Some interesting bits from that hunt. Those coronation medallions are always a cool find. I've dug lots of those Gardiner buttons from older sites over the years.Cheers.
Thankyou :) yes I was reading online that some new apprentice got completely lost in the Gardiner factory and had to be shown how to get back out 😂 so it must have been a pretty big company and pumped out a lot of buttons 👍🏼
Good hunts William. The bead is probably jet. Very fashionable with the Victorians. Usually worn as mourning ware. Good lot of finds. Merry Christmas mate 😁👍

The item with Philadelphia on it is a mounting stud for the handle of a hand saw. Cool find.

Hi Andrew, maybe that’s where we get the expression “jet black “ from 🤔 Happy Christmas to the CBK team as well :) 👍🏼
At 2.45 may be Morris Minor front bonnet badge surround. They were tight on the turned down nose of the bonnet. Not sure but could be.
Those medallions are so cool! Well done and keep it up!
Thankyou :)
Hmmm possibly not bulky enough for that after a re think.
Yes it’s a good guess I never thought of that , but it is pretty light brass so I’m not sure :) 👍🏼
