Very fun game, I had actually yet to see a game with the new Atraxa despite how popular it is in other formats so this was a nice treat
I hate her. Atleast the old one had strategies. New Atraxa is just goodstuff
Yeaaaaa, Omar. Was so bummed the B Act got countered but Chain Reaction does the work!
Getting B act kill is the dream, but it usually doesn't work, so we need the subs to do the job
Minor misplay, Prairie Stream should have entered tapped at the 2 min mark.
It doesn't change the outcome as Rodrigo had an Arcane Signet that he could tap.

These decks were really cool!
5:02 Rodrigo cannot play lion here, because he cannot get white mana from his 2 untapped lands. Same for 6:55.
Edit: on 6:55 he had Heartless Summoning, so the lion actually costed only W and could've been played only from Prairie Stream. He just misrepresented it by tapping 2 lands.
He is using a praire stream which is Island Plain
@@oscher88 Sure, and the second land is Darkwater Catacombs, which is a filter land that does not produce white.

My brother uses Atraxa as his reanimation commander, as it helps him find key pieces like certain spells and big creatures. Works great as she alone is able to dig to get the engine pieces

I had to take apart my atraxa grand unifier deck. Made it a flicker deck and it was just way to strong for casual play.
Same here. Too strong, and resolving Atraxa's 10 card ability multiple times per turn was way too slow.

That was a neat chromium flash gimmick deck. Seemed kinda lacking as the commander ONLY had the whole "flash" thing going for it. i know there are "better" options at two color but i guess Chromium is just the most colors with being castable at flash. But that CMC cost.....

Ive played against that deck a couple of times and it's definitely not antifun. It's a value deck with interaction that makes the table think about timing your plays, I like it cause it prevents every deck and game just a race to see who resolves the first bomb
Its really sad that as a community, we need to be transparent about involving WotC.
Its almost impressive how much the company has (justly) earned everyone's hated.
