up the mountain: Alishan, morning bike ride, forest walks | Taiwan Day 5

Time to leave Sun Moon Lake behind and head towards Alishan. It was a really long, winding car ride (shoutout to Mr. Huang on the stickshift), and after shuttling into the Alishan area itself, we had a long, stair-filled hike waiting for us that I'm not sure many of us were expecting. It was really beautiful and pretty but we were all very tired. The hotel and the area was at least a very nice, fancy experience.
