Autism Treatment with Vision Therapy, Eye Tracking Exercises, and Ambient Prism Lenses, etc.

Ryan, a child with autism spectrum disorder, was profoundly helped by optometric vision therapy which included eye exercises and ambient prism lenses (or yoked prism lenses) to improve overall visual skills, eye tracking, eye teaming, binocular vision, attention, auditory processing, visual processing, sensory integration, etc. Ryan was struggling with reading and is now reading at grade level. His reading is greatly improved! His attention, balance, eye contact are so much better.

What are ambient prism lenses? Are they similar to regular prism glasses?

No .... mostly you work with yoked prism...and that is used in therapy/ training only.
