Maa Saraswati I'm very fortunate I met her twice in my life. First in Nellai Sangeeta Sabha My father knew Sri sadashivamji. I travelled with them in their car with my father.I was around 6 years old Secondly in mumbai shanmugananda Sabha s principal Veena mastero Sri Narayanaswamy s residence at first floor of Sabha. Programe for Shankar netralaya. She blessed me & my nephew. Ananta koti Namaskaram 🙏🙏
MS AMMA is my Guru for my learning of Vishnu Sahasranamam at my 16 years. Not only to me but to thousands who learnt this Hymn from her,m by listening her LP record those days. Therefore MS AMMA is eternal Guru for all who know Vishnu Sahasranamam, presently.
As long as Radha Viswanathan was her vocal support she was clad in the same sari-style of MS Amma -- yet another case of her classy disposition. Later, when Radha passed on, Gowri took her seat -- with one exception: no more matching saris, though she too was clad in rich silk ones. Gowri had that constant full respectful look totally placed on her guruji's beautiful face throughout the kutcheri. What a beautiful sight to see!! Such were great people made of. i , sometimes, think that it's good that i wasnt a fan of her before her demise . . . it would've hurt sooo much on that day to listen that my amma's no more :-/ even her parthiv shareer looks graceful . . is it the teja a devotee gets as a proof of his/her bhakti?! she's truly divine . . she deserves much more than bharat ratna . .
What a person?always kept to herself,husband was her everything,his word was her gospel.What a personality?And these people define the meaning for Bharat Ratna. greatest achiver but still simple.Its a great feeling to see the wonderful MS amma in the pink of her health,I always saw that lean grandma on the suprabhatam casette.MS amma's greatness cannot be explained all at once.But its a great fulfillment to the soul every time we say atleast a few words about her.Thanks so much for the upload!

MS Amma is my most favourite carnatic vocalist.Her face just shines with divine power.She is really the goddess Saraswathi.She is my all time favourite and i love her from the bottom of my heart.I've heard almost all of her songs and i say that no one can match her.When i hear the songs of her tears flow into my eyes and when i see her divine my mind gets refreshed.Because of her hardwork,faith in god and respect to everyone led her to attai prosperity throughout the world.

i recently read a story about M S AMMA...god tested her in many phases of life she over come such obstacles and some times she dint had peaceful life still she expected nothing from any human being neither from god though she is eligible for lot of wealth and fame...how can one human being be without any selfishness and all good qualities..she is an angel not a human...otherwise no human can be so perfect like her...all she has belief in god and kept him in her heart through out her life
S.N.Narayanan. Years ago I had an opportunity to meet the Secretary of MSS at her residence for a business discussion. Half way through, suddenly MS silhouetted in the hall where we were - I virtually froze as though I was in front of Goddess Saraswati! I was numbed by that unexpected bliss. And within seconds she vanished inside. Only then I regained my senses - that I missed a life time opportunity to fall at her sacred feet. When I made an appeal to her Secretary, he consoled me that I missed the chance and that she may not come to the front office again that day! Disappointed, with a heavy heart I left her abode. Later I went to St.Isabel's Hospital where she was admitted, but the "no visitors" board restricted me. Within days, the startling sad news appeared in the papers !
I was fortunate to talk to her when Late Sri Sambamurthy sastrigal *met her at Gandhi museum Madurai.before her concert. *= sastrigal younger brother of Kanchi Mahaswamugal.
her music knows no geographic boundaries .... it reaches the lay man ... While amma sings she sees the God ... in turn we also get a golden opportunity to listen to her .... nectar and honeyed voice !
