I am so glad to see an experienced fuser, such as you, experience 'surprises' coming out of the kiln also! I am relatively new at this and have more 'surprises' than I ever imagined I would!

I enjoy how you explain you thought process with colors and especially when schedules affect results and how to modify. This is very helpful to me a newbie.

I love this project. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Wow! Thanks for sharing. I’m definitely trying this when my new kiln arrives.
Woah I just ordered a small microwave kiln and stumbled upon your videos and you sound like the Patrick Bateman of glass in the best way possible. Keep it up Glasshoppa!
I had to google Patrick Bateman ... Hmmmm. Enjoy the full catalog of video tutorials at www.glasshoppa.com Before long you might also appreciate www.glasshoppa.com/FirstKiln.html Good luck; have fun --
Greetings Jim,
Thank you so much.
You are an inspiration to me as a novice. I so enjoy experimenting as you do.
Your explanations are so helpful, especially to me.
Thank you! Many more here: glasshoppa@comcast.net

Nice video! My first exposure to the process of making this stuff!
This is beautiful! I am inspired. I am looking forward to see more work from you.
+Fashion Chaffey Thanks so much! Be sure to subscribe for notification of new content available ... on RUclips or on the blog ...
Thank you, this is so helpful. Please make more.
Excellent video, had to try this in my larger microwave kiln (5” inside diameter). It works, but you have tweak the “nuking time” to get it to work okay, then do not open the kiln for at least two hours. This way the heat can soak into the glass. The small kiln heats up too fast, and the glass could and will crack. My microwave has only 700 watts power of power.
thank you for your videos. I agree that you have a way of simplifying fusing.
Glad you are enjoying them and hope you find them helpful ...
Thanks for the very clear lesson (no pun intended, honest). Lovely work.
Great videos Hoppa-man
This looks fun

Muy buena técnica Gracias
Thanks! Your turned out gorgeous, I liked the softer edges best. The sharpie must have burned away? I look forward to more videos from you. I'll check out your blog now. Cheers!!
+Janet Tilley Thank you for the kind remarks ... your encouragement is my fuel! Yes, the sharpie marks burned away and in my experience always do ... but I usually clean them off -- just in case. : )
I've had the odd 'shadow' left by Sharpie marks, but not on every glass and usually only on art glass, not made-for-fusing glass.
Just a Glsshopper… nope your an artist too!
Hi where did you get the wall bracket? I am looking for suitable brackets and frames to make fused glass lamps
Can you tell us how many hours fire and how much degree . Thanks
Hello, Can I use ordinary glass if there is something special?
hi, I bought a small oven 17.5 cm x 14, but so I did not come to melt the glass, can 'come how should I proceed with the oven?
I just acquired an older kiln, Paragon A-88, is it possible to get good results without the ability to program the firing?
Yes it absolutely is ... It is just a lot more work, because you have to monitor and continually adjust the measured changes in internal temperature, to at least mimic the firing schedule. But it gets easier as you come to know your kiln and what to expect from it, and learn when to risk and when to be conservative in your firing. Good luck; have fun --
what is that amazing glass snapping tool you are using and where can I get one?
Great realisation and beautiful colours!!!
I wonder where i could buy a cutter table like yours ....
Could you please send me the référence or the link.
Thanks
Thanks for your kind words ... Your answer is here: www.glasshoppa.com/FAQ.html
Bubbles can also be squeezed out with a hold of half an hour at say 1250F
thank you, very well explained for me
Love your videos! Where did you find the adjustable wall bracket?
Try here under "adjustable stands" www.fireliteforms.com
Hello love your work, can you please tell me again the name of the Aloe gel you used? Do we have to wait for that to dry before firing?
I always recommend generic aloe (house brands) because once I tried Banana Boat brand and got a residue. I buy mine at Target; they call their house brand “Up & UP”. No it doesn't need to dry. If you have any problems, just use an adhesive that's made for glass fusing; there are many out there. No magic to aloe … Good luck; have fun --
Thanks for the videos there great and a good help
Beautiful
Thanks a million, really helpful videos b🙏🏻❤️😊

Voce poderia exercer sua otima Arte em Garrafas!!!!!!!
Could you tell me what's this glass cutter name and where i find it?
The company has many different ones. It's called Morton glass tools you can Google it and find their site plus many many suppliers
I don’t agree, I like them all, they all have their own charms...
How does Ms. Phillips feel about this dissemination of her process? Just asking.
Hi! There are no "secrets" here, but the design is her's, and is used with her permission. Thanks --
I doubt she was the first to overlap different colors of glass and put it into a kiln. This style has probably been around for a long time. It's such a simple basic style that anyone could come up with.
Hey these were also my thoughts, after reading your reply to Jeffrey Andrews, I think it would help if you said you’d used her design with her permission in the description maybe, otherwise it really just sound like you openly show how to copy some random living artist’s design
This technique has been used in stained glass pieces and mosaics without fusing for at least 4500 years ;)
affascinante
Hola. Cómo se llama ese vidrio?
Hi, a quick question, r u using bullseye glass or spectrum, thx
I am using System 96 -- Uroboros & Spectrum
can you do this so it will have a curve to it .
Easy to curve it in a second firing, over or into a simple ceramic mold. Called a "slump".
