I always heard this during my Echoes at the cardiologist appointments, and just assumed that was how a normal heartbeat sounded like... I was always told I had a murmur, but never really recognized it as such.
hello so this sound is just normal?

❤❤❤❤❤
This video truly helped me! Thank you so much for you effort! Still, I have a question: I'm pretty sure there's a logical way (related to physics maybe) through which you can tell whether the sound/murmur irradiates or not. Does anyone know it and if so, would mind sharing it? Thank you and keep up the good work! 😊
It's due to the direction of ejected blood
Hello. I am planning a teaching session on murmurs for medical students. Would you be happy for me to use your videos for this session? Thanks
Of course you can! Let me know how the session goes, any feedback would be appreciated!
Excellent video
Amazing
Very nice
Great
Hello, I had an echocardiogram last week and heard a “blowing” sound like this. Still waiting on results. I get palpitations and breathless even after walking up stairs,. I know nothing about medicine but I’ve been listening to heart sounds and this sounds most similar. I know I have to wait for results but in the meantime does anyone think this is what I heard or what other heart problems can cause this blowing sound :)
It really helped me a lot 😍
my heart is rhyming
excellent
❤️
VSD too
That's what I have. Interesting
same bro do you have symptoms ? or how have you been
cool
nice
❤️❤️❤️❤️
They probably reordered this by blowing into the mic.
What is the difference between holosysystolic and pansystolic murmurs??
both mean same thing
In One of them you can still hear R1 , but in the other can't hear any other sound during R1-R2
I have always thought they meant thesame thing
Is the cause of such sounds the pressure exerted by the blood flowing retrogradely at the level of Mitral/Tricuspid valve?
Cool
Amazing ❤️
The sound nearly gave me a heart attack at 1st while tryna tell if chest and shortness of breath is bc of this. I mean it my chest still stings from startled
O fudge I match this actually..everyone who isn't a local doc should ignore my comments here lmfao
i've been listening to my heart using a stethoscope and when i lay down this is what i hear 😔 my doctor said i have a leaky heart valve but i forgot which one. is this something that's gonna get worse? this is exactly what i hear but the woosh sound isn't as loud. i'm so scared. i hate surgeries but i've been feeling dizzy and out of breath and i'm pretty sure it's cause of this 😞 i'm so scared
Good to get it checked out, because at a minimum your heart is working harder to put an adequate amount of blood out to your periphery and organs. This can lead to heart failure over time. Only testing can determine whether there is any current effect on your heart or whether the defects need to be repaired.
crumblymunky is it possible that this could be harmless ?
@@miguelcampagne9414 dizzy and out of breath is the main concern, which is why I said you should get it checked out again. It could be something unrelated to your heart as well, like anxiety. Some people live with heart murmurs or leaky valves for their whole life and it causes no problems.
Theres no audible pitch differentiation between s1 s2. Guess this is simulated sample.
It sounds scary lol
Try listening to Aortic Regurgitation too.
I had it when I was little calling me scary huh?
Should I understand it as lub dub but with a wheeze due blowing
