How about the possible heir to the throne Robert baratheons bastard son Gendry, who presumably spent the entirety of season 4 still rowing the boat they stuck him in on season 3.
Blabby Babber Gendry is not the heir to the throne as he is an illegitimate bastard and according to the lore bastards can't inherit. Thats why it was a big deal for Ramsey to be named a Bolton. Also in the books Rob named Jon a Stark and his heir before the red wedding in case he died without a son

Brienne vs the Hound is a non-existing battle in the book; it totally makes no sense in the series if you consider that she was looking after Sansa, or Arya
Chapter 11: White walkers = bad. Chapter 12: Your friends are probably gonna betray you. Chapter 13: If you're a spy/assassin, it'll will end badly for you (unless you're that badass faceless assassin or Arya). Chapter 14: If you're an imp, good luck. Chapter 15: Don't get involved in politics.
Lena Storm well, Rickon's 3 years old. Plus given the death rate of the active characters, maybe he's right to lay low until he fully masters walking and talking
GLL98 I fully expected him to be picked up by one of the northern lords by now so they can press his claim against Boltons while he plays with his wolf.
Season 5: Half the season will be Hotpie making pies. Then the pies turn into doughy monsters and he builds an army to take over the throne. All hail hotpie.
RoboBoomStick However, through cunning intrigue and his silver tongue Hodor manages to convince everyone at the kingsmood to crown him as king of the White Walkers. Season ends with his army of undead yelling his name as they storm King's Landing.
he even says that she is in merine and says to the people of westeros there's a rogue dragon on the loose so watch the skies. turns out that yous twos are the idiots.
why would the people of westeros need to worry about rogue dragons when the dragons are very far away and still just barely big enough to make it far away? yes drogon is reaching that point but i dont think anyone would argue with the fact that he didnt get too far away. so saying westeros should be worried is implying that shes there... especially for people who dont know that MEEREEN isnt in westeros. idk, just a falsehood by omission which in an idiots guide is bound to happen. doesnt mean we are not right and that its not still annoying.
Kara Meli Sharp That bothered me too. Not to mention Mereen is in like the middle of Essos, ridiculously far from Westeros, even far from places like Pentos and Braavos. But whatever, tiny nitpick I suppose.
he is not lord since he was banished....his father disowned him....hence he is a sir however, after the pardon, he could have been a lord but he didn't accepted the pardon
McMagic15 Ser Jorah Mormont. First of his name. King of the nice guys, the like a brothers and the just friends. Lord of the unrequited, and protector of the Friend zone.
Your red hair reminds me of my first love... Oh let's talk about her! She shot three arrows in my chest then was murder by a child in cold blood...... Was it the child murder stuff? Yeah......
I still dont buy Shae's betrayal, the show always portrayed her as really loyal and in love with Tyrion. She vowed to protect Sansa and then 10 secs later she hates her? The actress argued with the showrunners about this issue, but they told her to fk off.
Jim Lee they made shae that way in the show and it really annoyed me. she was a hateful and jealous bitch in the books and only liked tyrion because he was rich (and really hated sansa). when it seemed like he would die she did not want to loose her new status und started fucking tywin instead.
Nils Engman That's pretty likely, but still no reason to talk about the "My Lion"-part, which isn't really neccessary for the trial and nobody but Tyrion and Shae knows. She could have achieved the same effect with a made-up story. The only difference would have been that such a story wouldn't have hurt Tyrion.
Good recap, just one little correction: You warned the people of Westeros that Drogon (the black dragon) has gone rogue, but they're on the continent of Essos.
Rafael Diaz jedirulz123 Do you guys realize how far Mereen even is from the Narrow sea? It's the equivalent of flying across Westeros THREE TIMES before he would even actually reach Westeros. So no...Westeros is in no danger of Drogon.
Well, the Whitewalker is easy. He eventually discovered the meaning of Christmas and his heart grew three times its size. But because cardiomegaly (large heart) is bad, he eventually dies of a heart attack. Life is hard north of The Wall
Something that has always bothered me about Tyrions' trial, why didn't Jamie volunteer to be his champion?!?! There's NO WAY Cercei and Tywin would've let the Mountain kill the only Heir to Casterly Rock.
Hello, I have been watching Screen Junkies shows for some time and i want to congratulate you guys on making one of the best and honest show on youtube. I can only hope that one day I would be as enlightened as you guys were and start a project as this one. Also I would like some of the stuff Hal is smoking.
I'm curious to find out if The Hound is really dead. I don't think he is. I wouldn't know because I haven't read the books, but I hope he isn't because he's my third favorite character. Plus I'm curious to know what happened to Gendry.
Great recap! I honestly forgot about some of the stuff that was mentioned. And I do want to hear more about the white walker and the baby I believe that he / this plot point will make a huge impact on the rest of the season.
•John Snow dies •Arya goes blind •Catelyn Stark is alive •Daenerys flys on her dragon •Sandor Clegane is alive •Cersei gets arrested and a trail by combat •Cersei walks through kings landing naked •Daarrio Naharis is actually Euron Greyjoy and has a horn that can tame dragons Oh yeah spoiler
I suppose the most significant thing you all missed was everything that went on with Roose Bolton and Ramsey Snow. I'll keep it spoiler free but it winds up being important.
You left out something VERY important but easily overlooked. The Spider left with The Imp. His plan was to just smuggle Tyrion Lannister out of Westeros as thanks for his heroics at Black Water. When he heard those bells ring, he realized Tyrion did something so bad, that anyone who helped him would end up tortured (for Tyrion's location) and beheaded. He knew he wasn't safe in King's Landing and boarded that ship right next to Tyrion's box. Now, King's Landing has lost much of its spies. The queen regent will hunt them to the ends of the planet. The only way for either of them to be safe is with the protection of an army; say, maybe daenerys targaryen's army? Cue season 5 trailer!!
The white walker that turns babes into blue, is the nightsking. A legendary figure who everyone thought was dead for thousends of years ago. A king that rules all whitewalkers The nightsking together with daario naharis(aka euron greyjoy) and gerion lannister (a lannister that everyone thought was dead, becouse , he supposedly sailed into valeriA to retrieve house lannisters family sword, and hasen't returned, hes tyrions uncle. But they fixed it pretty quick when G.R.R.M called them furios about this spoiler
You think it makes it more cool that Jojen is not alive in the show, they didn't do this because the show is somehow more harsh, they did it because the show watcher have consistently shown a smaller attention span than the book readers
Brennan Kaisen Oh and, "Did you want to hear more about dickless wonder Theon? Too bad, the who writers hate complexity so much, they have completely retconned everything to do with the Iron islands, they'll now be known as the forrester islands so the video game can bring them more money.":
Not so much the attention span, I believe it's more the 1 week wait between the episodes. It's easy to miss things when a story line is this tangled up.
Actually, no one really believes he is actually dead. I just can't imagine Jon (who would be perfect to be the ICE from the Song of Ice and Fire as well as being one part of Daenerys' "the dragon has three heads" prophecy) dying with a red priestess and a wolf to warg into around - something has to happen but he sure as hell won't just die
EnCey2 #Spoiler Use this tag! Also: it's not confirmed that he is dead. Characters have survived worse in this series and comming back from the dead is also not out of question.
Idk, I think he's to integral to the story to die. He's a POV character in every book but AFFC, and his last chapter ends with "he didn't feel the fourth blade. Only the cold..." strangely enough, I think the "..." at the end is the most conclusive evidence that be well survive or at least be resurrected.
"They didn't find his body yet"? it's not like he wandered into the woods and didn't return, he suffered the ides of March by his brothers in black. And honestly I can't think of a way he can survive so many direct stab wounds. Not to say that the red woman, who has taken quite an interest in him, won't bring him back, because after all, his watch has ended.
When we almost had that Stark reunion between Bran and Jon I was screaming at my screen for Bran to just yell out to Jon, and when Bran decided to leave, without seeing him, I curled up in a ball and cried
***** No he isn't.. this is a popular theory. Jojen fate is unknown at the end of ADWD. It is likely Bran ate some of his blood to get his powers. filthy casuals vekkokal
Alexander Jobson I just don't like that she as to give up her identity to what is basically a cult. She can't do what she wants and it feels so final like the nights watch where if your part of them you'll never be a part of anything else. I didnt want that for arya
***** But she does have greater control over who lives and who dies. And in the show, I think that she will be given greater power over life and death. Jaqen H'ghar does kill those guards in Harrenhal. It looks like the faceless men have more freedom in the show than in the books.
Nils Engman Perhaps, Never the less their mysterious. I just don't like the whole cultist thing. I think if arya just stayed in Westeros I would like her story more but whatever
I love how they set up Thor 1. Remember how Loki was a frost giant baby? He's the baby we see turned at the end of this past season. Now Odin just needs to come in and take him away when the Asgardians eventually fight the frost giants (white walkers) back into Yodenheim (GoT world after the White Walkers freeze it over). BOOM! Ultimate fan (and incidentally genius billionaire playboy philanthropist's) theory/tie in.
My favorite scene you didn't include would probably be the scene where Tyrion and Bronn meet Oberyn in the Brothel or when Daenerys arrives in Meereen and Daario kills that dude spouting Monty Python. I wouldn't call Margaery Tyrell a gold digger. She just wants to be Queen. Also, her family is pretty rich. Probably richer than the Lannisters with their mines being empty and them being in debt to the Iron Bank. This was good though, Thanks!
Margery and Joffery's brother have the sweetest relationship? Try Sam and Gilly! You also didn't mention that by the end of the season Sam magically grows some balls
That moment where the white walker turned the baby into a white walker was pretty huge, actually, even for book readers. None of that was mentioned in the books, and it's the first indication of where the white walkers themselves come from.
Should include Bronn's story. He has had the best luck of any character in the series. Starting as a simple sellsword and eventually became a knight and nobleman set to inherit a castle. Pretty soon he may be on the iron throne.
"Holy fraking flashbacks Batman! What about Big Varys and Tiny Tyrion after the death of skewering of the crappiest father, Tywin?" "Well Robin, who can say? It's like that story thread was put in a box to float on the ocean of plot and we won't know where they end up until that box hits land." "Amazing analyzing analogies Batman!" "Yes Robin, when a Bat hears about a missing story thread he has no choice but screech his way to locate its meaning." - "Ha, ha, ha...!" -"Ah, ha! Ha, ha, ha!"
In Germany, Oberyn Martel is dubbed by the guy who also dubbed Barney Stinson (and a lot of other Charackters). Now imagine Oberyn before the battle, saying "It´s gonna be legen - wait for it - dary"...
How about the possible heir to the throne Robert baratheons bastard son Gendry, who presumably spent the entirety of season 4 still rowing the boat they stuck him in on season 3.
Row row row your boat,
Gendry our true king.
By the time you get to land,

Joshua Cleveland Sadly nobody cares for Rickon. Even in the other seasons he doesn't realy do anything.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
That's because they gave her more personality in the show, whereas in the book it's kinda clear that she does not care for Tyrion at all.
Jim Lee they made shae that way in the show and it really annoyed me. she was a hateful and jealous bitch in the books and only liked tyrion because he was rich (and really hated sansa). when it seemed like he would die she did not want to loose her new status und started fucking tywin instead.
Cersei probably promised to give her the Theon Greyjoy treatment if she didn't testify against him.

HOW ABOUT THE IMPLICATIONS THAT THE MOUNTAIN IS GOING TO GET TURNED INTO A FUCKING FRANKENSTEIN'S MONSTER THING? That was dope.
He just dies and is being delivered to dorne
well is supposedly to be the white knight but we dont know for sure or is it? last thing i read it was a rumor in the books only
goliath frosch ummm no he doesn't. He becomes robert strong.

I wonder if Ser Robert Strong has to say anything about that... but the guy never speaks...

TOP TEN HOTTEST GIRLS IN GAME OF THRONES
10. Ashae Greyjoy (Man Beater)
9. Shae (Tyrions Filthy WHOOOOOOOERE)
8. Yggrite (Spear Boobs)
7. Ellaria Sand (Oberyn's Baby Machine)
6. Sansa Stark (Shes old enough)
5. Cercei Lannister
4. Daenerys Stormborn Targaryen
3. Melisandre (Demon baby giving bitch a.k.a Stannis Baratheon's PIMP)
2. Margaery (Ultimate Widow)
1. Missandei (Daenerys' Translator)
also in sansa...the black colour really suits her...
the dresses she wore in king's landing made her look bland
Margaery needs to be no. 1
I know she's dead, but Ros was pretty hot too
sebastian galoria I Find it offensive that Oberyn Martell (aka Red Viper) is not number one on this list.
sebastian galoria What about Robb's wife? She was gorgeous.
Is it just me or is Margaery the hottest character in all of Game of Thrones?
they are pretty even.
Margary is overrated danerys ftw
***** hodor´s pretty hot too
***** Personally I prefer Margaery but Daenerys pretty hot too. But I don't think Emilia Clarke fits in blonde hair.
I prefer Sophie Turner over all of them...

* I think that rogue-dragon-warning is currently more relevant for the people of *Essos* than Westeros... ;-)
Oberyn's cry when the mountain was piercing his eyes was excruciating! I almost forgot about that but now again I got reminded. I won't sleep today!
Best part was when Hodor said Hodor.
They could've done a better job with Mance Rayder, he's a charisma vacuum in the show. In the book Mance was the man.
Have you ever watch Game of Thrones and wander WHY DIDN´T THEY DYE DAENERYS EYEBROWS?!
It kind of bothers me.
Alexander Davies Castle or give her purple contacts so she could look like her character in the book....
admrob yesss, that too, thank you. Also, her develop in season 4 could've been much better.
Ditto
Emilia Clarke was suppose to have purple contact lenses. But apparently it interfered with her acting so she had to stopped using them

That baby be like... I love you father White Walker. Could be worse... at least it's not a Kentucky Fried Corpse!
Jojen is not alive in the books. he was eaten by Bran.
BeqaSamx Beqa Are you for real!!!!!
vekkokal lol no. he's joking.
***** i'm not. you should read this theory.
***** No he isn't.. this is a popular theory. Jojen fate is unknown at the end of ADWD. It is likely Bran ate some of his blood to get his powers. filthy casuals
vekkokal
Thanks +CGagnon5
8:03 SHOT THROUGH THE HEART AND YOU'RE TO BLAME, YOU GIVE LOOOOOVE A BAD NAME!!!!!
Spoilers in this discussion
Did anyone else find Arya's story really disapointing once she reached Bravos
Alexander Jobson I just don't like that she as to give up her identity to what is basically a cult. She can't do what she wants and it feels so final like the nights watch where if your part of them you'll never be a part of anything else. I didnt want that for arya
Except that she will be able to sacrifice any- and everyone to the Many Faced God. And that includes Kings and Queens.
Nils Engman but she cant. She killed someone she wanted to and she lost her eyes because of it. She can only kill who she's told to
***** But she does have greater control over who lives and who dies.
Stannisthemannis
My favorite scene you didn't include would probably be the scene where Tyrion and Bronn meet Oberyn in the Brothel or when Daenerys arrives in Meereen and Daario kills that dude spouting Monty Python.
I wouldn't call Margaery Tyrell a gold digger. She just wants to be Queen. Also, her family is pretty rich. Probably richer than the Lannisters with their mines being empty and them being in debt to the Iron Bank.
This was good though, Thanks!
u forgot to me ntion teh delicius lemon caeks tht sansa lieks
Oberyn vs. The Mountain was one of the most epic fights I've seen, up there with Hector vs. Achilles.
you kept saying westeros...
ZiePe Yup, that annoyed me too.
Jamie's good guy streak kicking in, is the most accurate description ever
No one likes the Bran parts
Insert Name Here I liked it when he fell from that tower.
I like Bran's parts. If you know what I mean
I do.
Insert Name Here no one likes them, but they are however important. Bran may be able to affect the past using his magic.
Insert Name Here The part where Bran wakes up is one of the best written parts in the book.
The attack on the wall was one of the greatest moments in all of TV. It was movie quality TV.
Excelente resumen. Listo para ver la nueva temporada. ¡Gracias!
Nerdy Nitpick!: 7:34 that rogue dragon is in Essos not Westerns
this is a great and funny way to refresh one's memory before starting s5, thanks screen junkies!
The return of Hot Pie was the coolest cameo ever in Game of Thrones!
If one more spoiler comes out of your **** mouth, I'm going to have to eat every chicken in this room.
That melon line made me chuckle. Good stuff
"John and his Crow Bro's!" What a statement!
"Starks, everyone's favourite family."
LOL! They're not even in my top five!
Stannis charge on the wall was awesome!
Margery and Joffery's brother have the sweetest relationship? Try Sam and Gilly! You also didn't mention that by the end of the season Sam magically grows some balls
Ser Pounce - The undercat - Hear me *MEOW*
Finally something I love that you guys aren't ripping on! xD
Just watched this as a recap and am now ready for Season 5! Very useful video, this, IF you've seen this season already.
That moment where the white walker turned the baby into a white walker was pretty huge, actually, even for book readers. None of that was mentioned in the books, and it's the first indication of where the white walkers themselves come from.
btw rickon is sailing on a bout with edmund tully, blackfish, Walder frey and gendry
I've been waiting so long for this!!!!!!!!!!
Spring is coming, which means Winter is coming! xD
HAHA i just saw Hal on community "are you on coke?"
This is best thing I have ever seen this week
You guys forgot Yara Greyjoy trying to get her brother back, and how that shit ended hilariously.
MORE DIREWOLF ACTION!
Ghost was so awesome when he ripped the backstabbing crow into pieces!
Normally, I would say something snarky about Joffrey's long-awaited demise, but that's beneath me...
Ahem. The rogue dragon is flying around Essos, not Westeros.
Should include Bronn's story. He has had the best luck of any character in the series. Starting as a simple sellsword and eventually became a knight and nobleman set to inherit a castle. Pretty soon he may be on the iron throne.
Always useful a quick reminder. Thanks!
I can't believe how much I forgot with last season, I'm going to have to binge watch it again before the new season starts lol
Honestly I got cold shivers when I heard "Valar Morghulis". from Jaqen H'ghar and then Arya.AGAIN
"You'll never walk again... but you will fly"
Foreshadowing for Bran controlling the Dragons?
what if I tell you what happens in the next four episodes of season 5.. do I win a shirt ? LOL
Loooooooooooooool Sir Friendzone HAHAHA best part
You guys forgot to smash the beetles. Smash the beetles! Kuh Kuh Kuh
"Holy fraking flashbacks Batman! What about Big Varys and Tiny Tyrion after the death of skewering of the crappiest father, Tywin?"
"Well Robin, who can say? It's like that story thread was put in a box to float on the ocean of plot and we won't know where they end up until that box hits land."
"Amazing analyzing analogies Batman!"
"Yes Robin, when a Bat hears about a missing story thread he has no choice but screech his way to locate its meaning."
- "Ha, ha, ha...!"
-"Ah, ha! Ha, ha, ha!"
I might watch these some day...
Now I don't have to sit on my couch for hours watching the actual show
YES!!!!!!!!!!
I was so relieved that the White Walkers didn't eat or kill the baby. I'm actually excited to see more of them and possibly root for them.
In Germany, Oberyn Martel is dubbed by the guy who also dubbed Barney Stinson (and a lot of other Charackters).
Now imagine Oberyn before the battle, saying "It´s gonna be legen - wait for it - dary"...
