All of us old cowboys dreamed of doing this as kids. God bless you and your horses. You've put in the education and work needed. Now it's time to execute the journey. I'll be following along.

Thanks for your kind words and prayers. So much goodness and generosity has been shown to me, a stranger, by so many people that I can hardly believe it and am overwhelmed with gratitude. Thanks for your support!
I'm not into horses at all, more of a dairy cow and equipment guy, but I have no idea why this channel doesn't have way more subscribers. Great dude and awesome story! I'll be tuning in for every video! Jake I'll be praying that you have a safe trip for you and your horses and the trip succeeds in meeting your goals.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful journey with us!! Love the fact that you are using the Mustangs! They are very endurance capable! I always wanted one, but never got to have one. Such beautiful horses! Stay strong and safe in your journey! Listen to your body and your horses and you will make your full journey no matter what the time is supposed to be. A few extra days will be welcomed in the end ❤ stay safe out there!
Thanks for all these awesome videos! I love what you're doing for the mustangs and am grateful you're taking us all along on the adventure of a lifetime!
So much beautiful scenery caught in this video. I’m glad you made it down safely from the coiffed area and Eddie’s legs are okay after the hole. I’m looking forward to next week’s video.

I just found your channel. It’s so wonderful to see someone living my dream. Like everyone else, life got in the way and now that I’m in a wheelchair (horrific trucking accident) that dream has been put on the shelf. However, that’s ok. I now enjoy watching everyone else’s adventures here on RUclips 😊❤. I can’t wait to see the next video. May the good Lord watch over you and your horses for safe journeys.
Thank you so much for your kind words and support. I love your positive attitude and while our journeys may be different, I know the Lord is watching over both of us.
🙂 Hi Jake, thanks for another video update. 35 miles about equals my longest distance day travelling horseback. But you do a great job pace wise. I know I don't have to you that though. You know. I'll catch you on the next one, keep it up...... Eric
What an outstanding, adventurous journey! You certainly will not miss any wonderous sights, at this leisurely pace. The bond you develop with these 3 beautiful creatures will be priceless. Enjoy these travel moments, in the future, all will be an amazing memory.
Hi Jake! I wanted to congratulate you on the three page write-up in Deseret News/the Digest! It was GREAT. The story of course is all about you and the year of the Mustangs. Love your latest post! Stay strong and true. Happy Thanksgiving Week!
💭 Bernice Ende--> Starting at age 50 she solo rode over 30,000 miles across the U.S., Canada & Europe. "Lady Longrider" is her book. There's a documentary film about her incredible life too.
@nicolaxoxo1 Her first ride she borrowed a horse from the ranch she worked for. Bernice was usually really strapped for $, so she bought cheap "problem" horses. She was a horse trainer & had ferring skills, so she knew how to get a horse ready for long rides & maintain their feet on trail. (She did her own shoeing on her long rides.) Bernice lost one of her horses when she was riding through Texas ( Her pack horse fatally kicked her riding horse & she had to put the mare down. Then she started walking with her pack horse back to her home state of Montana, when a Texas rancher gave her a gelding. This horse had issues that she had to correct, but she put several hundred miles on this paint before retiring him.) Her final 3 horses were Fjords which she grew to really love. She said this breed was ideal for long distance riding, & she wouldn't go back to any other horse breed. A Fjord breeder stopped her on one of her rides & liked what she was all about & gave her her first Fjord mare. There's a good documentary film that was made about Bernice Ende, " Lady Long Rider" I believe is the title. ( Correct title by Wren Winfield, Prime Video has this film.) Unfortunately, Bernice only wrote one autobiographical book before her death, but it's definitely worth reading--> " Lady Long Rider." Ende is a real inspirational shero for anyone thinking about going after a late in life "goofy" dream.
