I started my day listening to a bunch of music videos and I stumbled upon this video. I've gone half the day already and can't stop coming back to listen. Absolutely beautiful ❤❤❤ This was one of many of my sister and my favourite songs by Deftones! She passed away in 2019 and I felt like in a way she lead me here, thank you ❤
Another amazing cover. I knew from the start that you could pull off Cherry Waves very well, and you did not disappoint. I love how the reverb sound on your voice comes out in certain parts of the song, giving it that dreamy spacey feel. Then you got to “and the waves suck you in” and that lower bass-ish tone came through and helped to fill out the sound, making it feel just.. warmer. As a whole, it was very sonically pleasing, and that’s not to mention you’re awesome vocals. So happy to see that you’ve done another cover, another great one that I’m going to try my best to spread the word about. You deserve more attention for these. Great work, and now I think I’m going to go listen to it a few more times

Plain old guitar/vocal covers are often fun to see, but you do things a little differently, you breathe your own life into the track, you make a version of your own. Your versions are stylistically much softer versions of the original tracks, but Deftones makes songs in a way that allows doing this to work quite well with the nature of the songs themselves, and you really know how to harness and emphasize that attribute of the original music you’ve covered. As I’ve said on previous videos, Chino would be proud, and he honestly really should hear these as given the types of music he has mentioned enjoying in interviews, I’m positive he would love these. Can’t wait to see what you’ll do next
