Thank you for this brief but informative video. I'm not an IT person, but it's impossible to operate in today's world without having a basic knowledge of technology. I didn't want anything detailed since I knew I wouldn't understand it. This was PERFECT.
This is the best example I've heard. Now I get it... The cloud is virtual storage space and different brands may offer it for a free until you reach a certain limit, which requires monthly fees. Thanks for a simple vid!! Just subscribed.

Best explanation I've heard.
Just keep updating everyone with simple things, like the cloud, VPN's, Coding, the infrastructure of the tech industry, 4g, 5g, bandwidth, Cellphones and radiation, cellphone battery life and apps..... there I tossed in some. Explain some of these. Basic concepts that quite a few ppl who are in business fully digital, but still don't understand any of this. I have my BS In Computer Science so I love seeing someone educate people on such topics. Makes it so I have a better chance of helping clients who know a little more because maybe they saw one of your videos. Good work.

This is wrong. Cloud is just an incorrect marketing term. Cloud means an unknown path data travels.
Please explain to me how a cloud is connected to a network. I mean how clouds are connected to the internet.

Could somebody please explain to me why everything on RUclips seems to be targeted towards children. It is quite frankly annoying

They are not targeted on children but rather explaining in such a way of what they think the majority of the audience would know. Most of the videos are targeted for on a mild depth - not extreme in-depth videos that are aimed towards the people who do those fields of subject for a living. You may think that it's targeted for childrens when it's not - to be frank, it's targeted for a wide range of audience.
In any case, halfish~~ of explained videos made are targeted on high schools students or college students. That shouldn't be a problem for you since nowadays, our level of understanding rival the adult level of understanding - excluding newly graduates.

+Stormfox You would be surprised how many people don't understand what the cloud is. As someone who teaches older people to use computers, aside from tabbed browsing, the cloud is one of the most difficult things for them to understand.
Not for people like me who are already old ; )
