I don’t look at it as being harsh, I love that you always give your real and honest opinion on polishes. You are never trashing a brand but rather speaking on the formula and its performance. A brand can be wonderful and release polishes occasionally that are not. As someone else who has a very large collection I rely of your feedback to narrow down my choices. Thank you for staying true to you!
Okay probably an unpopular opinion but I want a primary yellow jelly with this collection to layer with. They have a magenta and cyan but with the yellow you could mix any color pretty much.
I love using my yellow and various colors doing jelly nails! I typically mix with a peach/ orange or last night used to blend for "aurora" nails with a teal and mint green
I appreciate the honest reviews because they help me measure my patience for certain formulas. I've grown to enjoy jellies for their layering capabilities, so the fact that these look solid in 2-3 coats makes me feel more comfortable buying them. Hopefully these sell well so we get a full rainbow of options (I can dream 🤣).
I don't think you were harsh at all, very kind as usual! I don't have a ton of jelly polishes but I do think that they are cute. I also love how you layered them with different toppers. So fun!
I've honestly never lilked jellies. I have a very visible nail line and I don't like when I apply nail polish and can still see it, even after 3 coats. I suppose jelly sandwiches are fun, but it's not a manicure I gravitate toward when doing my nails. As far as "funny" horror movies, the only one that comes to mind right this second is Shaun of the Dead. If you haven't watched it, give it a try. It's a good one. Oh... and another good one is Zombieland. Highly recommend!
Honestly, these jellies look beautiful in the end, specially with the sandwiches, and knowing how to get to that finish and knowing that it will be patchy in the beginning doesn’t make me want to buy them less. Because I would be making a well informed purchase, which is always a joy. Thanks for the review kelli! You’re always taking care of the community with these reviews 🧡
I’m a fan of jellies mainly for the jelly sandwich. They are fun to play with because you can stack different colors and come up with new colors. I also like to use toppers in there and I’ll put some of the topper on top too for extra dimension. They’re just fun to experiment with.
I love Pink Slush and Turquoise Water. I’m glad you showcased this collection. I found a red jelly recently in Marshall’s and did a snowflake sandwich (just for home tryout). I loved it. So now I have to have some more. Appreciate you so much and trust your polish wisdom!❤😊
They’re pretty, wish there were more than 4 shades. The jelly sandwiches turned out nicely! 👌🏼 The brush did look fantastic too, I noticed that so good to hear you confirm that.
I love Jellies! I did my nails all things "Aurora Borealis" last night with my Jellies, in honor of our weekend treat of having the Northern lights all over!😁
Tango and Turquoise Water were my favorites. Tango you could do a sunrise look with golds or sunset look with some purples, maroons, and golds. And I loved the look of the topper on Turquoise Water.
Kelli you’re not harsh at all!!! You’re showcasing the brand and the jellies amazingly!!! And I love those jellies and appreciate your honesty and the versatile uses of the products! I love the colors and I haven’t tried the brand I’m just on a tight budget rn but will try them soon!
I’m a pink jelly girl. I’m in the military so I’m limited to certain colors. I appreciate the shine that comes with jelly so thank you for this review.
Thank you for swatching ILNP! I've been an ILNP fan for over a decade and its hard to find a routine reviewer now that HoloTaco has taken over. So many swatchers got taken out by Mentality polish. 😢
These colors are great for summer. I wish there was a pale yellow/green with the collection though. The colors all together remind me of freeze pops, those frozen slushy ice pops in the plastic tubes.
Love these colours, they do look very juicy, be interesting to see if they do more jelly polishes in the future Great review as always, your hair looks really good as well, thank you Kelli ❤xxx
That turquoise will be great to sandwich ocean-y nail art! I've got some mermaids, tropical fish and coral stamping plates that this would go so well with for a great underwater vibe 🐠🐬🧜♀
Love your hair! I really like the jelly sandwiches that you did. Very pretty! Not real familiar with jellies. But I am now! I learn so much from you! Thank you! Plus you are so enjoyable to watch! 💜
I don’t own any jellies because I don’t like the sheer look, but you have convinced me to try out this collection just with that pink slush jelly sandwich. That is truly gorgeous!! Plus I can get that topper from ILNP too!
So because of the difficulty getting a hold of caddillaquer, I'm playing with jellies and topper sandwiches because it kinda dances around what caddillaquer is doing. I'm liking jellies alot more
These are super pretty. I've not messed with jelly polishes much. Have you seen Smile? Or Cabin in the Woods? Smile had some jump scares, but also just genuinely unnerving parts. Cabin in the Woods is one of my favorite movies of all time, despite not being huge into horror.
I did enjoy smile! Definitely a freaky movie haha. Weirdly enough I stopped watching Cabin in the Woods about halfway through, but that was when it first was released and I had very different opinions on movies back then so maybe I'm due to give it another shot lol
@KelliMarissa Smile definitely kept me up at night/made me creeped out to walk around my house at night, eeeek. Cabin in the Woods made me laugh at parts which really helped me really love the characters. I really enjoyed it, but it may not be everyone's cup of tea. But I'd say worth a rewatch attempt if only for the ending :)
I never expect a jelly to be what I want in 1 coat, and the only jelly I love in just 2 is Starrily Flame Jelly. These look awsome! Will probably pick up Malibu. And if ILNP wants to make a jelly set for each season, I would NOT be mad. I've been searching for a deep forest green with jelly-like appearance for a while, and I just know ILNP would deliver.
i was hopeful for a purple jelly! would also be great as a tint for stained nails in a single coat, though i guess i could mix the pink and blue but i feel at that point it'd be too opaque to be a tint of "your nail but better and not stained" lol
Hi Kelli, Pink Slush and Turquoise Waters are pretty, and 3 coats looks like the winner. 2 coats looks a little too sheer to me still. I'm not used to jellies yet! 💗💙
This has me thinking about how to layer jellies over other polishes AND toppers. My fave topper ever is an I Scream Nails glitter in a sheer brown base, looks so beautiful over nudes and warm polishes. A jelly might have the same effect if layered over an opaque polish and glitter topper!
the colors:🔥 they are so pretty especially Malibu, and i don't like redish-pinkish colors on me but i love that one and that might actually be cute anyhow, thanks for the video Kelli! i enjoy watching these reviews! 😘 tons of love from Germany🇩🇪 btw your hair is so pretty! i ❤ the black hair w/ the red
I really love Turquoise Water, I might have to pick it up! A horror movie that was so bad it was good was Wish Upon. So much fun to watch with friends!
Milk tea it's a great description. I don't mind the milky jellies but I do tend to gravitate towards the truly translucent ones. I mean if you're going to wear a jelly, you might as well go all out! Not to mention they're easier to do sandwiches with
I've been wanting a bright orange but it's also not a color good against my skin tone so i've been reluctant to buy one. but omg Tango looks so juicy i think i'm saved
I've been obsessed with LA Colors new stuff. Currently wearing a rose gold color. Still waiting for LA Colors video btw. It's ok, I'll wait. Love my Jersey girls! You can take the girl outta Jersey but you can't take the Jersey outta the girl!
These are all very pretty! I have become a crazy nail polish addict thanks to your videos. ILNP is my favorite! Do you think they will ever change all of their polishes to a round brush? Just curious.
Honestly it doesn't seem that they have plans to! I believe the only flat brush/round tip will be part of their studio color line and the rest will stay as the medium wide flat tip!
I don't think you're being harsh even a little bit, haha! It's okay to just give your opinion including criticism or just what you don't like. ❤ Also I love your new hair colors! I recently compiled a list of my jellies and realized I own almost all Cirque jellies! So I'll probably pass on these 😅
Did you take a video of your gradients are we waiting for a new release? I played with my Night Owl Lacquer neon jellies a bit yesterday. These are pretty but I’m switching jobs and moving this summer, so I’m starting to hold off buying. Love that ILNP will still have these later. A lot of indie brands mix orange and pink beautifully so that might make a good sandwich. Would also go great with your Halloween Orly mix obviously for fall.
I liked turquoise water the best out of the collection. I know this isn't a mooncat swatch video, but I know you like green polishes. I thought you might want to try the color "Stranger" if you don't have it already. It's a cream polish and it's very self leveling. It's and olive green. It's perfect for army nail art. With that said, I also know you're currently into Peach colors right now, but you said there isn't enough greens in the world
glad they didn't do a green or a yellow cuz that might have looked gnarly - they missed out on doing a purple but that's okay we've got your purple Mystic jelly!!
The search continues for more jelly options. These look great in two coats!! But for the way that I like to do jelly manicures, I need them to be able to level out nicely and evenly in one coat so I get a consistent wash of color. 🩵💙🧡 Your conversation about horror movies also reminded me suddenly of that Kevin Smith movie Tusk. I told a friend about it at the time, and after he watched it, we were both like "what was that?".
I’m a huge horror fan, movies and reading! Occasionally I will watch a horror-comedy, my favorite is Tucker & Dale vs Evil. It’s honestly a pretty fun one and worth a watch with some friends! 😊
I just want to a really really thick polish to thin polish using thinner I already saw other thinning videos of yours so i want another one pls I really love your channel and i watch every single video of yours and i thin all my nail polish because of you thanks cause I got so many of dry polish so another nail polish thinning video pls
I also feel like an outlier in that I think ILNP's first foray into jellies is just ok. I was expecting more colors like a yellow. I love doing jelly gradients, so my color combinations would be pretty limited with this selection of colors. They look great nonetheless and they will for sure be adding to this lineup eventually. As for bad horror movies, my favorite is Stephen King's Sleepwalkers. It's a bonkers movie that really embodies the "so bad, it's good." I'll also chime in and say to give the Cabin in the Woods a second chance. It's definitely a movie for horror fans.
Hi I wonder if you can help me, I love mooncats fools gold and I am looking for a silver version. I am based in UK I can buy some us polish but not all thank you
I always thought horror parody was from people who thought the original horror was bad and not at all scary and that’s them making fun of it. 😂😂😂 I will definitely be getting these jellies. Been wanting to do jelly sandwiches. The choker and necklace combo looks nice. I just recently got into Stephen King. I’m reading Fairy Tale. Any recommendation for my next Stephen king? There’s so many I don’t know where to go next.
Not a parody, but a horror comedy: Tucker & Dale vs. Evil. I see a few people have mentioned it so I’m mentioning it too. :) Very well done and fun! I recommend to anyone who likes horror.
I love the jelly look but they are not very popular where I live. The only brand I can buy here are the ones by essie. Did you try them? The promotion photos and clips aren‘t looking that nice. And an other question. Is there a nail file you can recommended? I have so damn strong nails, it‘s always a pain to file them. As I love doing my nails I hate the process of filing them.
Ooh I didn't even know Essie made jellies, I'll look for them! My fave nail file is the Germanikure one (they're on Amazon!) I got a bunch in 2015 and I still use the same ones haha it feels like they're never gonna lose their grit, I'm shocked they've lasted this long lol
There's definitely a difference between a bad horror movie and a parody horror movie. I don't like the parody horror movies either, but I'm a huge fan of 'bad' cinema. Usually the 'good' bad movies are made by a crew who were trying their darnedest to make a genuinely scary movie. When the script, or acting, or effects are terrible but the movie was put together with love (and usually a lot of drugs) there is a certain magic that happens lol Roger Corman (RIP) started making black and white horror movies and was still making movies until 2015, I highly recommend his movies as far as fun to watch horror. A movie that I genuinely like is Horror Express (featuring Christopher Lee), its free on RUclips and was a genuinely fun horror movie from the 70's. Love you your videos as always!!!
My husband and daughter like watching the goofy horror movies and they also watched Slotherhouse. They thought that was one was pretty good. Said it started slow but then got good. I do not like horror movies! 😆
No, I try to pick a different song each time but it's whatever's playing in the background very softly during the video gets raised to regular volume for the outro 😄
I don’t look at it as being harsh, I love that you always give your real and honest opinion on polishes. You are never trashing a brand but rather speaking on the formula and its performance. Yes yes yes! I thought the same!
Very true!! I do Love that about jellies 😊
I completely agree with you. I think I would get the yellow & I would like green. But these look really nice.
I bought the so jelly collection from I scream nails and it's a really good combo of polishes you can layer to get different colours.
I definitely would love to see them continue making colors in this formula! It would be great for experimenting options!
Ahhh I love the phrase "jelly sandwich"
Same lol! Always makes me think of SpongeBob somehow 😂😂
@@KelliMarissa haha yess
Came to say the same thing 😂
That turquoise looks great on you. I have no intention of buying a jelly, but I do love watching jelly experiments.👍🏻
I do still have so much fun experimenting with them so that probably won't stop anytime soon haha!
I don't think you were harsh at all, very kind as usual! I don't have a ton of jelly polishes but I do think that they are cute. I also love how you layered them with different toppers. So fun!
I like how you paired the turquoise water with the topper. Such a fun summery look!
They really do look so nice together don't they??
So glad they released plain jellies, they’re so versatile they’ve become my favorite finish
I've honestly never lilked jellies. I have a very visible nail line and I don't like when I apply nail polish and can still see it, even after 3 coats. I suppose jelly sandwiches are fun, but it's not a manicure I gravitate toward when doing my nails. I LOVE a jelly polish over a pearl polish! I think it adds a little something, and like you said you can play around with color combinations!
Ooh yesss LOVE that combo idea!!
I think Tucker and Dale Versus Evil is a great comedy horror movie! Kind of a parody and it is well done and hilarious.
One of my favorite satire style movies!! It's so good and I feel like people don't talk about it enough 😂
YES I was going to say the same thing
Yes! I commented the same thing before looking at the other comments 😂
Oh gosh thank you for the encouragement, I'm so glad you enjoy these reviews 🥰

the jelly sandwich you did with Tango was so beautiful! definitely fall vibes
I love jelly polishes! I'm glad you're always honest! I've gotten a lot of polishes based on your reviews and you haven't steered me wrong yet!
So glad you posted this. I had my eye on them I was debating if I need them 😂
Honestly I think they're worth it! The colors are really pretty and the formula is great.

Love the turquoise water
I love the first jelly sandwich. It makes me think of something you'd see from like painted polish
It definitely has that indie sort of style haha!!
I want an all time faves of ilnp 😭🙌🏽
Ooh yes been meaning to do that!!
I’m a pink jelly girl. I’m in the military so I’m limited to certain colors. I appreciate the shine that comes with jelly so thank you for this review.
I do think pink and beige are my fave jelly colors too tbh 😅
I'm really digging these pink ones!
Me too, my faves!!
Ive really been getting into jellies lately! Using matte top coat on them helped me get past the nail line issue.
Ooh I haven't worn a matte jelly in a while, I'm overdue!!
Tango is definitely my favorite of this collection! Bright summer oranges always give me feel-good vibes 😊
Thank you for swatching ILNP! I've been an ILNP fan for over a decade and its hard to find a routine reviewer now that HoloTaco has taken over. So many swatchers got taken out by Mentality polish. 😢

I feel like jellies on their own are similar to cremes but i love jelly gradients with scattered holo on top 💖
Yesss 100% agree!
My favorite jelly is the OG orly French manicure bare rose. That is my ULTIMATE favorite polish bc it works on my skin tone
Ooh yes the perfect jelly!!!
Hair looks great. Thanks for the swatches.
Thank you! 🤗
Love these colours, they do look very juicy, be interesting to see if they do more jelly polishes in the future
Great review as always, your hair looks really good as well, thank you Kelli ❤xxx
I am obsessed with jelly finish and or consistency I love to see a visible nail line super excited to see these
That turquoise will be great to sandwich ocean-y nail art! I've got some mermaids, tropical fish and coral stamping plates that this would go so well with for a great underwater vibe 🐠🐬🧜♀
Pretty colors and so adorable with those toppers/sandwich thing! LOVE!
Haven’t purchased jellies yet but love this collection, thank you for this video Kelli!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it Donna!

Yesss it's always fun to do sandwiches even if you're not a big fan of the plain jellies haha!!
The turquoise is my favorite! I have a Color Club that might be too close but I love it
I love the look of jelly polishes. But I’ve never purchased one yet. But definitely on my list of polishes to try.
The jelly sandwiches are always awesome and beautiful 🤩🤩 Not a very big fan of jellies but at times they look stunning ❤❤
Even though I'm not loving jellies on their own lately, I still love jelly sandwiches haha!!
I love jellies!
thank you for the swatches! love the uses for jelly polish although i've only ever just done straight jelly manicures haha.
Love the new hair color!
I can't really wrap my brain around jelly polishes. 😬😅
Thank you!! Yeah tbh I am starting to get a little burnt out on them...
I’m super excited to get this collection and play with jelly sandwiches. Also, I absolutely love your hair!!!
love jelly polish & jelly sandwiches! i also appreciate that ilnp has been releasing so many warm polishes lately (‘:

I've got a video on it linked in the cards! It's my most recent nail art video, the gradient compilation 😄
Ooh I would love to see some soft winter milky jellies!
i was hopeful for a purple jelly! would also be great as a tint for stained nails in a single coat, though i guess i could mix the pink and blue but i feel at that point it'd be too opaque to be a tint of "your nail but better and not stained" lol

I like jellies but I wish they had some more neutral or soft colors. Like softer pinks, mauves & beiges
Yesss those are my fave type of jellies tbh!
You know, Kelli’s Orly Wing It would look amazing with that orange jelly sandwich.
Ooh I like that combo idea!!
Does anyone know if ILNP brushes can be switched for kbshimmer brushes?
Thanx in advance!
I wish I loved jellies more, but for some reason I just can’t get too into them. I have Holo Taco’s retro jellies and they’re just collecting dust 😢
these are really cute🎉

How do you prevent your nails from staining? I use a base coat, sometimes two layers and they still stain.
Pls another nail polish thinning 101 video pls
❤️ what info are you looking to learn? I'd be happy to help!!

Which gel polish from Amazon is best at leveling out? Modelones, beetles, or Mefa?
Gel polish should level out as it cures - I don't have any experience with Mefa and I haven't tried Beetles in a few years but I like Modelones a lot!

I always thought horror parody was from people who thought the original horror was bad and not at all scary and that’s them making fun of it. 😂😂😂
I will definitely be getting these jellies. Been wanting to do jelly sandwiches. The choker and necklace combo looks nice.
I just recently got into Stephen King. I’m reading Fairy Tale. Any recommendation for my next Stephen king? There’s so many I don’t know where to go next.
They remind me of old-fashioned Popsicles
Ooh yes! Similar vibe for sure!
Not a parody, but a horror comedy: Tucker & Dale vs. Evil. I see a few people have mentioned it so I’m mentioning it too. :) Very well done and fun! I recommend to anyone who likes horror.
I still need to watch that one!
Thank you, I'll try them! 😊
These are really pretty shades. The jelly sandwiches were shockingly better! Lol
I definitely enjoyed their jelly sandwich capabilities!! 😅
Had to tell my husband about your comment about the sloth movie. It was sooo horrible! 😂
Hahah truly it was tho
These are totally cute. I have a bunch of jellies, I love them but I don’t reach for them….hmmmm.
I feel like jellies are easy to forget about but when I remember to use them I get so excited about the possibilities haha!
My favorite parody horror movie is probably Tucker and Dale vs Evil 💜
The sharknado movies are great to watch with friends and laugh about. Some have gore, but it looks so fake it’s not too gross. 😂
Hi, Kelli! 👋
Hey hey!
I don’t know if you’re seeing this, too, but I get a “Translate to English” option…and it just changes “Kelli” to “Kelly”! 🤨
Is the elevator music outro new? 😄
No, I try to pick a different song each time but it's whatever's playing in the background very softly during the video gets raised to regular volume for the outro 😄
