I love this simple capsule of outfits while traveling. The focus can be on your beautiful holiday, not fussing about what to wear. After all, who wants to spend time in the hotel when just outside Paris is calling? My favorite look is the stripe T with the white cardigan. ❤
@@midlifeposhcloset Hi there, we’re cruising out of Miami to the Bahamas, Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic. Your style suits me so well, I would love to see what you would pack 😊
It sounded eerie when you said we leaned back, trank a glass of wine and watched Notre Dame burn. Sounded as if you enjoyed a show. Very sad! @@midlifeposhcloset
@@elisabethlinz4256 Your interpretation of my words is very sad indeed. We were shocked and saddened as was everyone else. No one enjoyed "the show", as you put it.
I was there in spring just before the fire. So sad. I would suggest a crossbody bag for travel. It would be so easy to grab that bag off your arm or out of your hand. Wardrobe looks lovely.
I left Paris a day or two before the Notre Dame fire; it was all over the news as soon as we woke up after we arrived back home in California. It was the last site we visited. What a profound loss!
My husband was so mad at me because I did not want to go in. It was Holy Week and crawling with people, so I did not want to fight the crowds. I regretted that decision a few hours later.
@@midlifeposhcloset no way, same here! We didn’t go in either! And SO regret it! It as my friend and her son, and my oldest son. We had been going non-stop for ten days (the Louvre, Versailles, River cruise, Disneyland, etc.) so by our last day we were not keen on another long line. So we took pictures outside and then went across the street and had crepes and enjoyed the beautiful view of it. But had we known in just a day or so the priceless interior would be gone, we would have stood in any line to get in! But as a side note, what amazing weather we had during our trip that year (2019). April weather can be iffy in Paris, but most days were sunny and unseasonably warm. We definitely lucked out on the weather. I look back at all of our pictures, and it was just beautiful 😍
Love these ideas for travel in Paris this spring, which is exactly what we are doing. YOur sytle ideas work for me except i would do mor tuck ins. thanks
Love your choices, but for one. The white jeans. It rains, so the water/muddy streets splatter on the fabric. I would go to a darker tan. But that's just me. Otherwise, great outfits.
Nice outfits for a vacation in Paris but no scarfs? It is so easy to change an outfit in seconds, for warmth, elegance, chic or je ne sais quoi …. Unless your are planning a shopping spree at Hermes or a good SH.
Your voice, the music, the outfits are all so lovely. I love the blazers on you, I would like to see alternatives like the cardigan as structured blazers don't work for me. Lovely. Thank you.
it's my favorite city in the world, think it stems from my high school french classes, we try to make out there every spring and fall🥰
I’m 58 and new to your channel! I’m really enjoying your approach to fashion which is practical and elegant without being fussy or overdone.
I’m so glad we found each other!
For fun, place mouse traps in the empty straw tote for the pick pockets. Snap!
HAAA!
I like your speaking manner (if it’s right word in English) anyway thanks - was pleasure to plan my travel capsule to Paris with you 😊
Thank you very much!
I love this, thank you, but can you help me get over my fear of bringing/wearing white/off-white pants?
Just pack a Shout wipe or stain stick in your purse. Navy sailors keep a Clorox pen in their pockets when they were dress whites!

I like how you think!
I’m going on a cruise. If you could make a travel capsule wardrobe for that I’d be thrilled!
Where are you cruising to?! 🛥️

Just discovered your channel... love, love, love!

Simply, but so elegant thank you!!! 💕
Thank YOU for watching and for the positivity!
Your sharing about the burning of Notre Dame gave me chills. We are Notre Dame Irish ☘️
My father-in-law was a student and then a professor at Notre Dame, so my husband lived on campus for many years. We were devastated. 🍀🙏🏼

@@midlifeposhcloset Then please take my apology.
I was really flabbergasted about your words which I obviously misinterpreted.
Great video. Love your voice. So lovely and soothing to listen to. 😊
Thank you so much!
I am new to your videos and like them very much. But......where do you shop?
Heading to Spain and not finding any capsules. I think your style is great !
I went to university in Spain. The Italy in Spring travel capsule wardrobe would work well there!

Very nice, elegant outfits. Thank you .
Love your style! Could I ask how tall you are? I am thinking of ordering that trench coat. I am 5'1" so I wasn't sure if it would swallow me up...
I am barely 5’1!

I included scarves in the Italy outfit but not for Paris. I don't generally wear them.
I love your outfits! ❤
HOORAY and thank you! 🫶🏼🌸🩵
We were in Paris about 5 weeks before you. The fire was so sad. Lovely lookbook!
My husband was so mad at me because I did not want to go inside the cathedral. It was very busy that day. I regretted that decision a few hours later.
Loved this video!
I’ll be traveling to Key West ( You’ve said you’ve got a place in the Keys). Would love you to put together a capsule for this!
I did one back in December but I will update it again soon!
@@midlifeposhcloset oh, ok. I’ll look it up. Thanks
Is a cross body bag OK? I really no longer can carry a bag all day.
Crossbody is great - I show one in the Italy Travel Capsule Wardrobe.
Just beautiful
Thank you! 🫶🏼☕️🩵🌸
What a beautiful and perfect travel wardrobe!
Hope this helps!
I’m too messy to pack white.
To each her own! 🤍 (I keep a stain wipe in my purse.)

Bonjour de Paris!🗼🇨🇵
Wishing I was in Paris now! 🇫🇷❤️🍷
So, no scarf in Paris?
In general, I’m not a scarf person. I did include one in the Italy travel capsule though.
