I have watched soooo many groomers who give the one minute bath, then rip their face apart using a flea comb on the eye discharge, its nice to see someone who actually does a proper job. You continue to impress me and I tend to be a bit of a karen about most of the groomers out there lol

Brittany…love the way you think about and handle Shih tzu pups. I have 2 and they were not well received when I scheduled grooms. When I said they were a very easy groom I could tell they had great doubts. Then when I picked them up and the groomer said they were great I always had to keep my mouth closed. There were many times I wanted to say…just give dogs a chance.

We had 2 Shid Tzus, and my husbnd groomed them at least once a month so they wouldn’t get matted. We bathed them regularly because they loved being outside with us, running around. I didn't want them to smell bad, either. They became real couch potatoes as they grew older, and really hated their baths. But we loved every moment had with them❤ You are a caring, patient and loving groomer🎉🎉🎉

I like how well you get their paw 🐾 pads so clean, both of my Shih Tzus always have fur on their paws after being groomed! Great job 👏🏼

She has a gorgeous coat, it looks so soft. It was a shame it had got too long and matted. I love watching the hair being shaved and it's like snow running off a hill. I am always amazed at what the pup is like after the shave as sometimes you see a chunkier and sadly the skin n bone malnourished ones.... I love those hairy Teddy legs and you tidied them beautifully. Oh her wee face and ears are so hairy. - the only time she was a wee bit difficult during trimming . Her tail looks like a horses but so tidy after the brush thru. All this hair removal has just reminded me, need my hair cut, my 'beard' plucked and ignore the legs as its winter, they are encased in trousers until next June!!! .... Gives an extra layer for warmth 🤣🤣🤣.. Brilliant as usual, your skills and personality are great. Bet you wish you had 4 arms and hands sometimes....

Hello we just bought our son a Cavapoo for his birthday we got him at 6months, the pictures that we saw of him his fur was cute and curly but when we got to see him in person his fur was long and straight, what I’m asking is how low should we have his fur cut to get back to the curly pattern that we fell in love with and have you ever cut a Cavapoo before
More than likely his adult coat is coming in and it will be more wavier than his puppy coat being naturally curly. So his adult coat probably won't be as curly.
You are a very good dog grommer all way patience with each dog in your care
Could I ask if a dog smells that bad would it not be best to shave all her hair off and give her other bath ??

How can you get rid of a dog smell ?
Hope this owner keeps a close eye on this dog...she acts like she is in heat and ready to be bred, like now ("flagging" her tail). If Harley stays outside, owner may not be aware, and chances are she will get bred. Who doesn't know what a mat is...does he not brush her...a little client education needed here. I never had to worry about a client walking in on me while grooming, this has to be a big distraction for you. Thanks for sharing your work with us.
How often can I wash my puppy at home?
Once a month with conditioner.

Why, oh why, can't dog owners understand if they want a longer coat on their dog, it requires the owner to either brush/comb the dog regularly or pay for a groomer to do it. Would the owners only wash and comb their own hair once every two or three months? I think not. And, with that, I'll step off the soapbox. 🤭
I like the fact the you don't shave down every dog do to matting. I've watched you a few times handling matted dogs. ( washing, blow drying). What type of matting you would not bathe?
Well you get right back up on that soap box because l loved that line “Would the owners only wash and comb their own hair every 2 or 3 months” Well the same mind set applies to leaving your dogs out for long periods of time if it’s hot or cold for you. You’d want water to drink and something to do. Don’t just put them out just so they are out…why have a dog then?
Literally! Or would they not bathe or brush their children?!! Everyone claims dogs are a part of their family until it comes to actually caring for it. I adore animals. And will forever advocate for them but it’s rare I come across a decent owner
@@xobelladonna2443 I could not agree with you more!!!! I am taking 3 pups to the groomer today. They need a winter cut. Trust me this isn’t cheap. But I care for my pups.

I try my hardest not to judge anyone but not only is the dog probably suuuuper uncomfortable feeling sooo dirty and knotty but like do people not realize the dingleberries and pee that gets smeared throughout their home? Especially if the dogs lay on the couches or beds? And the bacteria on their paws?!? It’s more heartbreaking than anything when you think about it. I know people go through hardships but it’s not about those situations…it’s about those that choose to make an animal live like that. That’s why I didn’t get an animal until I knew I could 100% afford to regularly give the animal proper care. Not only just grooming/bathing but also emergency and regular vet visits,regular flea/tick/heartworm,proper food,toys,training and you know the list goes on and on. It’s unbelievably costly if you want to make sure you give your pet the best life possible. You’d want that for any member in your home.. People don’t think when they get an animal. They just want one and go for it. Dogs shouldn’t be the #1 killers of people besides mosquitos and other humans lol they’re such amazing animals and people ruin them. Not only with treatment but breeding. Some have so many issues they can’t even fix…It’s so heartbreaking. I did NOT expect to carry on this much I really apologize lol
It’s so horrifying how many people live with their dogs getting shit all over their homes! Like these owners really let dingleberries on their furniture. I can’t even imagine the smell of these houses lmao. People just think dog shit just magically repels off the fur?!? 😂😂🤦🏻♀️feces literally caked into their fur and we all know these people let their dogs sleep in bed with them. I can feel my soul leaving my body just thinking of it

Why. Why, Why do dog owners not brush their dogs. Are so many that lazy? Get a short, coated dog if you do not want upkeep. Why allow your dog to go through the pain of matted air?
