Another little tip guys on arena is putting 1 character on your defensive team and it being 2 star or 3 star or whatever, making sure your team looses and you loose rank, and going back to the bottom of the ranks, that way when you log back on or go to fight more later you can fight a bunch of low level teams with your good team and get 10-15 wins and medals a day climbing back up the ranks instead of only a few wins a day cause all your fighting is hard teams and build your great hall up much quicker, the first 2 months I played this game I didn't know that and was only winning a few matches a day keeping my good team in and always trying to keep my rank, I get right back to same rank just 15 or more wins a day now

I have a regular account and I started a FTP account. OMG it is difficult! It takes 20 level 3 champs to make one 5 star food. So that is 100 level 3's! You can imagine how many uncommons I had to deal with to get to that many 3's. I don't have a problem with the grind. The problem that no one seems to talk about is energy. This game does not give you enough energy to do what you want in a short time. To fully level up a 6 star Champ with that much grinding, it literally will take months. I am trying. It is such a beating.
Ikr? It’s like, dude.. I’m trying to GET to where I can do that. If I had 3-4 maxed champs just lying around, I wouldn’t be looking for tips 🙃 These are more so tips for mid-endgame players.

Remarkably sound advice. How you do your runs is actually not far off from how I do mine each week. With regards to the gearing, I'd do accessories first and then the other. Nice vid. I also use minotaur instead of dragons on the actual champion, though I guess you could run food into dragons? By the way, I like to setup an autoclicker at night/when working that is scheduled to run based on the time required to regen the energy I need to farm (I don't have resources for 100 battles daily). For example, 12.3 needs 8 energy at brutal, I schedule a run once every 8 x 3 minutes = 24 minutes.
Theres a really nice breakdown on reddit about 12-3 hard vs 12-3 brutal. Hard is actually the better option in terms of energy efficiency, silver earned/xp gained. Strongly advise you to check it out!
I calculated how many runs average you need to get all the scrolls for one champion...and its 149 runs of stage 15 which is 2086 stamina. Just wanted to share bcs i thought its pretty insane
After I 6 star my champions I run them on minotaur's, that way by the time they have their masteries done, they'll be level 44/46 and then I run them on dragon's, until level 60.
Just to add that I usually spend 600/680 gems (15/17 refills) to do that. I start buying 15 refills, load 13 and let the autoclick run through the night. When I wake up, they will have around 650/660 red scrolls, could be a little more. Then I'll just use the other refills to complete the remaining red scrolls.
That's hard for the majority of players, most can't spare a slot for dragons 20 or high levels. Those who are able to do that already should know efficiency already.
@@user-gt3qc2oy1h That's a good point, but in my case I didn't realized that I could farm the dragon with 4 champs, until I had seen a video where someone was doing it with only 3 champs. So, although at certain point it's more or less obvious how to be energy efficient, sometimes it could be necessary to see someone doing different things to take a step further into being more efficient. Also, using campaign to level up champions still is an efficient and the fastest way to level up champions.

Gonna check out your Peydma video next, pulled her kind of recently and I am thinking about using her with Kyoku A2, and then coldheart a3, for spider 20+ attempts. I don't think I have a real AOE HP burn champ as of now, but with her AOE dec attk and the way Kyoku works, I think that's my best shot at moving forward in spider (with faster runs than killing all the spiderlings over and over)
some one else probably already said this somewhere but if you are sacrificing rare champs make sure there is not a fusion coming up. I just sacrificed a bunch of champs that would have got me the fusion 2 weeks before. I had no shards after that to start building up my rares again. So I wont be getting Kantra unfortunately. Great video though definitely helps :D
Picked up some of these tips just from my own experience playing the game, but there are definitely a couple tips that I am going to incorporate from your video. Running Dragon once the hero you are trying to level hits 40 is a big one. Thanks for the good video and tips!
I listen to you, Salt and Hell Hades for Raid Shadow Legends tips and tricks including using the books. According to Salt you have to use the books one at a time otherwise you lose opportunities to upgrade skills because skill books don't stack and they're random which skills they upgrade at a time.
Hey ASH, great content! Love the advice on running the dungeons while you sleeping. Do you have an average of how many gems you need to use for the energy each night?
When I do brutal campaign, I do all of them + 2 extra boss battles. That will finish the 50 energy and either the 7 campaigns or 3 boss fights as well as leveling them to low - midrange.
Love your content dude. Always. And I agree with you up until when you 6* the champ. Then, imo, it's best to lvl up your new 6star in Minotaur rather than dragon. Overnight, it will level up AND farm scrolls. usually you need around 140 runs in Mino15 to get all the scrolls (around 650 gems). It won't get your champ all the way to 60 but at least 45 (more if you can farm with just 1-2-3 lvl60). I think it is the most efficient to spend energy/gems when leveling up a champion.
Wow. I JUST started. It’s a grind! I wasted so many potions and time / materials on what I thought would be amazing. Many WERE NOT! Anyway I broke a lot down and essentially reset to start again.

@@chinosEyeball7duh it's luck of the draw my main complaint is i'm 44 days in have already beat all of the campaign finishing out my last 3 star rating for all the levels in yet i cant get past bronze 3 in the arena so i can beat the game no problems at all but when it comes to arena i have 0 heroes that are good most of the time i get one shot and dont even get a turn makes no sense to me but game is still fun have spent maybe 55$ overall on it
@@girovverloren5459 Well what champions do you have or use. i have the same problem i have 3 starred the normal campaing and im almost done with the hard but in arena i cant win the second round of champions. they say that in arena you have to put one weak ass champion on defense so they dont put you up against top level champions

Try looking up F2P guides guys, and alot of what ash is saying is spot on, just takes us a little longer, after 3 months on my first account I started a 2nd account as free to play and with the knowledge I have of the game now I'm running my F2P account much more efficiently, and alot of stuff he talks about is a huge help, so many little points or tips here and there that have helped, also look up hell hades fellas, he can be very helpful to and is doing a F2P account series of his own and throws out lots of tips to, alot of this game comes down to gear, and team synergy and strategy Always appreciate the videos ASH and your enthusiasm, cracks me up when you call yourself out sometimes, lol
Do you know about leaving just 1 character on your defensive team so that your team looses and you loose rank but when you go battle with your good team you get to climb back up the ranks again and get all those wins and medals, first 2 months I played this game I left a strong defensive team and was trying to keep my rank, but i was barely winning 5 arena battles a day to complete quest, and great hall was taking forever, once I learned that I could leave 1 person on defense and why people do it, I was now getting 15 or more wins a day instead of 5 and still getting right back to rank I was the day before, lol, that one helps
Mike Mcintyre That’s good but you never progress so if you are stuck in bronze, you can’t earn any silver or gold medals for the great hall which are needed to up your percentages.

Good stuff! really the only thing for me would be that books is a little less of a factor for me, if a champion NEEDS books to be decent no I wont focus on them, but since I'm early have and only have two 6s rn, for me at least I'm more lenient, I go for versatility first, that's why for me warlord is getting 6s before my tayrel, the fact that he is a lego is not really a factor, he will keep me alive almost everywhere.
As a beginner of 32 days perhaps I can help. I aim to get one nonentity to 4**** level 1 each day. That means on the 4th day I can leg up one of my 40**** level 40 rares to a 5****, which is pretty good for a basic aspiration. I've got a Nazana level50 that I use in Valdeman Straights Hard - where a decent side effect is a ton of 3*** lifesteal. I/m sure you can get someone similar to do a similar effect; to win a hard level campaign battle on their own. During this churning process I always acquire enough green shards for tomorrow, plus most days I get a drop of a 3*** Templar that I can use as a bit of a shortcut the next day. Total cost = 330 lightning (55 x 6) which is around what you get free by doing the daily quest. I have Raid on my phone which means I can do this all manually by just pressing replay every 5/10 minutes or so whilst doing a days work. I start off by portaling 20 green shards to get 16 x 1* and 4 at 2*. you won't always get this, sometimes less, sometimes more 2* and once a week a rare. You pick up 2* and 1* as drops in your 55 battles so maybe every 4 days I only portal 10 shards. The whole process only ever gains me shards so don't worry about losing them as you are bound to get at least 15 shard drops in your 55 wins, half at 2 half at 1. Set up Valdeman straight 6 battles with your Tank as the leader and put in 3 x 1* for 5 battles to get them up to max level 10. Then replace those 3 x 1* with 3 more for 5 battles until they are at max level 10. Then replace them with 2 x 1* and one of the 3*** level 1's you created yesterday. Ideally you got a 3*** Templar as a drop yesterday as it speeds the battles up slightly. Another 5 battles gets you your 7th and 8th level 10 1*. Replace those 2 x level10s with 2 x 2* level1's you got from the shards. Fight 19 or 20 battles to get them up to max level. Then swap out those level 20 2** stars for the level 1s and repeat the 19/20 battles. During these 38/40 battles your Templar or your ordinary 3*** will go from level 1 to 30. Then go to the Tavern and do some merging. The silver you earned in your 55 battles will easily pay for the leveling up: 8 x level 10 1* with 8 x level 1* = 8 x 2** level 1 4 x level 20 2** with the 8 x 2** level 1's you just created = 4 x 3*** level 1 The level 30 3*** with 3 of the 4 3*** level 1's you just created = 1 x 4**** level 1 leaves you one x 3*** level 1 to take up to level 30 tomorrow Don't forget to go to your artifacts and sell off any 2** or 3*** artifacts you won't want and just leave yourself with 5 or so 4**** lifesteal artifacts. Vary your battles within Valdeman Straight to get different artifacts or fight in Palace of Aravia to get Speed stuff. That might be a few more battles (60 ish in total) Hope this helps to someone starting
I dunno. I think the basic concepts are 100% relevant to newer players. (I, myself have only been playing for a few months.) Yes, he can do it quicker, and he does so for the sake of the video, but the thought process is still the same.
Some tip for gearing is start with the jewelry instead of the set, it helps to get lets say easier acc, crit or def, with that you can get a worse piece of a set on her instead of a god tier piece to get those stats :)

Thanks Ash. I am new to the game and I figured out a lot of this already before I found this video especially the farming. I will start filling out that middle row of gear now on your advice. I'll check out your other videos. I'll search but have you done a video on synergy between character pairings? More for newer players that have no legendary and few epic characters.
I try to put gear on only rares + and epics, but only level it up to 8. Only toons I want down the road I'd put them in better gear if I have it and swap out later. I sell all common gear unless it has speed for main stat and 4 star. I do hate leveling food to level 5. Almost got my 1st 6 star 60 (55 atm). Did it on my legos first. I save books for rares I can't farm from campaign. After maxing Faction guardians I'll use the extra rares from campaign as books. I only started doing Nightmare campaign the other day. At Catacombs now.
I have to thank you before watching this video I had 2 6 stars and just overwhelmed with the game because of the amount of champs I had now I have 6 6* and most importantly this guide got me the free iron brago who is underrated thing about him unless he is fully assended he is blah and he needs acc and speed but hits like a truck so thank you
Curiosity question and maybe it's something you've already mentioned in previous videos. I can never find a definitive answer if it's any different to ascend your character as you go or if it's better to ascend your character at the end when they're stars. Does ascending them when they are six star give you better bonuses? Or is it the same bonuses for each Ascension?

I asked a whole bunch of question on a previous video ,(sorry) and I’m finding answers to all going through your videos. So I have the battle pass too, would u set all 100 battles on one farm night. Like the example of you doing Arcane potions, you set all 100 battles to that ? And what a great idea, I use my battle pass during the day , but I should just play during the day and then at night set up my 100 battles to one farm instead of splitting it
If you remember this is just a game and don't try to keep up with those throwing their money away. it can be fun and rewarding doing this slower and waiting a little while to meet your goals.
I get farming dragon lair to be efficient but if your wanting speed gear why not just farm the speed area of campaign on brutal or nightmare your chances of getting those speed sets are higher and you can farm it until you say get the speed boots then switch to the lvl for armor get the one you want and move on to gauntlets etc
id have to make a case for lifesteal. Lifesteal can give rare champions some serious sustain damage making champs like Kael more viable in almost every aspect. Speed is useful, but I would say if your champion is a damage dealer, lifesteal is best,
I always try to drag a food champ or 2 through dungeons when I'm farming if I can manage. Between that and the daily quest to complete 7 campaign runs, I usually am pretty close to being able to develop a champ by the time I get one worth using.
Donald Schmidt smart. I only strictly farm 12.3 when I get my weekly xp boost reward. I was doing the math to see how many points I could get for making 6 star champs for the fusion event. I’m going for Bushi from the champ training event (20k). (With XP Boost) If you take (60) 2.1 champs and make them (1) 5.1 you get roughly 1870 points. So about (12) 5.1 if you don’t get points elsewhere. I’m ftp but I’m going for it.
if you level your champs to 55, and then run the mino with them, they will get to 60 by the end of the scrolls needed.. they gain a bit over 4K XP per mino run.
How would you max out a sister militant? I personally think that she is under rated, and should never have been a common. It sucks that you can't ascend her. I use 2 6-starred sister militants to farm. I would love some of your input.

Ranked up my coldheart and royal guard to 6 stars the other day, leveled them to 50 in camp, then went to finish grinding masteries for last 10 levels... didn’t have the gems for it, and only needed red scrolls anyway.... by the time they are max mastered they should be close to level 60... might use spider and FK to top them off of Mino doesn’t get them there

Yes, more o less Basic Scroll 3-4 runs , Advance Scroll 44-45 runs , Divine Scrolls 105 runs = 2086-2150 energy (16-17 refills of energy)
And u get more than 2k exp per run so go before u max level.

Picked up some of these tips just from my own experience playing the game, but there are definitely a couple tips that I am going to incorporate from your video. Running Dragon once the hero you are trying to level hits 40 is a big one. Thanks for the good video and tips!

I listen to you, Salt and Hell Hades for Raid Shadow Legends tips and tricks including using the books. According to Salt you have to use the books one at a time otherwise you lose opportunities to upgrade skills because skill books don't stack and they're random which skills they upgrade at a time.

When I do brutal campaign, I do all of them + 2 extra boss battles. That will finish the 50 energy and either the 7 campaigns or 3 boss fights as well as leveling them to low - midrange.

Love your content dude. Always. And I agree with you up until when you 6* the champ.
Then, imo, it's best to lvl up your new 6star in Minotaur rather than dragon. Overnight, it will level up AND farm scrolls. usually you need around 140 runs in Mino15 to get all the scrolls (around 650 gems). It won't get your champ all the way to 60 but at least 45 (more if you can farm with just 1-2-3 lvl60).
I think it is the most efficient to spend energy/gems when leveling up a champion.

@@chinosEyeball7duh it's luck of the draw my main complaint is i'm 44 days in have already beat all of the campaign finishing out my last 3 star rating for all the levels in yet i cant get past bronze 3 in the arena so i can beat the game no problems at all but when it comes to arena i have 0 heroes that are good most of the time i get one shot and dont even get a turn makes no sense to me but game is still fun have spent maybe 55$ overall on it
@@girovverloren5459 Well what champions do you have or use. i have the same problem i have 3 starred the normal campaing and im almost done with the hard but in arena i cant win the second round of champions. they say that in arena you have to put one weak ass champion on defense so they dont put you up against top level champions
@@chinosEyeball7duh have ignatius as "tank" nazana, blacknight,kael, and miscreated monster for the arena cant seem to get anywhere. have zelotah and reliquary tender apothecary nithril they just dont seem to preform well i bet i'm just all gear'd wrong

Try looking up F2P guides guys, and alot of what ash is saying is spot on, just takes us a little longer, after 3 months on my first account I started a 2nd account as free to play and with the knowledge I have of the game now I'm running my F2P account much more efficiently, and alot of stuff he talks about is a huge help, so many little points or tips here and there that have helped, also look up hell hades fellas, he can be very helpful to and is doing a F2P account series of his own and throws out lots of tips to, alot of this game comes down to gear, and team synergy and strategy

Do you know about leaving just 1 character on your defensive team so that your team looses and you loose rank but when you go battle with your good team you get to climb back up the ranks again and get all those wins and medals, first 2 months I played this game I left a strong defensive team and was trying to keep my rank, but i was barely winning 5 arena battles a day to complete quest, and great hall was taking forever, once I learned that I could leave 1 person on defense and why people do it, I was now getting 15 or more wins a day instead of 5 and still getting right back to rank I was the day before, lol, that one helps
Mike Mcintyre That’s good but you never progress so if you are stuck in bronze, you can’t earn any silver or gold medals for the great hall which are needed to up your percentages.
Was saying that its helpful at first For people who are struggling in arena or doing it to build your great hall up quicker at the beginning of the game

Good stuff! really the only thing for me would be that books is a little less of a factor for me, if a champion NEEDS books to be decent no I wont focus on them, but since I'm early have and only have two 6s rn, for me at least I'm more lenient, I go for versatility first, that's why for me warlord is getting 6s before my tayrel, the fact that he is a lego is not really a factor, he will keep me alive almost everywhere.

As a beginner of 32 days perhaps I can help. I aim to get one nonentity to 4**** level 1 each day. That means on the 4th day I can leg up one of my 40**** level 40 rares to a 5****, which is pretty good for a basic aspiration. I've got a Nazana level50 that I use in Valdeman Straights Hard - where a decent side effect is a ton of 3*** lifesteal. I/m sure you can get someone similar to do a similar effect; to win a hard level campaign battle on their own. During this churning process I always acquire enough green shards for tomorrow, plus most days I get a drop of a 3*** Templar that I can use as a bit of a shortcut the next day. Total cost = 330 lightning (55 x 6) which is around what you get free by doing the daily quest. I have Raid on my phone which means I can do this all manually by just pressing replay every 5/10 minutes or so whilst doing a days work.
I start off by portaling 20 green shards to get 16 x 1* and 4 at 2*. you won't always get this, sometimes less, sometimes more 2* and once a week a rare. You pick up 2* and 1* as drops in your 55 battles so maybe every 4 days I only portal 10 shards. The whole process only ever gains me shards so don't worry about losing them as you are bound to get at least 15 shard drops in your 55 wins, half at 2 half at 1.
Set up Valdeman straight 6 battles with your Tank as the leader and put in 3 x 1* for 5 battles to get them up to max level 10. Then replace those 3 x 1* with 3 more for 5 battles until they are at max level 10. Then replace them with 2 x 1* and one of the 3*** level 1's you created yesterday. Ideally you got a 3*** Templar as a drop yesterday as it speeds the battles up slightly. Another 5 battles gets you your 7th and 8th level 10 1*. Replace those 2 x level10s with 2 x 2* level1's you got from the shards. Fight 19 or 20 battles to get them up to max level. Then swap out those level 20 2** stars for the level 1s and repeat the 19/20 battles. During these 38/40 battles your Templar or your ordinary 3*** will go from level 1 to 30.
Then go to the Tavern and do some merging. The silver you earned in your 55 battles will easily pay for the leveling up:
8 x level 10 1* with 8 x level 1* = 8 x 2** level 1
4 x level 20 2** with the 8 x 2** level 1's you just created = 4 x 3*** level 1
The level 30 3*** with 3 of the 4 3*** level 1's you just created = 1 x 4**** level 1
leaves you one x 3*** level 1 to take up to level 30 tomorrow
Don't forget to go to your artifacts and sell off any 2** or 3*** artifacts you won't want and just leave yourself with 5 or so 4**** lifesteal artifacts. Vary your battles within Valdeman Straight to get different artifacts or fight in Palace of Aravia to get Speed stuff. That might be a few more battles (60 ish in total)

I dunno. I think the basic concepts are 100% relevant to newer players. (I, myself have only been playing for a few months.) Yes, he can do it quicker, and he does so for the sake of the video, but the thought process is still the same.
Some tip for gearing is start with the jewelry instead of the set, it helps to get lets say easier acc, crit or def, with that you can get a worse piece of a set on her instead of a god tier piece to get those stats :)
I was going to ask as a newbie why Ash suggests doing the middle gear first (like what's the logic behind it?)

I try to put gear on only rares + and epics, but only level it up to 8. Only toons I want down the road I'd put them in better gear if I have it and swap out later. I sell all common gear unless it has speed for main stat and 4 star. I do hate leveling food to level 5. Almost got my 1st 6 star 60 (55 atm). Did it on my legos first. I save books for rares I can't farm from campaign. After maxing Faction guardians I'll use the extra rares from campaign as books. I only started doing Nightmare campaign the other day. At Catacombs now.
most Champion can also solo farm campaign with good artifacts. It gives tons of xp and is a way to fast leveling too

I have to thank you before watching this video I had 2 6 stars and just overwhelmed with the game because of the amount of champs I had now I have 6 6* and most importantly this guide got me the free iron brago who is underrated thing about him unless he is fully assended he is blah and he needs acc and speed but hits like a truck so thank you

Curiosity question and maybe it's something you've already mentioned in previous videos. I can never find a definitive answer if it's any different to ascend your character as you go or if it's better to ascend your character at the end when they're stars. Does ascending them when they are six star give you better bonuses? Or is it the same bonuses for each Ascension?
I'm f2p, lvl 47, and don't have a 6* champ yet so this video is pretty helpful.

I get farming dragon lair to be efficient but if your wanting speed gear why not just farm the speed area of campaign on brutal or nightmare your chances of getting those speed sets are higher and you can farm it until you say get the speed boots then switch to the lvl for armor get the one you want and move on to gauntlets etc
id have to make a case for lifesteal. Lifesteal can give rare champions some serious sustain damage making champs like Kael more viable in almost every aspect. Speed is useful, but I would say if your champion is a damage dealer, lifesteal is best,
Just take your credit card and spend USD 200 for each champion to upgrade to lvl 6

It takes 60 two star champs to make one 5 star.
So 300 total 2 stars to needed to bring your 5 star to a 6. Good luck everybody.
I always try to drag a food champ or 2 through dungeons when I'm farming if I can manage. Between that and the daily quest to complete 7 campaign runs, I usually am pretty close to being able to develop a champ by the time I get one worth using.
Donald Schmidt smart. I only strictly farm 12.3 when I get my weekly xp boost reward.
I was doing the math to see how many points I could get for making 6 star champs for the fusion event. I’m going for Bushi from the champ training event (20k).
(With XP Boost) If you take (60) 2.1 champs and make them (1) 5.1 you get roughly 1870 points. So about (12) 5.1 if you don’t get points elsewhere.
I’m ftp but I’m going for it.
if you level your champs to 55, and then run the mino with them, they will get to 60 by the end of the scrolls needed.. they gain a bit over 4K XP per mino run.
So glad they added my kind into this game
I run champs through Minotaur after making them 6 stars. Most of the time they're almost maxxed by them time I'm done with all masteries.
How would you max out a sister militant? I personally think that she is under rated, and should never have been a common. It sucks that you can't ascend her. I use 2 6-starred sister militants to farm. I would love some of your input.
Looking for some advice, I been playing the game about 2 hours and I've levelled up my first legend who is 3 stars but I have no other 3 star to sacrifice where do I find one ?
Make one. Level a junk uncommon to 20 and sac 2 other junk uncommons and boom rank 3 for free. You can rank commons the same way.

Ranked up my coldheart and royal guard to 6 stars the other day, leveled them to 50 in camp, then went to finish grinding masteries for last 10 levels... didn’t have the gems for it, and only needed red scrolls anyway.... by the time they are max mastered they should be close to level 60... might use spider and FK to top them off of Mino doesn’t get them there
100 auto battles on a potion keep that's alot of energy most people couldn't do this.
