Discovering $200,000 Error Cards Inside a $30 Pack

- In this Pokemon cards opening I searched for the rarest misprint Pokemon cards ever made. One of the cards was recently featured on Pawn Stars which was Gastly from evolutions. The card sold for $3,000 and was found inside a Mewtwo Mayhem Pokemon theme deck. There is a good chance one more of these theme decks exist.

You know, I got a misprint way back in 1999 and I hated it. I don't remember which it was, but it was a holo card and it completely ruined my day. I remember a grown up telling me it will be worth a lot of money later. I said: It's Pokemon, who in the world would pay a lot of money for a pokemon card. He said you're probably right about that... Little did I know.
Makes me think of all my holo first edition base set cards I had in my back pocket at school. Even traded a charizard for ancient mew!! Lol

On that last mewtwo, on the top right, it looks like the lightning holo goes through onto the actual purple of the card. Interested to see if it’s an error.

Misprints and errors are so cool. I’d love to finally see someone pull the error dragonite from Rocket 1st edition. Or the ivy pikachu from jungle!

Ivy pikachu was the first secret rare card ever it took til about 5 years ago for people figure it out everyone thought it was an error card

I had a collector's dream collection with 3 1st edition charizards and 2 base set charizard and atleast 2x all the holos from 1st edition base set and almost every complete set of rare and holo rares from base set up til 2012 all pack fresh M or NM but in 2013 I went to get them from my parents house but some time after I moved out someone had went through all my stuff and stole my whole collection my binders my case that was full of my rarest cards I had in toploaders (4 binders full and around 350 cards in toploaders) I was pissed I started a new collection in 2013 but I'll probably never see 9/10 of those cards I had because most are going for 1000s of dollars
Always fun to see evolutions items getting opened just for nostalgia. Best of luck hunting for that needle.
My biggest misprint is a charmeleon that "evolves from vulpix"

I've worked in the printing industry for 20-plus years, how many years ago I printed some Pokemon cards that ended up going into boxes of cereals as a prize and I drew a swastika on the forehead of one of the pikachus. I'll give you tree Fiddy if you ever find it.
There seems to be alot of repeats after opening those packs. I'll have some if it helps.😁
from my understanding those play decks are supposed to be preset and identical. I think each card an how many you get is displayed on a list on the back of the box. Usually the only thing left on the shelf at my local walmart when the ETB's an single booster packs are all gone
