love the "doh!" moment :) - great bike, nice vids - keep em going, especially with the new exhaust !
Thank you!
Thanks. Your videos help me so much🙏
Awesome. Glad to hear!
Love a video that includes mistakes, thank you. What are the torque specifications on those bolts? I don't want my fat wife falling off during our ride to the golden corral
Haha OMG. Also, thank you! I make mistakes so you don't have to. I would be doing you a disservice if I cut my mistakes out. I make these videos to prove anyone can do this! Just looked up the torque specs, based on a 2020 service manual, those bolts should be 18 ft lb.
Great video 👍Is there a torque spec for the cover plates

Bueno!
Stock passenger seat is very uncomfortable. We had to drop the cash and get saddleman . 4" wider, and so much more comfortable. Took 2 months to get but way better. (We had stock seat for 3months and they still gave us full refund on seat return)
Nice, yeah, I rarely have a passenger, just wanted to have something for those rare occasions. My wife says it's more comfortable than sitting on the back of my old SV650 though! Lol
Hi - thanks, great video. My major question: how does your wife like it? Continues to be a passenger or not comfy enough? I am contemplating a Corbin setup (damn expensive) so just wondering...thanks!
My previous bike was an SV650, she said it's definitely more comfortable than that lol. We don't go on crazy long rides or anything, by plenty comfortable for little 30-60 minute trips for lunch etc
Do you know where I can buy that middle piece in between the two bolts at the 1:50 mark? It attaches to the back of the seat before you push it in to the front grommet, do you know where I can buy this piece? My seat didnt come with on and without it, it makes my seat extremely shaky, and I cant find the name of the part or where to buy it anywhere.
Are you talking about the plastic part that covers the battery compartment?
What model is that? Love the white, blue and black scheme
2021 smoke white Indian Scout Bobber. Thanks!
Did the passenger pillion ever cause damage to the fender after use? Like the Rider weight pushes the seat down denting the fender from underneath.
Negative. The seat does not touch the fender at all.
Can I get the information about the tools you have ?( 6mm hex bit and extension...brand name, too )Thank you
Most of my tools are generic lol. I got a random multi pack of allan and torx bits for like a power drill and they fit right into a 1/4" socket on my ratchet.
Did you need to make the suspension more stiff to accommodate the passenger weight?
You definitely should if you intend to ride with a passenger often. I did not fit the quick ride I took my wife on.
Is that 1920 seat any more comfortable than the stock one or about the same?
It's a bit more comfortable surprisingly due to how wide it is, disperses your weight better and reduces pressure points. Almost anything aftermarket will be more comfortable though. Look at Alex Leathercraft if you want comfort and a similar style
So is there nothing protecting the Fender when you install the seat?
Nope. The passenger seat doesn't touch the fender, but you do have to be careful when installing it. That's why I put a towel on the fender.
@@Jimbobbington oh! I thought it was touching. That is pretty neat.
@@Joseph-wh5of nope there's about an inch of space
I would’ve cleaned all that crap off before I put it all back together. But that’s just me.
Haha yeah...I thought about it, but I'm not much of a cleaner lol
@@Jimbobbington would've only taken 2 minutes...
