It is so refreshing to hear a coach talk about an emphasis on confusing the defense. All the good offenses do that - they make defenses wonder what they are looking at and so they are a step slow most of the time. That has been missing at Iowa for a decade.
At least Tim sounds like he has a clue what's going on and knows what he's doing and acts like he's putting a plan together. With the kind of offense we've had the last few years, any change will be welcome and refreshing!
So, will Lester be up in the booth, if so, hallelujah! IMO, the OC should be looking down at the full field defense and with the helmet intercom can be in continous contact with them. DEJA VU= O Line and receiver group need to step up. Wait, didn't we say that last year?
It’s hard to get better when players bail to the portal at the receiver position. I hope one or more of the young players turn out to be way better than anybody expects.
