I spliced wire rope a good part of my working life with United States Steel, We never went thru th process of going thru he is ,we had vices with special inserts we could put in for thimbles. The inserts went from 1/2 inch to 1 1/2. I did approximately 80 splices in 5 hours. This guy is slow, I do not see how he can make any money
