Mine has airflow tiles at height 2, so the mealwoods have 2 heights of oxygen, rest of the room is hydrogen. And the floor is made of the mealwood farm tiles. This allows dupes to fill up the dirt from below, without actually going in the room.
Watched the channel for sometime. Did a search on something ONI related and this popped up. How did I miss you did ONI content? SMH. Would love to see more of this.
OK, so you're using this for plastic ... You need to maximize hydrogen space. - (x2) making a zig-zag mealwood setup with half the mealwood 1 tile below (diagonally checker-placed) allows you to fill the whole room with hydrogen except the small 1 tile islands where the mealwood grows so you have basically 95% hydrogen room. That will mean literally 100% hydrogen immersion instead of 50% => double your plastic production. - (x4) keep 20 dreckos inside, or even more - you get loooads of plastic, because scales grow regardless if dreckos are happy or not, as long as they're alive. -(x infinity) make a dropoff above the room that can drop dreckos inside the ranch from a safe distance using automation(a door + a weight plate or critter counter to open the door ) and organize your whole farm on an "island" that dreckos can't escape from with that dropoff above it, but outside the room. That way you can drop infinitely many dreckos. Your limit would be dupe shearing time + mealwood required to keep dreckos alive. You can probably have easily 50+ dreckos in the same room with 7 mealwood plants. That should make for a ton of plastic. But even the 20 drecko farm is x4 improvement over your current version. - try to move the top left wall a bit to the right (1 tile) so the room has width 9 and 1 sweeper is enough to gather all eggs/materials. Your setup is very inefficient anyways, so that probably is the least of your worries 💩
This is awesome thank you. Does it need to be constantly pumped with both oxygen and hydrogen? Or is it okay to have some in, enough to fill both rooms?
hi nilaus, this coment is no related to the video but anyway, your heard about the game lobotomy corporation? if not is a It is a game like more than oxygen is not included it is a fallout shelter on the subject but instead of managing resources to survive you manage resources analyzing and containing monsters, in addition to controlling your resources you must control the mental health of your workers or bad things will happen , It is a very interesting game that mixes the gameplay of a resource management game with some terror factor, I only mentioned it if in some future you could do it even if it is a test gameplay, because that greetings nilaus your tutorials are still incredibly

yup you made it much more simple than a petrol base plastics manufacturing, its absolutely cleaner fit for my plan for very long cycles, thanks bro
Thanks a lot, came to learn how to drecko farm, left knowing how to do that and use an auto-sweeper too
Awsome tutorial !!! The easiest one to follow and with nice results,Thank you very much!

This is kind of an odd comment on a 3 year old video after a DLC release.
Just the one i needed 🤠
Oh hey, I made this exact design yesterday... well a couple differences. Im not as dumb as I think I am!
thank you man you're a legend
I'm always in need of deleting heat. And have tons of ladders. Being able to do this early game will solve a ton of problems.
7:38 you never showed how to get oxygen into the suit dock ?

drink everytime he says "this one"

tried it and hated it
How do you build a supply chain of hydrogen gas
Transfer excess hydrogen from your electolyzers or use hydrogen vents
