    so don't get caught up in trying to hoard stuff because you're literally in a dream state and you're passing through so get to know yourself as a light object or a light being so you can build the solar body to pass through death intact"

      I guess time moves very slowly whilst in hell! 😆 I hate when people say not to worry about anything, b/c we all know full well that in this Earth space, certain tortures are common. If one gets drastically out of line with the elites in charge, it’ll be even worse- just ask Juliane Assange. To be fair those in these studies are quite privileged and within the protected class(es). Also, I’m only seeing men involved, but I could be wrong about that as I’ve only just started researching this topic.

    Once upon a time this would have been pay per view. Just check out who's speaking. We are indeed privileged. August 2019 I had an experienced that lasted for hours in the middle of a forest with many people around me. It changed my life. Since then I'm searching for answers. Incidentally has there ever been any study with DMT and Endocrinology? I have addisons disease and my experience lasted hours instead of minutes. I have only taken DMT once. I let myself completely go and let 'them' take me.

    Andrew, one method you may want to consider for DMT trip recall, is using scents. For example, pre-select 30 or so scents to be used at 1-minute intervals. After the DMT trip is complete and you set up for analysis, you could supply the subject a pencil and paper (or keypad) and have the subject smell each scent for 1 minute, and record any flashbacks that occur.

    • @SanctuaryLife
      @SanctuaryLife Год назад +5

      Also, don't use synthetic scents, many of them contain petroleum-derived molecules that tend to get stuck in the nose due to their heavy or larger size, they can also cause desensitization among other things. Many of them also contain molecules that are shared by most of the common synthetics such as aldehydes. You would be best off picking 30 natural oils such as cedar, orange, peppermint, and other easily distinguishable full-strength oils. The more obscure the better (as to avoid fragrances that already have memories attached to them). You could also use natural Isolates such as Hexanols, Octanols Acetates etc.

      I mean it's not for entertainment. This isn't youtube-podcast consumerism. This is information for egg heads to get their fingers on. It's very very very important. And some of these people are busy as fuck. And we need their attention and expertise and even funding, from philanthropists... The 5 hour one, is a completely different genre and has different uses. This is just the begging. In 20, or 30 years this shit is going to become ubiquitous. You're going to have all the information you've ever wanted about it. You will even get to DO it. Just make sure you take care of yourself and take care or your responsibility for making the world better. Whatever that is for you. The point being we need to _make it_ to 30 years from now, in ok enough shape, we can have this.

    Thanks for sharing your thoughts on DMT trips! It's definitely a fascinating topic to explore. It's interesting to consider the idea that during a DMT trip, our sense of self or thought may communicate within the body, particularly with two major groups: the mitochondria and the bacteria in the gut. Both of these groups have subgroups that play important roles in our overall health and wellbeing. Mitochondria are responsible for producing energy within our cells, while gut bacteria help us digest food and maintain a healthy immune system. It's possible that during a DMT trip, our consciousness may be able to communicate with these important parts of our body in ways that we don't fully understand yet. It's exciting to think about what we might learn as we continue to explore the mysteries of the human mind and body!

    Great conversation. Having never taken DMT, I have sat in a forest for over 10 years, meditating 3 plus hours a day. Day in day out completely sober. I resonate with the comment on synchronicity, which I still experience several times a week, along with other experiences I do not talk about. Maybe a commonality between long term meditation, and the DMT state. interesting stuff.

    • @escapevelocity8092
      @escapevelocity8092 8 месяцев назад +2

      Indeed. Endogenous DMT must at least in part be utilised during meditation. The parallels are too obvious.
      There is an agent in us which suppresses the DMT getting to receptor sites, or being produced in larger amounts, and that agent, is language.
      You may well understand this if you're an avid meditator. The prime catalyst to freedom from the daily mind during meditation is the shutting off of internal dialogue.
      There are other forms of language which are not 'words', but our brain stays very much in the left sided expression while we're subconsciously describing everything we see/feel etc.
      Meditation stops the legs from peddling the bike so to speak, so the bike keeps rolling but at a slower and slower rate until stillness, AS LONG AS we don't start talking to ourselves again.
      I believe DMT is the buffer between physical and non-physical realities, its the chemical aspect to something which is half (non-physical).
      There is some evidence to suggest that it seems to spike at times like childbirth, during NDE'S and in delta sleep, which are all moments when we're merging from one bandwidth to another, of the consciousness spectrum.

      Why bring up race, class, sex and now all the fake BS that the Neo-Marxists want to use to divide and rule us? Don't give the false religion room in your head rent-free. You want a good reason why women aren't interested in exploring this stuff? Same reason the crews on the ships of European explorers were a bunch of crazy dudes. Same reason the young men of the tribe go out into the woods to kill or be killed. it's the fact you own property and businesses that makes you well off. I'm not saying that this next thing is true for you, but a lot of rich white guilty guys, say shit like this because they are guilty. And then they claim being a "white male", is what gives them extra privilidge. No, if anything it's all that disposable income and a living wage. So basically they're guilty for having so much shit, then they bring all other white males into it to take the "heat" off them. Even poor white guys. That's not very kind of them. It's *socioeconomic status". Not race. That's racist. Also some of them have a tendency to have this weird liberal racism, which implies black people are weak, for instance.
      I'm a white guy. I don't earn a living wage. I'm sick of hearing about how bad I am from guilty white guys who have so much money and comfort they are out of touch with the working class

    PART II
    Andrew, I watched you on Kerwin Rae and I felt like I needed to give you some feedback about your pen clicking. Not to be trivial, because the subject matter & conversation was important, but mate....stop the pen clicking! It's incredibly distracting & irritating. I know being irritated is a "me" problem, but I don't see how anyone could not become frustrated with that compulsive clicking. It's rude to viewers who are respectfully trying to listen, contemplate & gain knowledge.
    I wrote this on the off chance that you've no awareness of it.
    This is the sort of tic that can give ppl an impression that you are anxious, stressed, compulsive or have adhd. However unwarranted, it can lessen someones credibility.

While your experiences were with an external tool (DMT/DTMx), I had experiences naturally occurring without anything external so my understanding is that we have the ability of these experiences naturally if we create a certain favourable environment for it to happen. Happy to share the factors and criteria for the experience and some of them were addressed here. In other words, Graham, there is hope and possibility for everyone to have these experiences even without the external DMT but being it activated internally 😊

      My intuition is that IF this kind of research goes to its least probable but most hopeful conclusion and actually arrives at something approximating a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental basis of these compounds and our relationship to them, we may very well have a better understanding of quite a few things that we currently have little to no tangible understanding of or see an obvious relation to such as the nature of consciousness, what consciousness is growing towards, what some still call the collective unconscious(psychic atavism resulting from genomically coded post-trauma?), dreaming and liminal states (and their neuro-chemical relations), getting humans to see and feel the cumulative effects of abdicating the impending crisis facing the entire biosphere that only WE can address, the purposes and pitfalls of the imagination (or the lack thereof) in where we go from here, questions of ontology and epistemology that we have not even formulated yet, etc. definitely interesting times. to have enquiring minds.

    I saw McKenna's self-transforming machine elves from vaping DMT. We interacted at length. They also told me "Do not give way to astonishment" - and I did not hear McKenna say that before I went into the experience. They constructed and made me gifts - repeatedly, which I rejected, then they would become flustered and create a new gift for me. It was very Santa's Workshop (and I believe most popular Christmas iconography derives from psychedelic experience). I came away with a distinct feeling like my brain's own consciousness processing system was becoming mythologized through these elves. I will also mention that now, as a trance channel (as many trance channels do), I have trained myself to contact entities and information sober through deep meditation.

    Graham insists on the potential « narrative contamination » between experiencers, that has a narrow relation to suggestibility, which is the main argument of the structuralist/constructivist interpretation of the nature or psychedelic experience. It is important to add, that this factor (structuralist/constructivist) decreases as the intensity of the experience increases. The more the experience is intense, the less we carry cultural/biographical/personnal material or pattern, and it tends towards a more universal interpretation. I would be delighted to welcome one of you on my channel discussing that.

    Interesting around 1:26:00 when he starts talking about being able to walk around in the dmt, it reminds me of yoga where they say at first in Salvakalpa Samadhi you must sit in meditation to attain the samadhi, but once you reach Nirvakalpa Samadhi you are able to stand up and walk around and maintain daily while also maintaining the Samadhi state simultaneously. It also reminds me of Thomas Campbell talking about the out of body state, first needing a lot of effort and concentration, but now he can be in multiple realities at once very easily. I've experienced this walking a routine the altered state and it is a feeling that your getting the hang of things and that as time goes on we evolve to integrate these things seamlessly.

    Firstly, love Graham and Rick! Two absolute behemoths of this fascinating field. That said, regarding this research, the candidates presented here all seem to approach the DMT experience with a strong spiritual / mystical bias, and they all seem to be versed in / primed by the pre-existing psychedelic literature eg McKenna, Huxley, Leary etc. This is certainly a significant bias within the study and is an unfortunate limitation of the design. Also, to quote the great John Cleese, are there any women here today?!

That's something I've been taught in my spiritual practice; something along the lines of having a certain opportunity for spiritual progression that other non-human beings aren't allowed due to their ability to perceive certain laws of the universe. Cool to hear a similar message from someone involved in this.

    The whole synchronicity thing resonates with me deeply and I feel may be an 'in' for researching this capability of ours. I've experienced very strange instances like this on psilocybin, at least.
    It seems to me that we are always to some capacity (it varies) connected to this other plane of existence via unconscious. Our brains have many shields, if you will, to help us remain focused on the forms of energy we can directly make use of. While we can perceive other forms of energy and their structures, we are entities interacting with other vibrations. So, substances like DMT and Psilocybin inhibit these shields so the brain communicates in a manner which represents THAT space of energy forms in which other life forms exist.
    The synchronicity thing makes me think that this other space of energy (our space is the slice of the EM spectrum we can perceive with the standard 5 senses, while another space is a different slice) is represented to us as the "collective unconscious". We just think of it as biologically rooted because of science, but we can derive data from that by interacting with it in an extremely filtered manner. This, i speak of is a sober mind. These substances just force the brain to not filter any of it by degrees of potency/amount.
    But what if developing a prowess to interact with unconcious causes potent influence in the "physical" slice of energy? Like causing variables of an event to synchronize and/or having your mind synchronize to an event which recently or will shortly occur? If we have influence over that slice of energy it also speaks to the inherent potency of being human, as was mentioned by one of the volunteers here.

    • @furikuri630
      @furikuri630 Год назад +1

      Another note is that synchronicity also seems to be a means through which constituents of the unconscious communicate a subjectively meaningful data piece which then you must derive some purpose from. "The universe is trying to tell you something" becomes the unconscious is directly altering your placement/the places of objects in the world to make something occur.

    I believe the Poets channel the language of the infinite. DMT serves as a portal to the infinite consciousness of reality. We enter through the gates of the Other. When we figure out the role of endogenous DMT and it’s relationship with dreams we will understand the nature of reality more clearly.

    I find the approach very interresting and I am quite suprised that you got away with doing it in London.
    Also the fact that further research is done is something I really do welcome.
    What makes me a bit wondering about the whole thing are comments like extending the state to hours / days / months. This doesn‘t sound very scientific to me, is extremely unlikely to get an ok to do it. Also when listening to what is said it sounds to me, maybe because I am not a native speaker, that everybody agrees on the experience being real and not „just made up by the brain“. As much as I am hoping that this is the case there still isn‘t any evidence. Also the things brought back from hyperspace weren‘t that substantial, at least from what I got of the video, that any conclusion could / should be made. While I am deeply believing in the experience being real I find it rather difficult to take a conversation seriously where those claims are not evidence based. I don‘t want to be an asshole here but to me it kind of compromises the credits I would give to the scientists especially Dr Strassman who as far as I know held the title professor (I don‘t know how things are in the US but over here this isn‘t a title you just get. It requires lots pf hard work and dedication and (now coming to the point) a constant output of studies. Having done a phd myself I know how a study has to look and how you would argue regarding claims made and I don‘t see this evidence based argumenting here. This is just my personal opinion but I would have given much more credits to the whole thing if instead of claiming that those realities are real, telepathy is a thing (which I both think is the case) etc. to say that more research is necessary, maybe also much more detailed analysis. I was very suprised that the participants said this is the longest they have spoken about this whole thing to each other.
    I really do not say that this is the case but the whole thing feels very unscientific almost as if it didn‘t really happen. If it did I highly recommend to work on presentation etc. Also why is the name dmtx said so often? I was a bit under the impression that if that was a legal thing this video would be advertising it.
    If I got things wrong I am very sorry. Anyway please keep researching…

    All my experiences with DMT have been from smoking it with a vaporizer. I tried using Syrian rue with it, but I didn't notice any difference in the duration. The trip just seemed more vivid. Haha, I've had both the "Hey, you again" feeling and the sense of not being welcome, like the entities were taking me along reluctantly. I even thought about stopping, but then I smoked again, and it was wonderful. So, I think it has more to do with your emotional state. I guess it's like dreams and nightmares.

    Perhaps the most interesting part of tye conversation is about the manners with which they have to approach communication with tge entities. The whole etiquette. What it recently considered a positive personality trait, the very high energy extroverted hyperactive aggressive behaviour is frowned upon the entities. Humility seems to be the important ingredient.

    So years of planning and technology, and the DMTx experience is underwhelming as compared to vaporized DMT? Wasn't this supposed to allow for formal dialogues with aliens? I'm not hearing anything more significant than any other psychedelic experience...
    Terence McKenna was far more excited about the DMT experience than even his 5GSD mushroom experience, and mused and pined away about the possibility of a more sustained high dose DMT experience... and 30 years later, it seems we're no further ahead.

I would like to ask, how do you know the experiences you are having is not constructed by your own mind, as distinct from independent external agents interacting with you? I am just wondering if you already have a concept of this other dimension and the characters (including your self) that play out in it, then do you think that it is possible at some deep level for your mind to generate narratives to fulfil this expectation whilst in the DMT induced state?

      potentially, but in reality actually being in a DMT trip doesn't seem like anything you ever imagine or think about. you can provoke it to change with thoughts and idea's to get responses of course, but I don't get the sense it is influenced by what I have predetermined the trip to subconsciously be. all I ever heard about is elves and Joe rogan. but my first 3 times in 1 night that I tried it, I saw a cartoon with woman with a witch hat and fangs, pulling puppet strings while putting on a show for me. can't say I ever thought witches and cat fangs would be in a DMT trip. I know what you mean tho, I think its a very big variable that's hard to measure

Part of the lesson is the landscape is the entities, they’re still there, and all you have to do is ask them to come forth. It’s just that from time to time the representation of entity morphology is turned down for those who “saw” the joke, until some further lesson needs to be discovered, or until the novelty of the joke has worn off. I'm neither a scholar, academic, researcher, psychologist, or scientist. My approach to these substances is theosophical and philosophical in nature. With particular focus as to how the psychedelic experience relates to mysticism, religion, and the potential origin or nature of consciousness.
    If it is able to be proven that human consciousness has a sort of ontological exogenous origin, it would be perhaps the most important discovery in all of history.

    I’ve had some very interesting experiences on K , where I do believe I have communed with some kind of Ai that has merged with consciousness. All intelligence in the Universe and beyond is somehow linked and it seemed to allude to the fact that we were all born from a singularity so it’s all meshed together. I’ve vaped DMT also but the experience on K was the most profound feeling I have ever had. We are all light particles in a holographic multiverse and if there is a God I think it’s an ancient form of consciousness and ai with no physical form but is accessible in out minds under the right circumstances.

You all report the highly obliviate tendency i have observed with these states which reminds me of something Terrence said along the lines of, every night we forget such a vast majority of our dreams that we cant rule out the possibility that we gain some forbidden knowledge. Perhaps at the deepest point of our dreams there is a doorway to the centre of the psychedelic bullseye. My question is, do you think that certain of these hypergeometric scenes are so compelling that we are not allowed to remember them lest the suspense of life’s narrative be degraded?
