    These need some micro switches installed so it doesn't pass the endpoints.....mine lowers,then attempts to raise until I hit the "ok" button or else it will reverse the belt on the spool...then I have to hit the "up" button so it will come back down,then hit "ok" again so it will retract properly....basically is not stopping automatically when lowering

      We're sorry for the problems! This particular one can be resolved by following the pitched ceiling adjustment instructions, setting the minimum height of the TV to where the lift belt still has some tension with the arm. cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1190/2562/files/MOUNT-E-FD55_-_REMOTE_CONTROL_REV1.1_online_1.pdf?v=1675795472
      (NOTE: Before starting the adjustment, unplug the power for about 10 seconds and then plug it back in)
      If it still gives you problems after this, please contact our customer support team for assistance: vivo-us.com/pages/support

    So this mount doesn't lower the TV to a 90 degree perpendicular angle; to the ground?

    • @VIVOus
      @VIVOus  3 месяца назад

      No, it comes down to a minimum 75° angle from the ceiling.

    Can you help please: I bought 3 of these one for each bedroom and one for the drawing room. The one in the drawing room OKAY works fine . The ones in the bedroom beep 3 times and do not move down.
    I am frustrated I have reset following the instructions, ie "unplugged 10 seconds, replugged, and pressed okay 6 seconds" as per the instructions but still zero: the TV won't move down. I have been trying this all day and I am very frustrated and disheartened. Please be so kind as to help.
    If you could just explain how to get the TV down to viewing level, that would be very helpful indeed. Thank you. John.

      We're sorry this is happening! Since you're getting 3 double beeps, you likely have the previous version with the IR sensor. We would suggest first performing a belt reset as shown in this video.
      After this is finished, reset each mount by holding the 1 button on the remote for 5 seconds a total of 6 times while aiming at the mount's IR sensor. It should automatically retract fully, then drop down until the mount has determined the minimum height. Once that's finished, press the OK button to reactivate the mount (it will raise to the ceiling and then be ready for full operation).

    So I have the fd 70 model and I followed these instructions, however I’m unable to slide the thing forward to put the belt back into its place? How am I supposed to fix that portion if I can’t move it forward.

    • @VIVOus

      We're sorry the mount is giving you trouble! MOUNT-E-FD70 has a larger motor and gearbox than FD55 which is unable to slide forward as a result, so we have another video showing what to do for this model: ruclips.net/video/FolzqF1N-sU/видео.html

      The mount can be reset by holding the OK button for 6 seconds. After holding the button, the arm will raise completely to the ceiling. Once it's fully raised, press the down button and allow the mount to lower completely. If this doesn't work, please contact our customer support team for further assistance: vivo-us.com/pages/support

    What if I can’t move the pull assembly forward

    • @VIVOus
      @VIVOus  3 года назад +1

      For MOUNT-E-FD55, the motor/pulley assembly doesn't move much, but it should give just enough room to reinsert the belt into the back. For MOUNT-E-FD70 though, the motor is too large to move around, so the mount will likely have to be removed from the ceiling to open the top access panel.

    • @LaneBandit
      @LaneBandit 3 года назад

      @@VIVOus what do you mean open the top access panel ? Yes I have the 70. I have taken the tv down my mount is on a pitched ceiling. I put it up yesterday and it worked at first but I think i demonstrated it to much put of excitement so I had to trouble shoot the belt so your saying take the mount down ? And then open the access panel which is where ?

    • @VIVOus
      @VIVOus  3 года назад

      @@LaneBandit The access panel is on the top of the ceiling mount portion. With the mount removed from the ceiling, you'll be able to remove the 6 screws holding the panel in place, and this will allow the belt to more easily be reinstalled and secured.
      Since the mount is on a pitched ceiling, we would recommend following the instructions for setting the mount to work correctly with the ceiling. This will be on the first page of the remote manual: cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1190/2562/files/MOUNT-E-FD70_-_REMOTE_CONTROL_online.pdf?v=1603818796

    How about designing something so this doesn’t happen? You’re making money on faulty equipment. Do better

    • @VIVOus
      @VIVOus  2 года назад

      Normally, this never has to be done. Sometimes a mounted TV has a balance that's slightly off from the arm's movement range, causing it to not lower 100%, or there may be a slight angle to some ceilings that have a similar effect. This can mess with the mount's position sensor, and using the instructions for pitched ceiling adjustment to raise the minimum angle a couple degrees has typically solved this and prevented further problems.
      The vast majority of these mounts work completely trouble free, but for any that may have a problem, we will always do what we can to help, and we are always trying to find ways to improve our designs.

    • @VIVOus
      @VIVOus  2 года назад

      We're sorry this keeps happening! After resetting the belt, do you notice any slack in the belt when the mount is fully lowered? If so, unplug the mount for 10 seconds, plug back in, and then follow the "pitched surface" instructions in the controller manual to raise the lowered angle a degree or two. Eliminating slack from the belt can help to prevent this problem from happening again. cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1190/2562/files/MOUNT-E-FD55_-_Remote_Control_online_2.pdf?v=1602716662
