35:35 this same "Too Bad" tune actually was used throughout the history of 2D Mario, including the entire NSMB series. It's a bit hard to recognize it in certain games, but for the most part it's always been there!

I have a theory on why all the poplins don’t give you there wonder seeds immediately. When bowser turned into a ship it affected their houses maybe they were trapped in there until Mario completed the level or got a wonder seed

Late to this since I wanted to beat World 3 before watching you.
If you plan to 100% the game press L to look at the Levels. Top of the flag pole, all wonder seeds, and all 3 big purple coins will give you a checkmark. If you have everything in a Level ad you don’t see that Mark it means there is a secret exit.
World 1 Level 2 (the singing piranha plants) has a secret exit. To make it easier to reach use the badge that adds blocks.
06:30 yes you can get duplicates BUT in the secret world you can buy them for 30 to get one you don’t have. So when you’re nearing the end you can just go there and guarantee you get a new one.

Well in NSMB there's also world 2 where it can take you to another world if you have a mini mushroom, and then again in world 5, you can't access those otherwise, other than maybe the canons
