Welcome to the annual Ramadan Nights Festival in Lakemba, Sydney! This month-long event is one of the most highly anticipated festivals in the Islamic community and attracts visitors from all over the world.
From Tuesday, March 21st to Thursday, April 20th 2023, Haldon Street in Lakemba will be transformed into a vibrant cultural hub, featuring over 75 local businesses showcasing their delicious cuisine, cultural performances, and artisanal crafts.
The festival runs nightly from dusk until 3am, providing a perfect opportunity for visitors to experience the sights, sounds, and flavors of the most sacred month on the Islamic calendar.
In 2022 the festival drew over 1.2 million visitors, making it one of the biggest events in Sydney. Mayor Khal Asfour from the City of Canterbury Bankstown remarked that this was even more visitors than the renowned Sydney Royal Easter Show!
