she's so versatile....she's amazing....even Fela would have been proud of this song...makes you appreciate the beauty of the yoruba language/ the creativity of nigerians!!
I'm Cameroonian and a big fan of Asa. This son makes me feel like at home, in my village where similar sons are usually played by traditional groups. May I have the translation please ?
@@christianfodouop8048 she's basically lamenting about the situation of the country. That the country used to be so economically buoyant and beautiful and so she says in the chorus that “ti ilu o ba dun” (if the country is not sweet), “eyin le mo bi ese se” (you are the ones that know how you turned the country/made the country such way). Perhaps blaming the corrupt government who have ruined such a beautiful country. Thank you for listening to our music!😊❤️
I am a fan of ASA, fascinated with her creativity in story telling, conceptualising contemporary issues. For me after the song the next is Fire in the mountain. Grammy has never been credible but ASA has won my own Grammy back to back with songs like this and a couple of others like Bamidele. Keep it up Asa
I'm a stalker fan and I'm shocked I've never heard this song till this week... My favourite part is "ni sin ni sin ni sin". The flavour, beat, the jazzy touch makes you wanna slow dance with a glass of wine. Love it. Asa, you are a legend!
What is happening. How am I just hearing this song now? Wow. I search the internet every time to see if I will see something new about Asa even if it is her whistling or anything. How am I just seeing this now? I'm hangry.
@@sojiadamo5212...I thought we still train Doctors and Nurses for Overseas Countries? I think our music and artists still sell big arenas globally? It all starts here!😊
So first, she's awesome. Second, I need to get the full lyrics because I would love to cover this piece. So if anyone knows where I can get it/or if you have a link, let me know.
I can't believe it, this is my first time of listening to this song and I don't want it to end.. keep on moving it back.. ASA 🙅🏿♂️🙅🏿♂️🙅🏿♂️ RESPECT Ma..
