I love how the tram only gets a few seconds of footage XD you recognise it struggling and you're like 'yeah that'll do' XD Love love love that bridge still!
Probably never, this version would be too complex to convert into an instruction format. Maybe I can do a version of it in the future, but that's a long way off :)
Fantastic to see these beautiful locomotives running! Got a little worried when the trains were running over the bridge area with minimal bricks holding it. ;D
@@BritishbricksYes. Sorry, got mixed up. Anyways, I am glad to rectified the eccentric crank rotation problem that you had on the V2 in your dedicated showcase video on the V2 that made the valve gear motion look like how Arc Productions and Nitrogen Studios animated the valve gear on Mike, Rex and Hiro from Thomas & Friends, where the eccentric crank always stays at a 90 degree tilted angle upwards throughout the entire rotation
Cheers Trace! Life has been a little chaotic at the moment with work and university. But I'm trying really hard to make some new models/content when I can. Really appreciate the message, and hope all is well with you too :)
@@Britishbricks It is a pretty perfect representation of a fairly typical concrete archway though. I immediately thought of the planned Art Deco stations on the never finished Northern Line expansion past Edgware. 😅 I might steal this idea for my small backroad bridge over the train tracks if I can make it fit. 🙈
You bet, just spent half a day working on it. But it'll probably take a few years to really come together - which should make for some interesting content... :)
At the moment I don't have a layout as such. Just some pre-built tables I made and a lot of spare track. I'm currently working on updates for the layout over on my Patreon account. Thanks!
I'm not entirely sure if anyone has done a J50 before. Certainly would be fun to replicate. I'll think about it (only cause I have so many WIPs to finish first), but I can't promise it'll be done anytime soon. Thanks!
It is indeed! LNER is my favourite company of the big four but man do they take forever to decorate XD The A4 has been scrapped and is pending an entirely new rebuild.
are lego blind driving wheels i.e part 85489a with no flange run by themselves or will they just come off the tracks? as surely their is no contact on the side of the rail.
I never started like this, you just have to keep practicing. I took a lot of inspiration from what other builders where doing when I started. Just experiment as much as possible and use plenty of reference material.

LNER is the best of the big four railway companies. The impressive models on display are some of the reasons why.
I love how the tram only gets a few seconds of footage XD you recognise it struggling and you're like 'yeah that'll do' XD Love love love that bridge still!
You'd think out of every engine here it would be the easiest to run. But nope XD Thanks mate!
Nothing less than majestic!
Cheers mate!
Great stuff Sam! A lovely selection of stock.
Thanks Andrew! I'm really enjoying working on rolling stock more and more these days :)
That is GENIUS using the old sports arena ramps to get that tunnel shape. Excellent job!
Thank you! I can’t claim it as my idea but everything else about the bridge was by my design :)
@@Britishbricks Do you know who came up with it? It could definitely have a lot of applications as a tunnel roof etc.
We have been waiting for you. Welcome back!
Thanks mate, glad to be back!
I love the bridge, and that J70 looks awesome!
Cheers, mate! Glad to hear so many people like the bridge :D
Viaduct?
Beautiful simply beautiful, a gorgeous stable of locos and the V2 looks amazing.
Thanks mate, sure is a lot of green - but that's what I love :)
Really like all your LNER trains however the L1 9003 is my absolute favourite
Thanks Mike! I love the L1 purely because it’s never given me any trouble when running XD
Kinda ironic since the L1 is a Thompson design.
The bridge looks amazing! Keep up the good work!
Thanks mate, will try my best!
amazing engines with an amazing stone bridge
Thanks mate, glad you like it :)
@@Britishbricks np bro
I love when bridges define the laws of gravity!
It's best to not ask too many questions XD
I've been waiting for this for a while! you are a true lego master! and the accuracy on the locomotives and rolling stocks is insane! love it!
Thank you so much, and sorry for the wait!
Ooo nice a new J70 and arched bridge!
What could be better! Thanks for watching :D
Solid steam engine builds! Can’t wait for more!
More is always on the way :D
That is a solid stone bridge. I have some LDD files if you want to take a look or maybe add to your diorama?
Cheers mate, I’d love to see what you got just send me an email :)
When are you going to release the Prince of Wales, I LOVE IT!!!!!!!
Probably never, this version would be too complex to convert into an instruction format. Maybe I can do a version of it in the future, but that's a long way off :)
@@Britishbricks roughly how many pieces was it? I'm guessing 1,500?
@@jasperhunter8386 Probably an accurate guess, not quite sure to be honest.
Fantastic to see these beautiful locomotives running! Got a little worried when the trains were running over the bridge area with minimal bricks holding it. ;D
Oh don't worry, there were a few close calls at the start of filming XD Thanks mate :)
Amazing, just amazing
Thank you so much :D
Glad to see you fixed the valve gear on your V1 Prairie
You mean the V2?
@@BritishbricksYes. Sorry, got mixed up. Can you do an LNER B1?
Would love too, but would like to do something a little less complex in terms of valve gear. Thanks :)
@@Britishbricks tell me about it XD
This has always been one of my comfort videos to just mindlessly watch and be inspired by. Just wishing you well mate! Hope all is good :)

The bridge is amazing
Thank you :D
These engines look great and this I think is one of the few youtubers to have a Lego LNER V2 class which is the 2-6-2 one
That is awesome dude, it’s so detailed
Thank you :)
looks good why not make railmoter no93 and auto coach no 92?
Wouldn’t mind making an auto coach but probably a future project :D
Nice! I never thought about using the halfpipe pieces upside down.. 🙈
It certainly is whacky when you think about it! There is still a sports sticker on one of the panels that I’m leaving as graffiti 🤣
Finaly some videos
Took me a while but hopefully I’ll be making more in the future!
@@Britishbricks jeeeees i am so happy about it
Amazing!
Thanks :D
What's the blue wagon in the P2 consist? Nice bridge btw
BR CCT van - thanks!
Even though I am an American I still love the British trains because of Thomas and friends
Cool, thanks! :)
what piece are you using for the bridge? i've never seen it before
They're Skateboard ramps from the LEGO sports collection :) Not my idea, but such an awesome parts usage.
@@Britishbricks yeah they look really cool. still, love the bridge :D
Amazing, is that part of an upcoming layout of yours?
You bet, just spent half a day working on it. But it'll probably take a few years to really come together - which should make for some interesting content... :)
I like how you have everything except Scotsman
I love Scotsman, but it’s one of those engines that I find slightly underwhelming. I really like obscure/unique looking engines :)
@@Britishbricks Ok
Nice stone bridge I love to see more of your train layouts and I hope you could build a 14xx GWR
At the moment I don't have a layout as such. Just some pre-built tables I made and a lot of spare track. I'm currently working on updates for the layout over on my Patreon account. Thanks!
yeah boiiii
I wish I could build like that. Keep it up
Thanks mate :)
Can you make Flying scotsman?
Maybe one day but who knows!
What happen to the v4 why did you build a v2 i love the V2 just asking what happen to the V4 standard
Wasn’t a great runner and wasn’t overly happy with the design. Like the V2 more anyway so I’m happy with the end result :D
Oh i see your welcome but can you build
LMS black 5 standard
I know its a bit crazy to ask but if you ever make another tank engine can it be the class j50
Btw this is a beautiful design for a bridge
I'm not entirely sure if anyone has done a J50 before. Certainly would be fun to replicate. I'll think about it (only cause I have so many WIPs to finish first), but I can't promise it'll be done anytime soon. Thanks!
@@Britishbricks ok I hope you will be able to make it but can it be like a cyan blue color or perhaps a dark red like the furness red
@@Britishbricks idk I like trying new things good luck man
been a while friend
Has been but nice to be back!
Beautiful, just beautiful :')
Thank you :,)
Yo, these all look fantastic!
Not gonna lie, I want instructions for the J70!
Working on a new design to share on Patreon :)
im more impressed with that bridge damn
Thanks! It's funny how so many people like it :)
Whoa nice bridge
Thank you :D
Is that a blue parcels van?
Love the V2. Absolutely stunning. You have a talent with LNER locos.
Speaking of, how's your A4 coming along
It is indeed! LNER is my favourite company of the big four but man do they take forever to decorate XD The A4 has been scrapped and is pending an entirely new rebuild.
Sometimes it’s best to just start again, rather than trying to just change little things over and over again.
Fair enough man. I started an LMS duchess class, but I'm tempted to just change it into a princess royal. It saves the hustle around the window arch
I see you updated your V2
Indeed! Once a V4, now a V2!
Keep up the good work
What are the arches of the bridge made of?
Cool models.
LEGO Sports, half pipe ramps - thanks!
love the bridge arches! what part is that?
Skateboard ramps from the sports line :)
@@Britishbricks Thanks!
Could you build s pannier tank??
Definitely a must, just not sure when :)
Could you show us how you built that v2? I'm really curious how you assembled that buffer beam.
Get dis mans some SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEESH
Not sure what that means, but I assume thanks 😅
LNER V2💚 but the V4?
Awesome man
What will your next video be? But other than that, Fantastic models! I really love these!
Either a vehicle collection (other than trains), a running video for a new model or possible a layout update.
@@Britishbricks Sounds great!
are lego blind driving wheels i.e part 85489a with no flange run by themselves or will they just come off the tracks? as surely their is no contact on the side of the rail.
Is the bridge going to be a part of your layout?
Sure is want to do a layout update as soon as I can 2-3 weeks time :)
can you make a stirling engine and is that even posible ?
This Friday, I've got something similar coming...
Hello how did you learn to build Lego trains as I’m interested in getting into the hobby but I can find little to nothing about it

do a 9F
