He also mentioned that before his debut, when he was young, his father beat him and threw away his lyrics. Also his mother is not sarcastic, she is verbally abusive. I know that in Korea respect for parents is very important but I just don't know how he managed to forgive something like that. I think that his parents are pretty cruel people, who didn't support him at all. They appeared at his concert only when he was established and well known. I'm happy as long as he is happy but I still think that is very sad. Having disfunctional family is really burdersome and he can't express that because of some sort of taboo in Korea.
