A lot of your viewers here, myself included, would absolutely buy a book with just your drawings in it but to appeal to a bigger percentage if everyday book readers you need some substance. I really enjoy watching the flow of your work. There's something freeing about it, and it encourages imagination. To me, the left side reminds me of an alien garden, and elements on the right side remind me of an Escher-like castle or the castle described in Mervyn Peake's Gormenghast trilogy. By the way, I'll trade you my summer weeks of 110+ temperatures for rain and grass mowing any day. (I envy the areas you show in your bicycle/sketching videos.)

My ideas keep changing, and I keep procrastinating it because it seems overwhelming. I feel like maybe I lack direction for what I want the book to actually be, or convey. So, you've got a huge step forward on me there lol. I dunno, I hope that makes you see how much you actually DO. And what you do has inspired me for just about a decade now. I highly recommend getting a reel mower(the kind with the spiral blades). No engine, no fossil fuel, no greenhouse gases, no fumes, never have to buy gas again. The way they actually cut will lead to healthier grass, as well. The spiral blade reel cuts against another blade at the bottom like scissors, making clean cuts so the grass experiences less stress and heals faster and stronger. Unless you get one of the heavy duty ones, they're also really light; you can probably lift and carry most models with one hand. Being so light, they're really easy to push. Also, they're super quiet; your neighbors probably won't even know you're mowing the lawn. The only caveats I have are that-depending on the state of your lawn-the first time using it might be tough if you have to cut through a thatch layer(but it's super easy otherwise). And they get caught up on twigs much smaller than you might think would stop the blades, but raking your lawn first should take care of that.

Great video, I would buy a big textbook of art. If I bought an original I would be worried about keeping it safe until a museum calls me about it one day in the future

Your piano playing is really coming along, that was lovely. I think you can be kind to yourself if some tasks are difficult. That can be a reality for a lot of us, it definitely is for me being neurodivergent. It can help to not necessarily expect myself to be able to do things just because they're easy for others, but find my own way of doing things that works for me, having the right strategies and support. Not everyone gets it if you have a lot of capability and talent in one area of life that might even require a lot of skill, but then struggle to do things that might be perceived as simple. But that is the reality for a lot of people and that's OK, it is sometimes just how we are.
You could use a mechanical pencil to draw a mechanical watch, and all the little otherworldly gears and springs and bits and parts. Watches in our universe hold time, do you think that in another they hold space?
for what it’s worth, i also struggle with depth. Been using layered washes of black watercolor over my pen and ink or graphite pencils…. the shadows really make it go DEEP

totally related to your struggles with doing stuff, happens to me ALL the time! i mostly get through it through my depression and adhd medications, but a minor way to help it may be to try to break the goals down in to small steps? i often feel overwhelmed at doing really small stuff like doing dishes, but i can usually have the energy to do at least part of the task. take it easy, and just do what little you can! in my experience, the less you think about the big picture, the more stuff you can get done lol on a different note, you were saying that your friend’s recommended adding writing to your new book; what about the wordles you have on your website? i personally love those, and i think it would help give your book more structure and direction! hope u have a good day :]
