Your presentation is so relaxing. The soft jazz background music, the white decor, and your low key voice all combine to make it very pleasant. And of course your outfits are quiet too. Thanks!
Just found you - so refreshing to see the untuck! I’ve never tucked my shirts - being on the petite side I feel it cuts me off while untucking lengthens. I also finally figured out (at age 50) that my personal style is classic, simple, tasteful while staying casual and effortless. I don’t dress up on a regular basis - don’t need to for my job, but that doesn’t mean you can’t look stylish and casual. Now I have a clear idea what pieces I need (and more importantly don’t need) to achieve that. You get it! Love your outfit ideas and clothing choices - look forward to seeing more.
I’m so glad we found each other! I have post coming soon on how to wear your shirt untucked. It may not be right for you, but it’s worth considering in the midlife years.
Wow, this video blew me away! The calmness, the esthetic, the music...perfection. Then we have the outfits…brilliant! I look forward to your Instagram posts every day but seeing this video and the compilation of outfits is next level. Thank you, Valarie, for taking the time to put this together. Look forward to seeing more of these in the future 👏👏👏
I just found you and I'm so glad that I did. I'm 68 and your classic polished timeless style is spot on to my style. I'll be checking out all of your past videos. Ty so much.
Shop your closet, yes! I have most of these items already but really like that beautiful houndstooth bag and how it adds interest to a neutral, classic outfit. When I first started buying blazers I got an array of cuts. I bought new and some really beautiful thrift store finds from Talbots, J Crew, and Banana Republic. I was worried that being petite I maybe shouldn't have gotten some of the longer ones but you are showing me just how nice they can look without overwhelming a petite frame. Thank you!!
So glad you said about tucking, every time I've tried it, I'm not comfortable with how it feels. Now I know, it's not for me! Thank you for lots of inspiration. XXXXX
I totally know what you mean. I’ve done videos on Instagram and Facebook about it but I will do a RUclips video soon. There is a NO TUCKING policy around here!
I don’t agree. Tucking your top in and adding a belt makes you look slimmer and you look more put together. Leaving your shirt out makes you look heavier. Just my opinion.
I find the tuck can make your legs look longer by creating a long waist -to - shoe line. But it only works if your top is a light, silky weight material. It needs to move and flow with you. Heavier or stiffer tops do look bulky.
Just discovered your RUclips channel and loving it. Is there a link to the white shirt and trench coat? I’ve been hunting for both for a year with not much luck because I am 5’1” and it’s difficult to find petite sizes in the trench coat particularly. I am in a rural area with not much shopping so need to order online which means returning a lot of orders. This gets expensive. Love your capsule wardrobe ideas.
Beautiful outfits and presentation. Have you considered the 1/3 to 2/3 dressing option? It wouldn’t need to be implemented all the time obviously, but it would definitely make your silhouette look longer ,if that’s something you might like ? Thank you so much for sharing your ideas and have a wonderful week xx

I have most of these items. I love the ideas you show. Sometimes I forget what I have and how to put it together.
Lovely outfits ideas. Love the concept of “ shopping your closet” 😊
Keeping it simple is so right
Agreed!
I love everything about this video!
Thank you soooo much! 🤗🤗🤗
Recently found you! Grew up in Northern MI and your coastal video brought back great memories. Love your style,
Awesome! Thank you!

Loved all the looks ❤
HOORAY!!! 🤍🫶🏼
Lovely ❤ I’m 5’3” I just learned I need an “A” line trench coat for my wardrobe.🎉
Trenchcoats can be tricky for petites like us, but I just love that the A-line adds some femininity to an otherwise masculine piece.
I'm enjoying your content so much! I can't wait to try that trick with the shirt instead of tucking it in. Thank you!
I’ll do a video soon about several other different hacks you can use instead of tucking your shirt. Thank you for letting me know that it’s helpful!
This is wonderful. Love your style and ideas.
Thank you so much! ☕️🤍🫶🏼
❤❤love all the ideas you share, thanks for sharing with us 😊 please keep them coming ❤😊
Thank you! Will do!
I really like the length of your shirts. I’ve ordered so many only to return them because they are so long on my petite frame.
Hope this helps!
I just found your channel and love your easy, elevated, and classic style. The camel blazer is out of stock. Do you have a replacement recommendation?

Hi there! I’m glad we found each other. Nothing wrong with my proportions here though. 😉
Beautiful thank you Brenda from Tn
Another new video coming tomorrow…
Love your music… not a fan of sneakers…. But everything else ❤… so so classy… so lovely 🥰…. Cardigan 🙌🏻❤️
Thank you for the positive feedback.
This helps me plan future outfits! 🗳️💕🙏🏼
I just found your channel and love your style. What color did you get the trench coat in?
Apricot for the trench coat. I’m so glad we found each other!
Can you do one of these for summer? 😊
YES! Although in Northern Michigan, I feel like we skipped Spring and went straight to summer. Tell me what the weather is like where you live!
@@midlifeposhcloset same as you. I am near Cleveland. I love capsule wardrobes as a base. I love how you put them together!
@@jenniferthomas5315 Let me see what I can come up with!
New subscriber 😘
Thanks for subbing! 🫶🏼🤍
Can I please ask the name of the colour of the trench coat?
I am wearing “Apricot” in Small in this episode.
