How to make banoffee pie at home, this is a no bake recipe. Banoffee pie is an English dessert pie made from bananas, cream and toffee from boiled condensed milk (or dulce de leche), either on a pastry base or one made from crumbled biscuits and butter. Some versions of the recipe also include chocolate, coffee or both. Full of all things naughty, banoffee pie is irresistible. To save time, use bought dulce de leche instead of making your own caramel. This recipe serves 12 people. I make this at work and they love it! I suggest using a spring form or loose bottomed cake tin. If not, line with parchment paper so it will be easier to lift the whole pie out without breaking it.

Wait, the title and the recipe in the description box claims it is no bake, but you bake it in the oven in the video? It looks delicious though.
For all new bakers, do not use cling film if you're gonna bake it in the oven, it will melt!
Thanks Lisa! Well you dont have to bake it, just place in a fridge, i just like a bit crunchy edge, but i know what you mean. What do you mean by using cling film in the oven? of course it would melt :))
AllasYummyFood Since you baked it in the oven in the video and it said you could use cling film in the description box (even though you don't say to use the clingfilm in the oven) I just wanted to add that the two don't mix well. You'd be surprised how many people wouldn't think of that when baking ;)
