Onana made some tremendous saves. I can't get on a keeper for deflection goals. He is least of our concerns. How is Ben claiming also "its not a full liverpool outfit", but silent on United roster gaps?

If I was Sir Jim, I’d be thinking that if ETH can win a game like that, with the players we’ve got, then getting the right players will make a massive difference and better than get a different manager who the players won’t play for.

One o f the things Ten Hag's style of play requires is courage from the players. Yesterday they had it, and hopefully they have learnt that they need to keep being courageous in order to improve. They need to have the will to win by being more courageous than their opponents

Reflexes mate, nothing is faster than reflexes. I would be a bit more lenient if it just hit him without him knowing about it but he went for the save. He need to wire his brain to auto palm.away from danger that is basic.

think foster is thinking of a different chance, dive was required to make the save from a decently powerful shot(he did 'swat' one away from near him though. Getting a palm on a strong shot needs a strong wrist whgich takes away from directing the ball from the save

Realize that this manager might not promote youth players like ETH does. The players aren’t good enough to play ETH’s style of play game in game out. Give him what he needs and clear out the deadwood, and I can’t wait to see what we’re like next year.

I can’t imagine thinking that FA cup game is indicative of progress or anything that will bring reliable success going forward. It was the best performance United have had all season and the worst Liverpool performance all season and United won it on the final kick of the game.
Them players will never play like that again this season. I can already hear you saying "what happened to the performance we had against liverpool".
Love how Mark feels vindicated for one result. Even when we were outplayed for most of that match. If Liverpool were more clinical that game is over way before full time.
Could Onana be better on some aspects of his keeping... YES but overall when he is generally solid and kicking well, he is far more of an asset than a liability and does make good saves too! Foster harsh.

Normally I agree with Ben, but United had more chances and a better xG than Liverpool. Liverpool buried a couple of deflection goals. If United had more proven finishers they would have had 4 goals at the least. Liverpool got away with getting it into ET to be honest.

the main problem this season is the injury crisis we have to faced. we have 20plus combination of defenders throughout the season. sir jim and inoes have to make big investment outside the pitch, the facilities, medication/treatment for the recoveries instead of sacking the manager. we dont want the same injury problem next season.
