What there _should_ be is lesser animations playing, generalize and hybridize it similar to Final Fantasy just a little further where the champions with melee animations don't have to travel to each enemy champion. The rest here are just whining white knights that have too much sit down time on their hands as they play Raid on their PC phone simulators like lowbrow hipsters :)
This calculation assumes that you're taking a common 1 star hero to 6 stars and maxing it out. we can shave the numbers a bit assuming that the champ you are planning to take to max begins as either a rare 3 star, epic 4 star or legendary 5 star. still a grind, but cheaper than a 1 star all the way to max 6
On the other hand the calculation does not include the fact that you do not always get the perfect amount of exp, more often than not you would overdo the last level of each batch. Like you got 3 lvl 29s and they need like 4k exp to be max if you only run 12-3 brutal so it evens out kind of.
Did a little math on my own for anyone interested. I already have a 5 star character I've been looking to get to 6. I typically use level 2 character character for food... because why not. You need 5 5* characters. 25 4* characters. (5 of them being maxed) 100 3 * characters. (25 of them being maxed) 300 2* characters. (100 of them being maxed)
tl;dr I did some math because I'm a little OCD and a little ADD. Great video though, been meaning to do something similar for a while but never got around to it. It's nice to have an idea of what you're looking at in the seemingly endless grind. Hopefully my numbers actually add up and make sense or I just wasted an hour for nothing lol. I want to say the numbers shown are slightly higher than what you will actually need because I believe you're including 1 extra 5 star as food within the numbers, or perhaps that's including the champ you're grinding to 60. Or maybe I'm looking at it wrong, I always hated math. I've been meaning to sit down and plan this out for a while but, again, I hate math. I'm going to assume that everyone is just sitting on hundreds and hundreds of shards which means you'll have an abundance of 1 and 2 star champs sitting around ready to be devoured so I'm just going to calculate that in. I'm also going to assume that everyone ranks all commons to rank 2 and then levels and ranks up all uncommons using common 2 star as food. Someone with a brain can feel free to check this and see if its accurate as I think that if it is then it's a fair bit less of an energy investment, here goes: 5C is the maxed champ you are making 6 star, so you're only farming the other 5 5 stars for food. 6 star = 5C + 5 lvl 1 5* = 25 4 stars = 5M (5 are maxed) + 20 (lv 1) = 100 3 stars = 25M + 75 = 300 2 stars = 100M + 200 (100M will be uncommons, 200 will be commons ranked up) = 400 1 stars = 200M (these feed uncommons) + 200 In total you'll be using 400 commons and 100 uncommons at a minimum. Every rare (campaign drops ONLY) you use will cut out {1M + 2} from the {300 2 stars pool} (this means 1 less uncommon and 4 less commons required) which translates into 126, 848 exp less exp required. It's not much in the grand scheme but if you're a free player then save energy wherever you can as this can add up over time, you can save yourself several refills and get further ahead faster. Exp breakdown totals (using the numbers provided in the video) = 6 stars to max level = 2, 010 669 4 stars = 2, 245 410 (5M) 3 stars = 5, 017, 025 (25M) 2 stars = 8, 132, 600 (100M) 1 stars = 4, 552, 200 (200M) Grand total = 19, 947, 235 exp for food; 21, 957, 904 to level to 60 This is how much exp you will need for each tier of champ you rank up, 5 star isn't included because this is assuming you are ONLY farming the food for a champ you've had sitting at 50 for however long. This is JUST the food calculation for a lvl 50 waiting to hit 6 stars as I imagine a lot of people have many lv 50s and are trying to sort out who their first 60 will be, or their next after that. This is also how I view the 60 grind as I don't include the champ I'm farming into the calculations at all. As such it's also not including any calculations for the differences ranking up a rare or epic because that's too much variance and I hate math and it's late and I'm getting tired. I'm pretty sure it's all accurate? So much for going to bed early.
You know what's funny, I was just trying to number crunch this last night. As I'm on my way to my first 6 star in Tayrel. And my head hurt so much trying to crunch these numbers... thank you so much for this ha.
Great wok as usual! I personally think your math shows that if you have the gems to spare it is worth unlocking all the sparring pits to passively level food
Love your stuff. Can you please make a void champion ranking list? Also I tried making a food tree for a six star champion but I quickly ran out of space because I didn't realise the insanity it was.
double XP banner, Raid pass banner, and if you're lucky, the Forge Pass banner which adds in a small boost to the XP gains, thats the best case scenario
Awesome vid! Could you make a video on useful commons/uncommons (Sister Militant, Outlaw Monk, etc.)? They are nice to use as food for 5 and 6 star champions since they are actually useful in the meantime. Also could be very helpful for new players. :)
Great video and a lot of thought put into it. Halfway though all the math in the video I just realized, GRIND forever and I will eventually get a 6* :P
this is anecdotal but ive been grinding all day to get my first 6* ( still undecided who btw ). So I already had a max 5* but no level 1 5's to use as food. Using the 2 and 3 star champ drops from 12-3 on brutal Ive managed to get 2 lvl5's and 3 lvl 4s with 1K energy. So for anyone in a similar position its about 3k-ish from where i started.
it's more than 952 runs because of the wasted xp when leveling (the 3 runs to get 1* to 2* for example wastes quite a bit). Before multiplying the xp by the number of runners you could have calculated the # of runs to level 1 guy up, and then multiplied that. So you wouldn't get a total xp, but you would get a total # of runs (you could also calculate the number of runs that using a 3* or a 2* helps you vs starting with a 1*)
Hello. Your numbers assumes that the exp required to max a level 1 star is generated by an exact number of runs. However you need 3 runs and thus generating an excess of exp in order to max level 1 star. That applies to all levels 1 through 6 star. And I believe is more useful as you have upgraded your first 5 star to level it up with 2 that have 4 stars in team rather then alone. The number of needed runs changes accordingly.
just a little something: The calculation you do with 720* is the case if you lvl a 1* to lvl 6, which no one will ever (hopefully^^) do :P So if you start for example form a 5* as a base you only need 600 1* or something between 600 and 720 if you start from a 3* (too lazy to do the exact math now :P)
What/who can be capable of farming Brutal? I have a 5Star kael but can barely deal with 7-8 Hard solo, is it realistic to not use a 6star to farm brutal?
thats also assumeing you already have a level 60 to solo with in the first place. most people will be doing 10/3 on normal or 12/3 on normal with a 50 champ depending on gear
I know this is an old video but the numbers are reduced by quite a bit because you get a LOT OF shards along the way and you get a lot of two star and the occasional three star hero from those. Also, you can eliminate some of the energy costs by eating a few of the one stars.
wouldn't it be a better calculation if you didn't include the champion that your ranking up to 6 star? I doubt anyone is taking a common to 6 stars but you also don't want to do the math multiple times to account for each rarity's different starting stars. great video regardless. I started playing a little over a month ago, made a few noob mistakes and then found your channel and it's been a great help.
Hay chosen, you got me to try this game out and it isnt bad...my game does freeze a few times during loading but I can just reload...but after 2 hours of play I had to go to bed but I had over 500 stamina....and cant seem to drop it off lol
I'm 10 days in and have Galek maxed out at 5 stars and max ascension but I recently pulled Queen Eva and got her to 50 pretty quickly. Should I take her to 6 stars first even though I don't have tomes or potions to get her power up yet?
I'm wondering if the math could be improved or at least estimated a little better? For example, when you're leveling food, you lose exp on the "last" run before max level as no champion needs exactly 1 run worth of exp to level. IE: You might only need 2000 exp more to max out a champion so the remaining 8000 is wasted. Basically, I think you need to add 1 partially wasted run worth of energy for each champion that is getting maxed out.
I also thought about that. Usually, I just sacrifice a few 1 stars or an XP brew to level up the champion rather than wasting more energy. But that's not wise in the long run.
Without 20% bonus exp and leveling at the end one 5* and after that one 6* with only 100% bonus exp, you need 11592 energy on 12-3. If you want to get the optimum exp at the end you first have to prepare three 5 and 6 *. But with only one, the last 2 stages are not so efficient and you need more energy.
Loving your channel. is very informative and helpful. I am ready for my first 6* Have food all saved up, just waiting for an event so as to get the rewards benefits from it. I have watched your video on your decision to 6* Athel, and have watched others on Athel. He was my first choice, until I pulled a Sir Nicolas today. So my question is this.......... First 6* for overall utility, Athel or Sir Nicolas?
Hi Chosen! I have found this channel and started playing after seeing your farewell to diablo 3 video. I have a question about 5 / 6 stars. I have Athel already 5 starred. I have some not too bad epics that I use frequently at 4 stars. Should I 5 star a main party of four first, and then another 5 food (such as outlaw monk / sister militant etc.) and get Athel to 6 stars, or should I directly focus on the foods and keep my epics at 4 stars until after Athel has 6 stars. In case it makes any difference, my epics are: Hellgazer, Bloodfeather and Shaman. Thanks for the videos!
I'm on a search for how much XP each run gives on normal, hard, brutal, nightmare, etc. Does that exist or does each level give higher XP no matter what and each keep gives higher xp than the last?
Chillin out maxin, relaxin all cool and all...shoot some bball outside of the school when Palarium games said we're up to no good...kept from making space to feed our champs some food...we got in one little fight and our moms got scared and said...boy or girl go outside and get you some fresh air.
Loving your guides! Thank you! I have my first 6 star, Elain (was investing in her before watching your guides) and am wondering what type or role should I make my second 6?
Thanks for the data! With accordance to my estimation, it would take me 112 hours and 30 minutes of clicking every 1 minute and 30 secs while watching the very same repetative and boring auto battle over and over again in order to get my first 6 star Kael. This game is so much fu. n! :D
Constantine Kobyalko Tl;dr Your math sucks, even though it’s 6 months later I thought you should know. WTF... 952 runs, let’s just say 1000 runs, at 1:30 each, is 1500 minutes, divided by the 60 minutes that are in an hour, is 25 hours... not sure how tf you came up with 112 hours.
Hey chofly, thanks for taking the time to make the calcs, but u didn't account for using 2 stars at all or that the champ that u r 6 starring could be a 3,4 or a 5 star.
According to the calculation, it would take even more energy. Something that was not touched in this video is that a relatively large amount of energy is going to get wasted. Especially in the 1* champs. If you are gaining slightly over 10K exp, and you only need 22K, then you are losing 8K. However in the conclusion he took the flat number of total exp, then divided it evenly. This is great information as a rough guide, but if you want an accurate number of how many times you would actually have to run dungeons, this video is kind of low-balling the number of runs. However as many other people pointed out, you don't usually start with a 1* champion. Going along with that, there will obviously be plenty of uncommon and rare champions that you farm or get out of your green shards which would bring the number lower again.
there is one last calculation remaining. 6000 Energy x 3min = 18000min = 300 hours = 12,5 days of constant nonstop usage of your normal ingame replenishment. Since i'm new to the game i can't tell exactly how much lower the real time consume is due to my lack of knowledge in late-game free energy refills. There is at least one for playing the game for 1h. I assume overall you'll get down to 10-11 days of constant grinding. That means in order to get 5 x lvl 60 heroes you need 5x11 = 55 days = almost 2 months... LOL!
Well, this is great information and I really get great content from your videos. However, I think you just showed me I need to find a better game. I don't mind a grind, but good grief, that's some serious time investment if you are strictly a f2p person.
Had the same thought my friend. Try Final Blade (for minimal grind) or Heir of Light (medium grind) or Epic 7 (high grind but it's more forgiving on the exp/nrg aka exp transfers from maxed to non maxed). Either way I'm telling my clan today I'm gone smh...
By my calculations, If you already have a five star that you want to six star, it would need 600 one stars, maxing out 300 of them, and/or 300 two stars, maxing out 100 of them, and/or 100 three stars, maxing out 25 of them, and/or 25 four stars, maxing out 5 or them. Then use your five new 5 stars to six star your current hero.
Kellen Tessier I know. I wasn’t saying he’s wrong, but most people don’t want a 6 star common hero, and that’s what his numbers are creating. I wanted to calculate what you’d need to 6 star one of your current favorite 5 star heroes. I actually like the work he put in on this video though.
Your math is (sorted) wrong. At 5:42 you end up with only ONE 5* because you didn't start with 720 X 1* you listed them as 360 X 1*. You won't get ANYTHING from a single 5* other than a single 5* however that is what you listed. I'm sure you're aware of it, this is fun information to crunch. I rarely made more than a few 3* commons in order to make my (purchased and earned) rare champions into 4* in order to feed them to each other and to undesirable epic 4* champions. I played around with a LOT of team combinations and synergies until I found a play style that suited me and in the mean time I amassed an army of 4* kept in the vault. When it came "crunch time" and I found myself unable to go any further in dungeons and arena and brutal 3* campaign I bit the bullet and started ranking up all of the most duplicated and undesirable champions into 5 X 5* and realized that I was actually able to yield THREE 6* champions! Basically by just playing the game for three months (and purchasing shards etc probably $300 which is a lot for some and a drop in the bucket for others. Your expendable discretionary income may vary, play your way). I chose Bellower (void/ogryn/rare), Robar (force/orc/legend) and Gorgorab (magic/undead/epic) and my next will be Steelskull (spirit/skinwalker/epic) and it will enable completion of a huge roadblock in the quests for me. Aside from Skullcrusher this was basically my arena team. I have literally made Gold III from Silver IV in a week since the ranking up of those three. Then I need to focus on my masteries and clan boss team which includes Zavia, Elenaril, Skullcrusher, Apothecary and an affinity floater such as Athel, Fenax, Tayrel, Juliana, Coldheart and Psylar to round out dungeon farming. I'm fortunate to have the pulls I've had. The amount of poison between Steelskull, Zavia and Elenaril is obscene! That's the only reason I used Kael and even Tallia as food. Great video. Thanks for the content as ever Chosen.
@@tjfuerteprime2933 the math is SORTED incorrectly. You probably didn't even read the body of the text. I can't say I blame you it is a wall of words. I never argued the validity of the math..when he summarizes he does so incorrectly. That is why he ends up with TWO single star models at the end of the page. The timestamp points right to it.
But, we wouldn't be starting with a level 1. We'd likely start with a 3 -5 star hero if we're talking 6 star so all the math is different for 3, 4, and 5 star heroes as the target 6 star. If you don't have the xp bonus you should do Minotaur, Spider queen, or campaign bosses for a shot at higher rarity gear upgrades, since doing those things aren't really done for the xp return.
Hahaha I was trying to chart it out on my desk when I decided to search for it online. I'm still going to triple check the maths, because it seems off for some reason. A point that you missed is that the heroes do not get the exact amount of exp in so many runs. The runs give an exact amount but when the hero gets to level cap, there is a LOT of wasted exp. This game does notoperate with clean numbers, and there is nothing you can do about it other than run lesser difficulty modes for less energy cost so you don't waste so much energy and exp.
have they done an update since this video came out ? because i need 5 - 5* to make 1 - 6* but your saying your only need 1 - 5* to make a single 6* the xp math seems right but the count for the sta'rs of characters seems off. and the xp boost is 100% not 20% so. maybe you could do an update to this video.
What he's not mentioning is that you need to scarifice five five star champs to get the six star champ.. So it's not a direct "line" down each rank up rank up requires that amount of starred champions
I actually dont have a champion who is worth getting to 6 stars (im a free-to-play), and i been saving shards for events, but no matter how many ancient shards i open i never obtain an epic champion, not even one, no need to say neither a legendary, the only decent champions i have is Galek and executioner (super bad luck i have), the only epics i have are shaman and jizoh and thats because the game give you those the first 2 weeks and they are food champions, so i am realy lost ob what to do
Well that sucks, try opening three blue Shards per day as your daily quest. Or even every couple of days throw in the three blue ones. This is the method I use and it pleases me, although it is just a summoning ritual when it comes down to it. I do have quite a few epics to show from it however.
Wow. If you are fortunate enough to be able to use only 2 star champs, you cut off 8M xp. Yikes. Would have loved to see the total silver costs included in the ranking up processes.
The silver costs for the ranking up is much smaller than the silver you get from doing the runs and selling the useless gear. This way you can grind much more silver than the 4.2 M silver for 1,400 gems. If you use the 1,400 gems to do refills at 40 gems each, you'll end up with more than 4.2 M silver.
Getting your 1st 6 star is really time consuming. You have to start farming on Hard mode, and then eventually Brutal, but I think I did alot of 6-5 while I was building my Kael up. He just wasn't powerful enough for a while.
Jesus, that's waaaaaaaaaay too much. It's crazy. I'm trying to 6 star Rael (2 weeks playing) and I have my first two 5 stars ready plus a bunch of 4 stars and 3 stars ready, but I think I will need much more. Willing to burn some rares, I don't even care, just want my 6 star champ so that I can make everything faster.
I was wondering this and starting to do the math then decided just to look this video up. I wish i never did haha great vid but wow the grind is real 😪😪🤯🤯😪😪
great video but theres a tiny mistake... you assumed a 100% efficent usage of the gained xp to make it clear what i mean: when u lvlup a 1star you usually dont land on the exact amount of xp u need to reach lvl 10 u usually overshoot it. so you would need to divide the xp needed for each star tier by the amount of xp gained per cleared stage and then round up the number u get to account for that overshooting unfortunately that leads to an error of roughly 11.5 percent, leading to 1063.667 needed runs to get a 6 star hero instead of the calculated 952 heres how i get to that: (please excuse the way i present the following table) clears per hero: amount of xp needed to max the hero divided by the mentioned 10382 xp per cleared stage Stars clears per hero actual clears per hero clears needed actual clears needed 1 2.19 3 789.25 1080 2 7.84 8 940.53 960 3 19.33 20 579.89 600 4 43.26 44 259.53 264 5 92.83 93 92.83 93 6 193.67 194 193.67 194 this means instead of the 951.90 runs (summ the needed clears for each stage divided by 3 leachers) you will need 1063.667 runs (here no rounding is necessary because for this calculation the 1064th run would be with 2 leachers (the other one is maxed already) but there one could start all over again) this means instaed of 7616 energy you need 8512 energy if one would want to calculate the amount of energy needed without the raid pass one could not simply divide by 0.8 to account for the lost 20 percent incease in xp gained. Instead one would need to recalculate the cleas per hero with the new amount of xp gained per cleared stage ( raid pass gives 20 percent extra xp so the normal xp is the 10382 / 1.2 = 8651.6) this way you get: stage: 1 2 3 4 5 6 clears per hero: 2.63 9.41 23.20 51.91 111.40 232.40 actual clears: 3 10 24 52 112 233 this means here you will need 1219 instead of 1143 runs which translates to 9752 energy instead of 9144 energy As you can see the effect leads here to a way smaller error here (only approximatley 6.65%) this can be easy explained when u look at the amount of clears needed to max the 1 star heros.... its still 3 because the overshooting made that big of a difference for the first stage (you might consider farming a hard stage instead of a brutal because overshooting might be less of a problem there und u might get a better maxed heros to energy ratio)
Before watching: too much. 😁 After watching: okay, that's way, way too much 😱 I'm playing for free and I just lost all my current XP buffs while working on making my very first 6⭐ champion. I gotta say, it's a royal nightmare. 😅 I have three 5⭐ ready and almost got 4th as well. But I'm basically grinding with a duo at brutal, can't remember the name of the place but it's slow. I'm planning to 6⭐ Athel first so I can solo with her... But I'm really not sure anymore. Also got a Bellower and he seems really good too. But I feel like everyone would tell me to go with Athel because she's great pretty much everywhere.
@@kesh4171 yeah, probably going to make Athel first. But I got few other good ones as well like Kael, Executioner and Coldheart. Pretty much all magic and void champions 😁
I'm gonna say go with bellower first, with high enough crit and good gear he can solo farm 12-3 in 8 to 10 seconds. The quicker your farmer the quicker your next 6* gonna be.
@@GrayWaren Well, the problem is that I may not have good enough gear and that the speed is not the issue, but rather the amount of energy as I'm playing for free. 🙂 I'd love to make Bellower a 6 star but then again, he's not that good in clan boss or some dungeons, or Arena. What kind of gear would you suggest to him, though?
@@Thunderhawk51 Please please go Athel first not Bellower, Bellower needs so much more to do brutal 12-3 and Athel is amazing in all areas of the game especially Clan boss once he has Giant slayer up which is where the best gear currently comes from
Dude, your math is right but there are so many assumptions that are off that the total amount is not even close to the actual. I don’t want to be a dick about it but here are some few things I thought about when I watched your video 1. Why would you want to max out a common character to lv 60? It's way more likely that you will already have a Rare, Epic, or a Legendary and that's the character you want to max out. That would make 714 1 star characters to level up a Rare, 696 1 star characters to level up an Epic and only 600 1 star characters to level up a Legendary. 2. You are not only stuck with 1* characters. Even if you ONLY use green shards and you want to spare every single rare character you get from there, you will still end up with about 25% uncommon. This means that you will have 87/85/73 characters (calculations for rare/ epic/ legendary) that are already 2 star. You don’t need to calculate 1 star level up evergy for them, since they are already 2 star to begin with. This amount will naturally increase due to farming drops, but since I don’t know the drop rate, I didn’t count them in my calculations either. 3. You can’t just add all XP together and divide with the XP you get from one location. It does not make any sense. Take a 1 star as an example. It doesn’t matter if they get 8000 XP or 10300 XP. They will have to be at the campaign location 3 times either way. So don’t count XP, count the number of times they have to be at a location. 4. About the comment above… If a food is very close to max level, you can either farm them one more time or put them in a sparring pit to level up the last bit. It makes a lot of difference (about 15%) when it comes to total energy. 5. The total of 10300 XP seems to be a bit high. In order to do that you will need to have one character that is REALLY good at farming and 3 food. I am extremely happy with my relictkeeper but he can only pull off 8400 XP (double XP but no raiding pass) if he is stuck with 3 food. All in all even when using 10387 XP as standard (assuming that my best farmer sucks compared to yours) I get the total amount of energy to somewhere between 14000 and 18000 (depending on type of character and sparring pit strategy). I will need to recheck my calculations though, because they seem to high. I did them rather hastily.
To take a 5 star to 6 star, it needs a total of five 5 star champs (not maxed), each 5 star champ is a, 1 max 4 star, and four normal 4 stars... That's a total of five- 4 star heroes each. Doesn't that mean you need a total of 25, 4 star champs, and not 30?
They should make 4x faster button on campaign🤦♂️ 2x is too slow
They should add a multi-sim function for battles tbh.
I agree
They should allow you to exit the compaign and access the other Menus when you are farming.
They should allow us too not play the game
What there _should_ be is lesser animations playing, generalize and hybridize it similar to Final Fantasy just a little further where the champions with melee animations don't have to travel to each enemy champion.
(5 of them being maxed)
100 3 * characters. (25 of them being maxed)
300 2* characters. (100 of them being maxed)
so 2 week of energy to turn my 3 star to one 6 star hero holy $@#%. and some people are asking for 7 star heroes i say no thanks you.
I wonder how much time it took for SKNova to get all his 6 stars. Good lord
People who BETA tested with Plarium were allowed to keep what has been given them during the course of testing. And what they had earned.
tl;dr I did some math because I'm a little OCD and a little ADD.
Someone with a brain can feel free to check this and see if its accurate as I think that if it is then it's a fair bit less of an energy investment, here goes:
5C is the maxed champ you are making 6 star, so you're only farming the other 5 5 stars for food.
6 star = 5C + 5 lvl 1 5*
= 25 4 stars = 5M (5 are maxed) + 20 (lv 1)
= 100 3 stars = 25M + 75
= 300 2 stars = 100M + 200 (100M will be uncommons, 200 will be commons ranked up)
= 400 1 stars = 200M (these feed uncommons) + 200
In total you'll be using 400 commons and 100 uncommons at a minimum.
Exp breakdown totals (using the numbers provided in the video) =
6 stars to max level = 2, 010 669
4 stars = 2, 245 410
(5M)
3 stars = 5, 017, 025
(25M)
2 stars = 8, 132, 600
(100M)
1 stars = 4, 552, 200
(200M)
Grand total = 19, 947, 235 exp for food; 21, 957, 904 to level to 60
This is how much exp you will need for each tier of champ you rank up, 5 star isn't included because this is assuming you are ONLY farming the food for a champ you've had sitting at 50 for however long.
This just became my bible! Currently working on getting my first 6*
saaaaame
You know what's funny, I was just trying to number crunch this last night. As I'm on my way to my first 6 star in Tayrel. And my head hurt so much trying to crunch these numbers... thank you so much for this ha.
Great wok as usual! I personally think your math shows that if you have the gems to spare it is worth unlocking all the sparring pits to passively level food
I was Tring to find this out the other day. Thanks for making this one. I love the data so I know what kind of grind I'm looking at
0:14 Rest In Peace that one guys shout out yooooo lmfao I’m dead bro😂
Lol no that’s his Patreon username “that one guy what’s his name again”
Wow man that was quick thanks a lot! Much appreciated..
Love the content. Keep up the good work!
Great vid man. Can't believe I did this two times already (but I did use 5 2* champs from the start). Keep up the good work!
As a new player i kept hearing about Bellower, while watching this video guide about him, i got my 2nd void shard and got Bellower :D
I liked that you wrote it out. Super helpful. Thank you.
nice calculation...although it applies that u are trying to 6 star sister militant %) ....but your videos are great !
BAHAHAHA
Answer: too damn many lol
This question was legit going through my head at work. Thank you on my sanitys behalf
Love your stuff. Can you please make a void champion ranking list? Also I tried making a food tree for a six star champion but I quickly ran out of space because I didn't realise the insanity it was.
Lol making a tree that shows 720 one stars would be tough for sure
Thank you very much! Im very bad at doing math, my brain cant focus, so thank you for laying it out!
I’m here for ya SunBro ☀️
Thx me and my friend both play and we been trying to debate how many one star champions it takes to get a 6 star champion thx helped a bunch
double XP banner, Raid pass banner, and if you're lucky, the Forge Pass banner which adds in a small boost to the XP gains, thats the best case scenario
Awesome vid! Could you make a video on useful commons/uncommons (Sister Militant, Outlaw Monk, etc.)? They are nice to use as food for 5 and 6 star champions since they are actually useful in the meantime. Also could be very helpful for new players. :)
He did
It's called not all commons and uncommon are trash
I tried figuring some of this stuff out myself, and gave up lol. Im f2p, so i know what a grind it is, this helps IMMENSLY... Thx got my sub
Love your vids you always get my likes
Cheers Ravage, thanks! 👍🤛
I am trying to farm my first 6 star. Doing same level 12 stage 3 on hard. Using your math I need 8466 energy. Thanks for the video dude
he said brutal not hard
I know. Read my comment again maybe. Lol
it's more than 952 runs because of the wasted xp when leveling (the 3 runs to get 1* to 2* for example wastes quite a bit). Before multiplying the xp by the number of runners you could have calculated the # of runs to level 1 guy up, and then multiplied that. So you wouldn't get a total xp, but you would get a total # of runs (you could also calculate the number of runs that using a 3* or a 2* helps you vs starting with a 1*)
How much difference is a 60 Sinesha, verses a 50?
So, is it better to level half the uncommons as you have said here? Or use the uncommons as food to level commons and save energy?
Great videos ! Just wanted to ask you , do you think it’s better to rank my starter hero to 6? Or have him and some others at 5?
Yeaaaa I'm not gonna ever get to end game at this rate 😂
My 5 star Elhain can farm brutal 9-3 solo, so that's where I've been levelling.
thats also assumeing you already have a level 60 to solo with in the first place. most people will be doing 10/3 on normal or 12/3 on normal with a 50 champ depending on gear
I know this is an old video but the numbers are reduced by quite a bit because you get a LOT OF shards along the way and you get a lot of two star and the occasional three star hero from those. Also, you can eliminate some of the energy costs by eating a few of the one stars.
Plus 2 and 3 stars from the campaign farming.
wouldn't it be a better calculation if you didn't include the champion that your ranking up to 6 star? I doubt anyone is taking a common to 6 stars but you also don't want to do the math multiple times to account for each rarity's different starting stars. great video regardless. I started playing a little over a month ago, made a few noob mistakes and then found your channel and it's been a great help.
Fair point, I wanted to calculate what the max requirement would ever be and let people adjust down from there. Your point is true tho!
Hay chosen, you got me to try this game out and it isnt bad...my game does freeze a few times during loading but I can just reload...but after 2 hours of play I had to go to bed but I had over 500 stamina....and cant seem to drop it off lol
Thanks for trying the game! When you’re new energy is abundant. It becomes easier to spend it all later.
very good video, man a lot of energy...need to get cracking lol
Is it worth ranking up 1 star champions or should I just feed them to other champions right away for xp?
I wouldn’t feed champs for XP unless you are rich. Tons of green shards and silver.
I'm 10 days in and have Galek maxed out at 5 stars and max ascension but I recently pulled Queen Eva and got her to 50 pretty quickly. Should I take her to 6 stars first even though I don't have tomes or potions to get her power up yet?
So I could make 1 star common champions all the way to a six star champion and it will work for one rare or better champion?
Not sure what u mean ^^
If you use solely commons that end up being 5 stars they will be food just like rares or uncommons. If I understand you correctly.
Peter Kingsley that is correct.
What's your thoughts on buying 2* champs from the market to compensate? Seems worth according to Kizzle
This is so helpful. Now I know how to get my champs to 6 star :)
Should I go for a six star right away or wait for a better farmer
6⭐️ a rare campaign farmer ASAP unless u find someone better along the way.
old vid but how do you deal with low energy when you are trying to level up champs?
Wow had no idea it was that much energy to make a 6* ... thought more like 5k ! Nice work ...
So is it better to do this using 1* or 2* starting this path?
just started 9 days ago; currently doing multibattles to finish 6-staring my first char (skullcrown). I honestly never wanna do it again.
Thank you for this vid !
Fair point, it’s more of a guideline to the expected cost and not an exact science. Good input PX 👍
I also thought about that. Usually, I just sacrifice a few 1 stars or an XP brew to level up the champion rather than wasting more energy. But that's not wise in the long run.
i was thinking the same thing. I usually throw them in the sparing pit. will sometimes also use another common as xp food to help as well.
Athel is a woman 😂 both are great choices if u have leg books go with Sir if not Athel prolly.
How do I get to brutal without a 6* champion?
Chillin out maxin, relaxin all cool and all...shoot some bball outside of the school when Palarium games said we're up to no good...kept from making space to feed our champs some food...we got in one little fight and our moms got scared and said...boy or girl go outside and get you some fresh air.
Very helpful, thanks
Loving your guides! Thank you! I have my first 6 star, Elain (was investing in her before watching your guides) and am wondering what type or role should I make my second 6?
Thanks for the data!
With accordance to my estimation, it would take me 112 hours and 30 minutes of clicking every 1 minute and 30 secs while watching the very same repetative and boring auto battle over and over again in order to get my first 6 star Kael. This game is so much fu. n! :D
Constantine Kobyalko
Tl;dr Your math sucks, even though it’s 6 months later I thought you should know.
WTF... 952 runs, let’s just say 1000 runs, at 1:30 each, is 1500 minutes, divided by the 60 minutes that are in an hour, is 25 hours... not sure how tf you came up with 112 hours.
Thank you for this :)
how the heck people have account FULL of 6 stars champs?
now i understand why it's taking me so long to get my food up in 12-13 normal for my first 6*... :'O
Currently in the process of 6 starring my ithos, my first 6 star
That´s a lot of work lol, how long does it take?
How do I upgrade a hero's star?
I only need level 5.
Can we have a video of you actually using your champions, maybe in the arena or see how far you can get in dungeons. Nice work.
Thanks for the input 📌
Hay surely you would only need to max 360 of the 1* as the other 360 would be instent food to 2* the rest.?
Should I 6* Souldrinker as my second 6* or Coldheart? I'm so indecisive..
Def coldheart shes a void and way more useful than soul drinker can use her in dragon spider CB pretty much everywhere
there is one last calculation remaining.
Yes but that's just taking 5/6th of this equation. His point and mine I'm u/BasedTess was to find the full numbers starting at nothing.
@@ccniceguy2 :) or buy a chicken and regret it later lol which i don't lol
Sorry Dude. Your math ist wrong. The math in this Video ist absolutely correct
Hey it's BasedTess. Good video man
But, we wouldn't be starting with a level 1.
Time to grind
This is literally why i dump on 3 star rares i get from spamming brutal stages lol . And rares i dont like, i skip the whole 1 star stage
What he's not mentioning is that you need to scarifice five five star champs to get the six star champ.. So it's not a direct "line" down each rank up rank up requires that amount of starred champions
I'm almost there, only need to max 10 more 3* and get more 36 3*. I only farm when I'm 2x XP, it's a waste to do it otherwise.
@@arlanboyd6940 Thanks, i will try your method, i hope i can get at least one epic or legendaty hahahaha
This math is flawed due to the loss of xp when each champ hits max level making more runs for the same amount of xp
Is it bad that I start with 2star champions ?
Jesus, that's waaaaaaaaaay too much. It's crazy. I'm trying to 6 star Rael (2 weeks playing) and I have my first two 5 stars ready plus a bunch of 4 stars and 3 stars ready, but I think I will need much more. Willing to burn some rares, I don't even care, just want my 6 star champ so that I can make everything faster.
I was wondering this and starting to do the math then decided just to look this video up. I wish i never did haha great vid but wow the grind is real 😪😪🤯🤯😪😪
I just use 5 legendaries to max my first six star Kael, that's way faster lol
thanks man!
great video but theres a tiny mistake... you assumed a 100% efficent usage of the gained xp
to make it clear what i mean: when u lvlup a 1star you usually dont land on the exact amount of xp u need to reach lvl 10 u usually overshoot it. so you would need to divide the xp needed for each star tier by the amount of xp gained per cleared stage and then round up the number u get to account for that overshooting
unfortunately that leads to an error of roughly 11.5 percent, leading to 1063.667 needed runs to get a 6 star hero instead of the calculated 952
heres how i get to that: (please excuse the way i present the following table)
clears per hero: amount of xp needed to max the hero divided by the mentioned 10382 xp per cleared stage
Stars clears per hero actual clears per hero clears needed actual clears needed
1 2.19 3 789.25 1080
2 7.84 8 940.53 960
3 19.33 20 579.89 600
4 43.26 44 259.53 264
5 92.83 93 92.83 93
6 193.67 194 193.67 194
this means instead of the 951.90 runs (summ the needed clears for each stage divided by 3 leachers) you will need 1063.667 runs (here no rounding is necessary because for this calculation the 1064th run would be with 2 leachers (the other one is maxed already) but there one could start all over again)
this means instaed of 7616 energy you need 8512 energy
if one would want to calculate the amount of energy needed without the raid pass one could not simply divide by 0.8 to account for the lost 20 percent incease in xp gained. Instead one would need to recalculate the cleas per hero with the new amount of xp gained per cleared stage ( raid pass gives 20 percent extra xp so the normal xp is the 10382 / 1.2 = 8651.6)
this way you get:
stage: 1 2 3 4 5 6
clears per hero: 2.63 9.41 23.20 51.91 111.40 232.40
actual clears: 3 10 24 52 112 233
this means here you will need 1219 instead of 1143 runs which translates to 9752 energy instead of 9144 energy
As you can see the effect leads here to a way smaller error here (only approximatley 6.65%) this can be easy explained when u look at the amount of clears needed to max the 1 star heros.... its still 3 because the overshooting made that big of a difference for the first stage (you might consider farming a hard stage instead of a brutal because overshooting might be less of a problem there und u might get a better maxed heros to energy ratio)
Thanks
Heya man, preciatin the vids, very pragmatic.
Can you put up the reddit link you referred to?
Before watching: too much. 😁
After watching: okay, that's way, way too much 😱
I'm playing for free and I just lost all my current XP buffs while working on making my very first 6⭐ champion.
I was going to do either Athel or Bellower both are good but id go with Athel first
@@kesh4171 yeah, probably going to make Athel first.
I don’t want to be a dick about it but here are some few things I thought about when I watched your video
