7:24 seconds into the video when they’re attaching the ball screw housing what size screws are those cause I got to that step and don’t have 12 of them that would fit there that are button head screws so either I messed up or I’m supposed to use cap head ones m5X20
Did you get the assembly finished? Can't find much on this machine, any feedback on its accuracy, speed, issues, software, time to assemble, ect, thanks so much!
@ I only got the mechanical kit, it’s assembled I’m just waiting on some coupling shafts for my motors since the ones provided were 8x10 and 8x8 for the shafts I needed 10x10
@@AnotherScreenname they do have a manual they provided after purchase. Can’t really comment on the machine as a whole since I’m integrating my own Electronics from a previous machine I had built.
12:00 I have installed the x gantry with alignment pins. But there are slight gaps between the 3 profiles. Wouldn't it be better to align all 3 to the top profile while clamping them tight together?

2 months later... how do you like this? any issues, etc? Thanks!
@ it is sitting unfinished. The x ballscrew doesn’t spin freely. Bulkman says its just “a slight lag” but I think it’s causing resonance in the axis
