excited for this journey! i only watched the first two Hunger Games films (saw the second one in theaters), and i enjoyed them a lot. i read the first book but don’t really remember it much. i think John will definitely get into the movies!!

There's a series (episodes, not films though) with only one season so far. Around 20 minute episodes and/or you could check out the Red Band trailer for it. It's called The Legend of Vox Machina. It is epic and still fairly new, so you may not have seen it. NOTE: Not suitable for children.

Can't wait for the reactions. the 2nd Hungers games is my favorite of the 4. Running Man I have seen but is extremely medioce in my opinion when talking simliar films. Battle Royale did Hunger Games and Running way better. Love that movie. But the 2nd Hunger Games movie. . . can't wait for that because that is one of the best sequels for a franchise ever imo. :)
While I enjoyed Hunger Games overall, I'm gonna be that one hipster film snob in the comments who'll be bringing up that the Japanese "Battle Royale" (2000) is a superior movie in almost every way to the first HG 🤓
I was going to do the same thing until I read that you put it 😅, Battle Royale came out before Suzanne even wrong the books for Hunger Games and if you do not mind subtitled movie I was also highly recommend this. Running man was also a very good movie i'd say they are fairly similar in ways to Death Race (Jason Statham)and Gamer (Gerrard Butler)
@@JustDanny92 while I know Gamer was a total flop critically and amongst viewers, I have an unironic soft spot for that movie and it's definitely one of my guilty pleasures.
Only if you don't realize that Hunger Games was created to be teaching tools for middle school students about politics and war and not to be a movie franchise.

It does play before the books but the time it plays in is mentioned 2 or 3 time in the books. It appears on PC, PS4, PS5, XBox One and Xbox Series X, obviously the new Gen and a good PC will make the game look much nicer. And I don't know if you are a "gamer" but even my cousin (a huge HP fan) say he will buy it alongside a console. And he doesn't play video games at all

Another amazing series! One tht if u like and can handle the movies i highly recomend the books. Some of my faves, next to HP of course. Cant wait
For me the books started strong and fit weaker while the movies started weak and got stronger. Appreciate both though.
