    Ok. But what is it?

Does this apply to any time indepedent if the system is in equilibrium or not?

one question, why is it still called "hypothesis"? has it not been shown to be true?

i guess because it is an assumption that may not always hold true in every system? In some cases, systems may not explore all possible microstates due to constraints or dynamics that prevent certain configurations from being accessible

Excellent. But some of this sounds like lawyers talking.
The concept should be simplified - in layman's language.

Language and definition are of utmost important in science. Simple language just does not cut it!
