We had no issues at all. We didn’t adventure with much street food though. We stuck to nice restaurants and read the reviews before going. I think Julia experienced a little bit of heat stroke though so hydration is key if you are there when it’s really hot.

You guys should have visited Ladakh in India. It is one of the most unique places in India. Additionally, the Northeast states of India, especially Meghalaya, Sikkim, and Arunachal Pradesh, are breathtakingly beautiful. Moreover, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, as well as the Lakshadweep Islands, boast some of the best beaches in India.
I've seen many foreigners go to Pakistan and then go ga ga over their highways built by China through the Indian occupied territory of Kashmir... it is sad but then it becomes even more sad when they curate your travel within pakistan, you will be escorted by some rich guy or by the police there cause it is not safe but unfortunately that's the only way to get out alive out of Pakistan
We did end up going to Pakistan but we didn't visit this area so fortunately it didn't require security. We did end up meeting a really nice driver who ended up taking us around and he was very tall so almost like having a bodyguard with us.
