FYI, in Phoenix Fry’s the $5 off 3 would not come off unless another items was added to the crest/Colgate deal to cover the overage. Without adding another item the $5 wouldn’t come off.
It worked at my Frys today…I bought 2 Colgate and 1 crest along with my other deals needed. No issues…did you mean you needed any other item for it to work or another personal care item?

Also when I tried the toothpaste scenario 3.49, 3.49, 4.99 = 11.97 - $5 Colgate - $2 crest -$5 instant, in that case the 5 instant would not come off.
I replaced one of the 3.49 pastes for a 3.99 then it worked, got all 3 for .47 + tax.
Nick there is also Ken on Annie’s Mac n cheese get a dollar back when you buy 4 so it will be a money maker

I did 2 Colgate at $3.79 and a bic razor at $5.49 and used the $5/2 Colgate and $3/1 Bic. Makes them just $.07 and included the rockstars as well

Just got back from Frys here in Arizona
Went to do the toothpaste deal the instant savings DID NOT come off cashier said it was because of coupons that it wasn't taking off the $5 I tried explaining but the end result is I walked out empty handed 😢
