exactly as my grandfather. He pulled out jokes in such a way that everyone thought he was serious. once he was at a party and a person was eating a pastry wirh the mouth open and he approached the person, pointed at the pastry and said:

Well ... I was thinking why he said he's good at driving doing part-time delivery job while he's under Big Hit trainee and also attending high school/cyber college. We all knew that he went into accident at interaction while driving scooter/motor cycle and that fu*cked him up. His shoulder was shattered (some sources said it's not broken. He dislocated it and that tore his labrum and rotator cuff) and he at first couldn't tell the truth about it because he's worried about dropping off from the debut lineup and he's also working parttime outside between training (Big Hit) and school. The car tyre was only two inches away when he opened his eyes and he was left there by himself. It's like hit-and-run while he's doing delivery job to cover his school fees. But, when Big Hit found out about this, they covered their tuition expenses and they didn't remove him from the line up. Though he has a long-term problem with his shoulder and injected pain killers while touring and finally was able to do surgery in 2020, 7 or 8 years later. Now, he can turn full range of his hands. He did go to habitation. But, here we are, he's joking that he's good at driving. It's one of his past traumas which he's trying to overcome.
I appreciate how Fallon let him speak in Korean, and how he and the audience were considerate of the translation delay. Using Western dancers shows he's trying to connect to the host culture.

Exactly, one of the reasons I admire him. He's always his calm self and doesn't do over the top reactions. He isn't an openly affectionate person, but he doesn't fake it to fit in, and he only talks when he has something to say. I'm sure a lot of introverts and less expressive people can relate, growing up there was always a pressure to act more talkative and bubbly to fit it. Seeing him just always being himself helps a lot.

i really do want people to drop the "savage and dark" description. he may have been perceived that way in some specific cases in the past, but that is far from who he is, especially in recent years. even back then, it wasn't out of "savagery". i hope we can all do better when it comes to commenting on people's personalities and not limit them to a one-dimensional (and often false) image.

For those who don't know, he's really neutral about being a food delivery guy not because he's embarrassed, but because he had an accident while doing deliveries and hurt his shoulder really bad, but couldn't afford to go to the doctor then, because he was broke. He suffered with it for almost 9 years and said that sometimes after performing he wouldn't be able to lift his hand. The happy ending is that he finally underwent a risky surgery during covid, got a lot of physiotherapy and is all better now 💜
he obviously went to the doctor after the accident, he didn't have a surgery all these years because he was too busy and it was still possible to put it off

He probably doesn’t realize how much of an inspiration he is to so many people throughout the world. Anybody that has struggled with or know someone who has depression, OCD and social phobias know that life can sometimes be rough. Yoongi brings hope and comfort to those who are struggling.

I don't think he was nervous, he usually doesn't make much eye contact. He less nervous than Jimin: to be polite Jimin didn't cross his legs, Suga did; Suga didn't turn his when drinking with an older person. He actually made some sassy jokes.
Thats just his personality, like he said he isnt uncomfortable around cameras so hes fine especially since hes been there before

@@farawaykin I am guessing they had an ear piece, some Korean shows do this with foreign guests. i wasn't there but in this uploaded edit it feels seamless. Also, they always rehearse these shows once previously and should check with the artist's management about the questions.The once he asked infer that since they are not condescending nor repetitive ones. 😊

Me too... like I would unconsciously turn away and then force myself turn back and look at the speaker's eye because I know its impolite. But then when I'm drifting off again I'll loose the eye contact again. It's really painful to be aware of this every second you talk to someone. Also like putting hair down, to cover the eye-contact. My mom used to be so annoyed about me putting my hair down and covering my face.

@@msm3668 they've had long hair before that didn't act like curtains over their eyes, im not just talking in terms of aesthetics I'm speaking in terms of marketing/business. I don't know if Suga preferred it out of shyness, performing alone, but those long bangs are truly "bad business". Eg, how many covers of Vogue do you think would sell if the model's eyes are not visible because of long bangs hanging down? Those bangs are dulling their superstar impact for those new to BTS!

How long have you been a fan?
@ I discovered BTS in early 2017. I was immediately hooked and started to watch more of their music videos and other content. I decided to start from their very first video and work my way to the present as well as their other online content and family videos. It was like watching them grow up in warp speed. I have been in official ARMY member since 2019 and bought tickets to their concert. They had scheduled for March 2020. I had first row center with sound check passes that you could only purchase as an official ARMY member. I noticed on craigslist that the 26th throw seats were selling for around $20,000 apiece. I would not have sold mine for anything! However, I wish I had because Covid hit, and then the concert was canceled. i’ve maintained my membership and always will and I am hoping they will do another world tour in the US soon. I am 58 years old and would like to see them while I’m still able! Thank you so much for your reply and your interest. How long have you been a fan?

I freaking LOVE Jimmy Fallon. The respect he gives all his guests is amazing. Also, the fact that he showed a clip from SUGA’s documentary and specifically showed the part where SUGA is producing, in front of keyboards, computers, and editing. Then having Steve Aoki say “SUGA is a musical genius” Jimmy did that on purpose. He could’ve chosen a clip from any spot of the documentary but that spot proves he wants people to see how talented, creative, and hardworking BTS are!

He is different that’s what make him unique. He doesn’t care to change for anyone or anything in the world. So hot and I effortlessly funny. He can kill with his humor. Loving him more and more everyday.

What a refreshing interview! Jimmy did a really good job of conducting the interview as Suga is certainly not an easy guest to handle. I loved Suga's dry humor, and he was absolutely hilarious. Props to Jimmy for pulling this off so well!
Suga is not as easy or playful as Jimin, but Jimmy did his best. He knows Suga has a more reserved personality but the respect, appreciation still comes thru greatly.
