@@DelosSystemGaming Especially how aggressive the nature of this game is, Lee is great for slowing down the pace and pressure of the opponent, plus he’s a tough nut to crack with his tools
tips for lee, get comfortable using the dash and jabs to mix up and working crouch mixup with slide / while rising 2 launcher. glad to see u testing the waters with new characters!
i dont think lee is a good character for beginners. as you said, you havent built fundamentals yet. take on the easier character first like asuka. i always recommend her to anyone who wants to learn the game for her combos arent that hard. but if you really have chosen lee, its still fine. any character you choose you should have a "bread and butter" combo. a combo you always use that has maximum possible damage. watch players of that character and see what combo they always use. learn that combo and master it. as i said before, mastering a combo gets you a good grip of the character. after you master your bread and butter combo then you can proceed to the characters other stuff like punish, set-ups, tricks etc etc master a combo man. thats what you should do first. a combo that has the maximum possible damage.
Thanks! I'm not married to any character. Down the line, I want to main Lee. But for now, I'm experimenting with characters. I'm only 40 hours into the game, so I'm still a baby. That said, I'm working on combos with Lee and getting down the combo training ones down so I can at least do something with him. It's been fun though. I'm also looking into getting a coach, so that should keep me accountable throughout the grind..

Thanks! Yeah, Lee’s defensive style might benefit me to learn a new style and become a better overall player.

When I played against him, I found his tools and style interesting. So that’s why I wanted to try him out.

Thanks! Lee is definitely different from Hwoarang!
I personally believe the right choice for everyone is Panda. But my personal bias's aside, I think Lee is pretty cool so I dig it.
Panda/Kuma always give me issues.
Ground grabs and air grabs. These are why I chose King.
I’m getting flashbacks just thinking about this.
