Been wondering between the Uber Driver and the Sub Driver 2.0 for my first daily board. Been surfing on a 6"6 Groveler with 44LT for 2years now and want to jump into something more performance oriented and less volume / size. Between these two which one you think is the most fun, adapts better on 3-6FT wave range? This will be my board to finaly start investing some pratice into a more vertical and fast surf. I'm 83KG and 1,86m and only surf average beach breaks. Thanks a lot for sharing :) great video
Hey friend, I can't speak to your size but I own both those boards. Uber Driver grovels better and Sub Driver is more versatile. Sub driver is a great board to transition to faster surf if you never had had a high performance shortboard before since it has a little less rocker (more ease) than other high performance boards.
Rip stick.....its so obvious the Uber driver is better then the Driver 2.0 I can see everyone that uses the Driver is riding soft and not as balanced on the snap and pocket and having to ride to far back onnit which your plowing water obviously. Ive watched 5 guys and you surf it and everyone is not pushing it as hard as you would if you had something you were truly Comfortable with giving it your All. Just keeping it 1k cause I just bought one and haven't even riden it yet but Im a powerfull surfer and know a good Mayhem when I get it. I snagged the 5'9 Driver 2.0 and Im allready knowing Im gonna sell it asap but fins Matter so much so I'll try the Machados maybe or something with some serious drive to see what I can do for that.
Bro sweet heart😂 no ways, both good boards but Uber driver is more friendly, future controller quads have way more drive than RM and I don’t think anyone trusts you when you say you know a good mayhem. May as well join the team
@@foxgd88 Idk how it said Sweetheart my phones predictive text felt the need but My Driver 2.0 was way to narrow so to each their own Im sure if I got a wider one I could've ripped it. I've had many Mayhem's so no worries if u trust thy judgment I guess I didn't explain the specs for my size and surfing style so thats extremely important with any board. Im sure just about any shape can be matched to a Rip stick for that guy with the correct dimensions. No bad vibes here just love to Surf and take it quite serious. Always been a Mayhem supporter their the best shapes for my style hands down. Don't take my passion wrong sometimes I get a little Turnt up..
