    Finally there’s an ensemble where the saxophones or trumpets don’t drown out the clarinets... because it’s all clarinets

    Nice performance! I only see one contra, but it sounds great! All the low clarinets do; some nice musical playing from the basses, and altos, too! Some good players across all the parts, but I could definitely use less Eb clarinet, especially when there are 2 of them doubling some parts. These guys are excellent, experienced players who could do a better job of balancing ( at least, on this recording it sounds that way). Matt did a great job on this arrangement, and stuck some nasty stuff in there for everybody....some devilish eefer arpeggios from hell!
