The bit at the end was regarding the serial communication settings. This should be established before transferring files as you need both the control and pc to have matching settings. These include the baud rate, data bit length, stop bit length. Hardware handshake etc. If your coms settings work and you can transfer files via rs232 then you can ignore those settings as they are fine.

One of our machines has had the Delete+Reset command done to it and im starting fresh. I was hoping I could copy the parameters from my identical machine and load them into my wiped one.
