This video explains the solution of all the problems of Exercise 1C of Unit 3 Indices (Chapter 1 in CA Foundation Maths study material book provided by ICAI). Problems are solved with multiple methods which include short tricks, reverse tricks, calculator tricks and also normal methods. After understanding these problems, you should be able to crack any problem of Indices that will appear in your CA Foundation Maths exam paper.

Sir 35:42 we can use shortcut method as horizontally =3 negatives
Vertically=3negatives
Therefore two are same and answer will be 'x'
And if these are different answer will be 1/x

Sir, I dont know if you have noticed but the sums that follow a cycle in their powers (eg: x,y,z or a,b,c) their ans is always 1. Eg: Q.9, Q.23, Q.25, Q.26 Q.28, Q.29.
Yes definitely. But some questions don’t follow that. So usually I don’t suggest that method. But you can definitely use
