When I went to the local service centre here, they couldn't even take it out. They had to use like a screwdriver to hold it in place while another person pushed it out frm the bottom. GREAT JOB DYSON😒
Finally managed it, when using a small screw driver and pushed it in one of the two little holes right next to the „button“ - after that you need to press down the button and bush the plug out.
It took a looooooong time WITH screwdriver and plyers to remove the cable from the casing. Poor design on this particular part. Otherwise, the vacuum cleaner works great.

I managed to do it by pressing the connector part down (round plug part) and then moving the clip to the side and pushing out the connector. When pressing the connector down you will make more room for the clip to actually go out of the way, goodluck! 😅

So it took me a bit to figure this out but the solution is to press (on the connector) whilst tilting opposite of the clip that holds the connector in place (hope this makes sense). This makes enough room to actually make room to move the clip back. I still recommend using something along the lines of a screwdriver to save your fingers :). Hope this helps
I managed to remove the back plate and the cable head after 40min with the customer service and this video… it is very hard , will make sore fingers but it is possible
If only it were this easy. Had to use a dull knife as something thin enough to hold back the clip far enough so the charger head could still slide past it. Infuriating but I got it out. Scratched the top unfortunately.

The plate inside slides, it’s not obvious in the video , but does help with cable removal

It’s physically impossible to remove the charger from the wall mount.🤬
