It being Bluetooth-only makes it useless for gaming because most games where you care about having are also the games where you want to minimize latency. Maybe if it had one of those fast 2.4GHz dongles as an option, but it doesn't. Cool concept, but with that major flaw limiting what it can be used for.
And actually, maybe answering my own question here, I did actually demo a set at Canjam last year that I found to have splashy treble. So yeah, unfortunate unit variance with that set.
One of the things about the Kinera is the connectors aren't the same on both sides. The non-mic side has a connector that will fit recessed 2 pins and the other not. So I think they only fit with flush 2 pin connections. Is that correct?
Yea i seen the product pict and the one without mic have recessed 2 pin housing and the one with mic just standard bulky 2 pin housing that wouldn’t fit with some iem.
Warning for people who had recessed 2 pin iem, kinera cables with these mics only fit to one of the plug. Because the other 2 pin plug that have the mic didnt have recessed 2 pin and just standard bulky housing Idk what their design team were thinking, this has been a problem as far back as kinera gramr (could be longer)

Both sides have standard 0.78mm 2-pin connectors.
