- On #InternationalWomensDay, we recognize the service, sacrifices, and achievements of all women who earned the title of United States Marine. The women who stand in our ranks today are heirs to a proud legacy and are writing the next chapter of our shared history through their actions and accomplishments.
Sgt. Maj. Ronda R. Kirby, 1st Sgt. (ret.) Stacie M. Black and 19th Sgt. Maj. of the Marine Corps Troy E. Black reflect on their own experiences and the successes of the women in our Corps.
Semper Fidelis.
It was an honor to serve with every Women Marine back in 1973 to 1977. Semper Fi from an old Marine Sergeant from Charleston, West Virginia.
Semper Fidelis to the men and women Marines in the past, present, and future. we are the few and the proud, but the women are the fewer and the more proud. keep in mind that all limitations are self-imposed and that every moment is a fresh beginning my fellow devil dogs ❤
