I have a SportCross and you are one of the only content creators who consistently posts about the car as well as maintains/modifies it. This account really helps me to see what I could do with my SportCross as well as ways that I could take care of of it. Keep up the good work!
@@TheLemonFactor I initially went with the Accord because I was months away from becoming a father and the accord was sporty enough while being VERY practical. After putting a down payment toward my house, having the accord made less sense financially so I decided I should have less money in my vehicle and more set aside for other things. My 2008 IS350 was about $10k and is a pleasure to live with!
@sesh3508 smart! Wise financial decision 👍. I used to have a 2006 Lexus IS350… loved that car, but ended up moving onto a RX350 because I couldn’t comfortably fit the infant car seat in the back without taking away too much room from the front passenger.
Also it is worth noting that higher attitudes affect some engines more than others and the decrease in acceleration time is a percentage rather than seconds. Which means a NA cars that is already slow will need more seconds than a faster NA car. My old Impreza took 8.1 seconds to 60 on sea level but it needs 9.5 seconds at 6k feet
At 6k ft above sea-level we typically see around a 20-24% loss in power depending upon engine size, design, NA v Turbo/supercharger, and other environmental conditions. I love Colorado, but not when it comes to engine power 😩
@@TheLemonFactor Turbo cars will always be faster on a attitude assume both car are similar at sea level. one of my friend has a WRX and he runs only half second slower on Colorado until his piston ring gave out
What happened with the accord 2.0t.....so many modifications and no improvement...neither in the 0-60 nor in the 1/4 mile.....I was waiting for you to solve those problems
I have European spec 2002 Sportcross with longer diff/3.583 lsd/ and car goes 8.0 to 100 kmph absolutely stock measured at sea level :D my car have done 320k km

Thank you for your supportive comment 👍. I’m really glad to hear that you’re enjoying the channel 😁
I watched a bunch of your accord videos when I had my 2.0 10 speed, now I have an old Lexus again and so do you! haha, I love the sport cross man!
Good taste in cars 😉. Curious, why you no longer have the Accord?

@@TheLemonFactor yeah I bet lol, but hay at least you can turbo your car without being state reffed by those woke idiots!

Don’t know what you’re talking about… “problems”? The Accords running great and faster than hell much quicker in every regard 😁👍
7.1-7.3 seconds to 60 for me, at sea level, 150k miles. Only power related mod is a borla axle back
Sounds about right for sea level 👍
Tighten the shift knob inside the gearbox then test again😊
9,2 seconds for me, at sea level but with 2 people in the car. Stock 2002 Sportcross.
Were you using a Dragy to measure your time?
@@TheLemonFactor No just a phone app, ”Race Stats”. Maybe not the most accurate method, but it was very consistent throughout a few pulls.
@johnthorner2255 👍
I do 7.1-7.3 consistently. Only mod is a borla mufffler power wise
@lemonfactor what’s your fastest 1/4 mile in the accord?
I have European spec 2002 Sportcross with longer diff/3.583 lsd/ and car goes 8.0 to 100 kmph absolutely stock measured at sea level :D my car have done 320k km
Interesting 🤔. I didn’t realize the European spec had a different gear ratio.
@@TheLemonFactor yes, usually us specs are faster to 62 due to the shorter diff ratio , compared to eu specs
@SWATMRBG 👍
Slow but do much room for improvement will make it satisfying 😉
Exactly 👍. It gets off the line ok, but runs out of steam. The slow shift doesn’t help either 🫤🤷♂️
