In Dubai - there’s been carnage at the city’s airport, following the heaviest rainfall in the area for 75 years.
The United Arab Emirates has seen over 14 cm of rain in a day, about as much as it expects in a year-and-a-half.
Footage on social media shows planes landing on flooded runways, and there’s also video of passengers wading through water at the flooded Onpassive Metro Station in Dubai, such as this via Spectee, recorded by X user @Huma_2793:
This morning, Wednesday, Dubai International Airport said on X that the flooding had left "limited transportation options" and "recovery will take some time".

cloud seeding doesn’t really work like you think, otherwise all desert and drought-affected places would do it. you can’t fly planes into thunderstorms like this one

Makes me laugh how people will start believing in anything for the increase in frequency and strength of all these extreme weather events besides the obvious and extensively studied/proven - warmer oceans/atmosphere due to human caused climate change. Humans are so dumb it amazes me.
Cloud Seeding caused that changing weather like that can only end in disaster. You only have to look at the USA 🇺🇸 they do it all the time and look at all the bad weather they are getting, and I am now wondering if the UK are at it too to stop farmers growing enough food as they want them to be planting trees instead that should be done one moorland not farm land

Problem with geo engineering is that you cannot predict the outcome and control exactly how much will happen. There is probably a way to gauge it but they should have informed residents of the plan to prepare .. this was done by design to claim climate change/ insurance write offs and certain trades will be influenced by the weather. There is money to be made in damage and flood

Climate changes, this is known. We are introducing laws based on this, while wrapping all our food in plastic. It’s hilarious to be honest. Of course it changes, with more than 99% of the change being attributed to the sun, but we factor that out. Hopefully these taxes stop the rain.

For gods sake , cloud seeding wasnt done this time , its done for small clouds usually in the summer , in winter those are natural fronts that are fed from the 3 major pressure layers in the atmosphere .
