- The idea of balancing deen and dunya has been torn down in this video by Sahil Adeem. While this idea doesn't actually exist in Islam, our understanding of it is simply wrong because one cannot balance a water droplet with the ocean since deen requires much more of us than dunya does, but we don't see it that way.

Islam is a way of life. Whatever role we are playing we need to do that role in the light of rules given by our Deen. Every action will then become Ibadat. For eg. being honest in our actions, our dealings with people around us, following the rules of responsibility all would be Ibadat when u keep in mind that you are answerable to Allah SWT.
