Darling Harbour is hosting the Winter Festival for two weeks from now until the 21st of August.
Over the next two weeks from 5 pm to 9 pm Thursdays & Fridays and from 12 noon to 9 pm on Saturdays or 8 pm on Sundays, there will be free live music and performances, outdoor bars, firepits, igloos, and foodie markets.
If you visit on Friday or Saturday, don’t forget to watch the fireworks at 8.30 pm at Cockle Bay.
Come along and enjoy free live music performances by some of Australia’s popular bands & DJs including Soul of Sydney, Sincopa, The Soul Movers, Suite Az, Luke Zanc Trio, Bermuda Social, Sir Archer, DJ Lauren Neko, Hot Potato Band, La Fiesta Sound System, Gang of Brothers, Duke Music, DJ Beth Yen, Julia & Noah, Baker Boys Band, and Furnace and the Fundamentals.
Igloos are styled, taking inspiration from iconic international ski fields - Whistler, Canada; Niseko, Japan; Cardrona, New Zealand; Courchevel, France; and Aspen, USA. The igloos can be booked for up to 6 people for $65 per hour, which includes a round of drinks such as Bailey’s hot chocolate and mulled wine. Additional drinks will be available to purchase by the igloos for those who’d like to try a wide selection of other drinks.
There are stalls and food trucks serving up some awesome food from Burgerhead, Firepop, Gelatissimo, Urban Gypsy Cafe, Toastiesmith, Bubble Nini, Okonomiyaki, The Fudge Shop, Wafflo, and more!
You can warm up with craft beers and mulled wine from pop-up bars in the park and dance to the live music from the Tumbalong Park stage.
